No Michael Myers this Halloween, but we have something better! Low production budget and bad effects with cheesy acting and lame story plot... sorry, did we say better?

We are just really milking our sci-fi/horror genre with our newest episode, Event Horizon (1997) It was going to be Friday the 13th, but we'll save that one for next year! Its Event Horizon's 25th anniversary this year and some of the film has held up however, others haven't and we explore mainly the ones that haven't! Starring Laurence Fishburne, Sam Neill, and Kathleen Quinlan. Directed by Paul W. S. Anderson

Which was was better? Which was scarier? Do you even consider this film horror? We liked Aliens (1986) but was it better than the first? An why was Bishop the best character?! We dive deep, like space deep , like cry-freeze 57 years later deep and review this mother of an Alien film! Oh and James Cameron directed this one, not Ridley Scott!

A couple of these going on here! 1st of all happy almost spooky month, and here at IFW we like to celebrate early! Consider Alien (1979)a smooth transition to our unofficial Sci-fi run into our horror run starting in September and going all the way into the end of October! We have some very exciting episodes coming up and starting off strong with this one! Enjoy!

So many space movies, so little time! 2001: A Space Odyssey (1968) in man opinion is height Kubrick and one of my all time favorites! Amazing to come out with something so ambitious a year before humans go to the moon! The movie is a epic science fiction film produced and directed by Stanley Kubrick. The screenplay was written by Kubrick and science fiction author Arthur C. Clarke, and was inspired by Clarke's 1951 short story "The Sentinel" and other short stories by Clarke.

Interstellar (2014) is stellar! It has everything going for it, a great cast, great acting, an impactful and ambitious story, and beautiful cinematography... yeah that pretty much it... I don't have anything to say negatively about the movie at all! Starring Matthew McConaughey, Anne Hathaway, Michael Caine, and Jessica Chastain... maybe Matt Damon is there too.

I HAVE A NEED... A NEED FOR SPEED!!!  Maverick, Iceman , and Goose and David and Alain love this film!!! It maybe a little cheesy 80s flick now but slap on those aviators and that super cool jacket Tom Cruise wears in that one scene on the motorcycle and listen to our episode on Top Gun (1986)

Pirate Radio or The Boat That Rocked, call whatever you like, but it doesn't stop it from being an awesome film with a great cast! Like a lot of things from Britain moved to the US of A, it becomes a little less awesome and this is what happened to The Boat That Rocked (2009) It got a title change and about 30 minutes of footage cut from it, also there's a nude scene that got cut too, so point proven!

HEY YOU GUYSSS!!!! We have a very special episode for you today where we talk about everyone's favorite child adventure film, The Goonies (1985) And on todays episode we have a very special guest from Netflix's Fuller House, Michael Campion!!!! We talk to Michael about one of his favorite films and his experience as a child actor and comparing it to these child actors of the 80s!!

This is a cartoon of a movie where there are no rules and lives don't matter, welcome Wet Hot American Summer (2001). Starring Michael Showalter, Marguerite Moreau, Paul Rudd, Amy Poehler, Bradley Cooper and Elizabeth Banks. Two reasons we did this film, 1. It has the word Summer in it and 2. Because its funny!

It's that time of year again, so put out the pumpkin and set out the candy and start up Halloween 5: The Revenge of Michael Myers! We begin this story right where we left off of the last, well... not right, right where we left off because they retconned a bunch of stuff from 4, but it's still an enjoyable flick! For me, THIS FILM is the juice! AND I've got my head ALL THE WAY UP IT! Jokes aside, this film is awesome and if there was a 6 hour version of Heat (1995) I would watch that and it's pacing would only feel 3 hours long anyways! Starring Al Pacino, Robert De Niro, and a young Val Kilmer!
