Join Comedian Matt Forde as he puts the heartache of being a lifelong Nottingham Forest fan behind him. His new goal in life is simple: discover what it takes to win the greatest footballing competition on earth.


Now a manager is nothing without his team and similarly to Tuchel, Matt needs to form his own World Cup podcast squad. So in this very first episode he is ringing around the houses and calling in some favours from some of the very best.


Our starting XI is looking strong already, boasting an impressive midfield that includes World Cup winners Kléberson and Emmanuel Petit. We have the formidable Brad Friedel as our last line of defence in goal and of course not forgetting comedian Alex Brooker... we'll find somewhere for him later.


How do you win the World Cup? No idea, but we'll figure it out!
