Inner Voices with the Australian String Quartet – Details, episodes & analysis

Learn about the incredible world of string quartet music through the unique and intimate perspective of Australian String Quartet musicians Dale Barltrop and Francesca Hiew (violins), Chris Cartlidge (viola) and Michael Dahlenburg (cello).

Each episode of Inner Voices with the Australian String Quartet focuses on a particular work of the canon, with ASQ musicians chatting candidly about their experience of learning, rehearsing and performing the works whilst touring the country and the world.

Inner Voices with the Australian String Quartet is hosted by Sam Jozeps, Creative Producer of the ASQ. Episodes include musical excerpts of the featured works along with other works by their composers, as well as a sampler track: a newly commissioned work created specifically for each episode, which takes samples from the title work to create a new, contemporary interpretation.
