At the 2025 Fellowship Conference, Tim Conway preached Three Windows into the Compassionate Heart of God. What is it to seek? Seeking is to set the mind and heart on something. We go to Scripture and read it and our brain processes the ideas being communicated and we let our heart and mind be fixed on those realities. You seek Christ by calling upon Him and pleading with Him.
When someone is seeking Christ, one question to ask is what they're seeking Him for. Are they seeking Him to be saved from sin or to just be saved from trouble they find themselves in?

What Biblical advice would you give to someone who feels that another Christian has misjudged their character? If someone brings some of your actions, which you think are unintentional, and you just don't agree about their judgment, what is the Biblical and loving way to proceed?

The Christian can cling to any promise in the Bible because they belong to Jesus Christ. All of the promises of God are ours because of Him (2 Cor. 1:20). We should always be reading the Bible looking for promises (in both the Old and New Testament) that will help us in the Christian life.

Some of the reformers had pretty severe, shortsighted flaws, but we honor them nevertheless for their faith and their faithfulness; while at the same time not justifying the mistakes that they made.

Every Christian ought to be able to look at their conscience and find nothing between their souls and the Lord. If we find something that displeases the Lord, we need to put it to death immediately.

When people are pursuing Christ and say, "nothing happened", they can either give up seeking and go to hell, or they can keep seeking Him until they find Him. Christ may even test us and not give us what we're asking for immediately, but a person with faith won't give up because they have nowhere else to go but Christ.

Many people say they are seeking Christ, but they're not fully intent on seeking Him until they find Him. They're not really seeking Him; it's just a trivial matter to them.

If a person is casual about their sin, they are in danger. Jesus Christ looked men directly in the eye and warned them that they will be thrown into hell unless they cut off occasions that cause sin. Many professing Christians will soften a warning like this under the pretense of "grace", but they misunderstand what grace produces in someone's life. If a person is saved by grace and justified by faith, they will take the warnings of Christ seriously and not dismiss them. We must fight or go to hell.

What does it mean for God to bring us forth "by the word of truth"?

Why is it essential to be "quick to hear" and "slow to speak" according to James?

How does anger hinder the righteousness of God, as James describes?

How can we effectively receive God's Word with meekness?

James 1:18 - Of his own will he brought us forth by the word of truth, that we should be a kind of firstfruits of his creatures. 19 Know this, my beloved brothers: let every person be quick to hear, slow to speak, slow to anger; 20 for the anger of man does not produce the righteousness of God. 21 Therefore put away all filthiness and rampant wickedness and receive with meekness the implanted word, which is able to save your souls. 22 But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves.

There is nothing in your life that is evil, corrupt, wrong, dirty, that can withstand the Spirit. This is a mighty Spirit of God and He is let loose in the life of God’s people and He will accomplish the perfecting of you. – Tim Conway

When Jesus died, did His human nature die or did His divine nature die? If only His human nature died, then what is the significance of it? If God can't die, how did Jesus die if He is God?

We need to make sure we get our answers from Scripture; not let anyone disarm us from using our Bibles. We also need to understand what death truly is according to Scripture. We also don't need to be afraid to acknowledge that some things that Scripture teaches are mysteries.

There are many seeker sensitive "churches" that are trying to manipulate people into their church. They treat church membership like a numbers game. The true church is looking for those who have truly experienced regeneration.

Are you at peace? You don't want to get to your death bed, and find there is no rest, no peace. Is there rest, is there peace between you and God? Or is your life not at rest? Jesus says, "Come!" and there is no one more qualified to come and preach peace. He's the very one that made peace between God and man. He took all that hostility, He took all the severe punishment for all those sins; so that we would have peace with God.

When young people actually develop the habits of Biblical fasting, it makes it a whole lot easier to say "no" to lust. In the reverse, those who have no control to fast from food are often the ones falling into lust.

Every single person will be gathered before Jesus Christ on Judgment Day. They will all stand before Him and receive their eternal sentence. They will either hear from Him, "Come you blessed," or "Depart you wicked."
