Elevations in histamine have been associated with IBS and gut symptoms. Many IBS sufferers notice benefits addressing histamine by lowering histamine in their diets and incorporating supplements that reduce histamine production. While this dietary strategy may help reduce histamine symptoms, it is not the best long term strategy for histamine intolerance long term!
