Silver premiums are at a nice low, 1 oz Buffalo rounds can be bought at $25, and that's 999.9 pure. Sprott Physical Silver Trust (PSLV) is at a nice buy point, and SILJ is coming into a nice double bottom. Platinum and nickel are getting cheap. Bonds got hammered, setting up a nice buy on TLT. Turns out they have less metal in the ground than they thought they did. Japan is selling bonds and treasuries like pancakes, both factors driving yields up. Oil continues to perform, collect your dividends and hold. The Fed raised interest rates last week another 25bps, and the market did not care. S&P 500 continues to climb, gold closed the week flat despite some volatile moves on Wednesday and Thursday. Silver had some sharp moves but closed the week 1% down. Bought more SilverCrest in anticipation of them reaching nameplate capacity in a couple weeks. Also purchased more TLT when it shot down from the hike in interest rates. Copper had a nice bump in the equities when the spot price rose. Uranium and Cameco especially is performing like a boss. We talk about Russian sanctions, and the effect that could have on Uranium Energy Corp. We also learn that the SPUT is more discounted than we thought: Currently it is a 11.75% discount. If Spot market is $56.50, Ricks says term market is $60. 70% of the sales are done on the term market now. That's an additional 5.8% discount for 70% of the bet. 5.8(.70) = 4.1%. So, 11.75 + 4.1 = 15.85% Uranium in the Sprott Physical Uranium Trust are at a 15.85% discount to true market value. In a commodity that is overwhelmingly likely to increase in price.
