Hello and welcome to episode one of How's Stat, the nostalgic cricket trivia podcast. Join us each month to try your hand at the various cricketing quizzes focusing on stats, characters and a certain West Indian allrounder. Episode one will kick off a five match test series between Gary and Lee, with Dave posing the questions with some tenuous pun-based round names.

As is the modern way, we’re changing up the format mid-series to don the pyjamas for a one-day showdown. Gary is off on hols (and is a red-ball specialist) so we mix things up with Lee asking the questions. Dave’s opponent is our first guest statter, friend of the pod, voice of the European cricket league and proud Australian: Andy ‘Rhino’ Ryan. Will Rhino be able to catch Dave cold in his first appearance answering questions?
