Albert Mohler Jr. Narrator: Tom Parks Format: Unabridged Length: 2 hrs and 45 mins Language: English Release date: 01-23-18 Publisher: Thomas Nelson Genres: Religion & Spirituality, Christianity Summary: A groundbreaking book from the president of the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary that teaches listeners how to participate in the radical, transformative prayer that Jesus taught his first disciples. The Lord's Prayer has been domesticated and tamed, turned into a safe series of comforting words and made familiar by repetition. In reality, writes Dr. Albert Mohler, the Lord's Prayer turns the world upside down, toppling every earthly power and announcing God's reign over all things, in heaven and on earth. The Lord's Prayer is the most powerful prayer in all the Bible, taught by Jesus to his own disciples. This generation of Christians desperately needs to relearn the Lord's Prayer and learn from Christ himself how we are to unleash the power and discipline of prayer. Contact: info@esound.space

https://esound.space/audible Title: Invitation to a Journey Author: M. Robert Mulholland Jr. Narrator: Kaleo Griffith Format: Unabridged Length: 5 hrs and 53 mins Language: English Release date: 04-24-15 Publisher: christianaudio.com Genres: Religion & Spirituality, Christianity Summary: "The process of being conformed to the image of Christ for the sake of others" - so M. Robert Mulholland Jr., defines spiritual formation. Compact and solid, this definition encompasses the dynamics of a vital Christian life and counters our culture's tendency to make spirituality a trivial matter or reduce it to a private affair between "me and Jesus". In Invitation to a Journey, Mulholland helps Christians new and old to understand that we become like Christ gradually, not instantly. Not every personality is suited to an early morning quiet time, so Mulholland frees different personality types to express their piety differently. He reviews the classical spiritual disciplines and demonstrates the importance of undertaking our spiritual journey with (and for the sake of) others. This road map for spiritual formation is profoundly biblical and down to earth. In the finest tradition of spiritual literature, it is a vital help to Christians at any stage of their journey. In these 16 visions she learnt about God's loving nature. God in Julian's visions was not angry and wrathful. Instead, the three properties of God were presented as life, love and light, and all of His creation was good, including his servant, man. In Julian's version, Man is not to blame for his sin; instead it is something that he must experience and overcome in his spiritual journey with God. The version of Christian theology presented in Revelations of Divine Love - the first published book in English attributed to a woman - was highly liberal and incredibly progressive for its time. The book contains some of the most profound spiritual writing ever written and remains a perennial favorite among Christians. Contact: info@esound.space

| Nobody's Cuter Than You by Melanie Shankle | Free Audiobook | 16 Apr 2015 | 05:09:00 | |
Listen to free audiobook with a 30 day free trial :
https://esound.space/audible Title: Nobody's Cuter Than You Author: Melanie Shankle Narrator: Melanie Shankle Format: Unabridged Length: 5 hrs and 9 mins Language: English Release date: 04-16-15 Publisher: christianaudio.com Genres: Religion & Spirituality, Christianity Summary: There is nothing as precious in life as a friend who knows you and loves you in spite of yourself. Yet over the last couple of decades, we've substituted the joy of real friendship with cheap imitations. We settle for "community" on Facebook and Twitter and a series of text messages that allow us to communicate with someone without the commitment. We like each other's beautifully filtered photos on Instagram and delude ourselves into believing we have a community. But real friendship requires effort. It's showing up, laughing loud, and crying hard. It's forgiving and loving and giving the benefit of the doubt. It's making a casserole, doing a carpool pickup, and making sure she knows those cute shoes are 50 percent off. Written in the same comedic style as the New York Times best sellers Sparkly Green Earrings and The Antelope in the Living Room, Nobody's Cuter Than You is a laugh-out-loud look at the special bond that exists between friends and a poignant celebration of all the extraordinary people God had the good sense to bring into our lives at exactly the right moments. From the friendships we develop over a lifetime to the ones that wounded us and the ones that taught us to love better, Melanie Shankle reveals the influence our friends have on who we were, who we are, and who we will become. And on a day when our jeans feel too tight, our chins have decided to embrace hormone-related acne reminiscent of our teen years, and our kids have tested the limits of our sanity, they are the ones who will look at us and say, "Nobody's cuter than you!" Murray Format: Unabridged Length: 7 hrs and 5 mins Language: English Release date: 04-13-15 Publisher: Audible Studios Genres: Religion & Spirituality, Christianity Summary: All religions and worldviews seek to answer the fundamental questions of human existence: Why am I here? What does it mean to be human? Why is there evil in the world, and how do we deal with it? But not every worldview places equal emphasis on each issue. The main worldviews each tend to stress a different central question. Secular humanism focuses on: What is the inherent value of human beings? Pantheism emphasizes: How do we escape suffering? Islam's main concern is: How is God great? Abdu Murray digs deeply into these three representatives of major worldviews of our day: atheism, pantheism, and theism. This lawyer and former Muslim brings compassion, understanding, and clarity to his analysis, comparing the answers of each view to the central message of Christianity. | Fatima for Today by Andrew Apostoli | Free Audiobook | 16 Nov 2017 | 11:28:00
Listen to free audiobook with a 30 day free trial :
https://esound.space/audible Title: Fatima for Today Author: Andrew Apostoli Narrator: Bernard M. Collins Format: Unabridged Length: 11 hrs and 28 mins Language: English Release date: 11-16-17 Publisher: Ignatius Press Genres: Religion & Spirituality, Christianity Summary: Though the apparitions of Our Lady of Fatima took place almost a hundred years ago, Our Lady's call to prayer and penance for the salvation of souls and peace in the world is as relevant now as when first delivered to three Portuguese peasant children in 1917. At the peak of the First World War, Our Lady warned of another worldwide conflict, the rise and spread of Communism, and a terrible persecution of the Church unless people repented of their sins and returned to God. She also requested devotion to her Immaculate Heart and a special consecration of Russia. Much of what Our Lady of Fatima said was revealed soon after her appearances, but the third and final "secret", which was not a message but a prophetic vision seen by the children, was not unveiled by the Vatican until 2000. Pope John Paul II, who read the third secret while recovering from the attempt upon his life in 1981, believed the vision signified the sufferings the Church had endured in the twentieth century. Because of the prophetic nature of her messages, Our Lady of Fatima has been the subject of much controversy and speculation. In this audiobook, Father Andrew Apostoli carefully analyzes the events that took place in Fatima and clears up lingering questions and doubts about their meaning. He also challenges the reader to hear anew the call of Our Lady to prayer and sacrifice, for the world is ever in need of generous hearts willing to make reparation for those in danger of losing their way to God. https://esound.space/audible Title: The Bible in a Nutshell Author: Casper Rigsby Narrator: Michael Leamy Format: Unabridged Length: 47 mins Language: English Release date: 04-13-15 Publisher: Atheist Republic Genres: Religion & Spirituality, Christianity Summary: If you've ever read the whole Bible, you are well aware of just how big this book is. With an estimated word count of well over 700,000, the book is not an undertaking for the casual reader. The book can be a very tedious and boring read. This turns many people off from wanting to commit any time to understanding the foundational doctrine of Christianity. However, as atheists we really need to have at least a basic understanding of the Bible if we are going to make a judgment call about the religion. No matter which sect of Christianity someone subscribes to, the Bible is the foundation of Christian belief. This audiobook is a mere 7,000 words and tells a slimmed-down version of the basic story of the Bible. This book is focused on the narrative rather than any underlying allegory or metaphor inherent in the narrative. The author attempts to challenge the notion of biblical literalism by showing that the story in its most basic form is simply too fantastic for any rational person to believe. Genres: Religion & Spirituality, Christianity Summary: Two thousand years ago, Jesus said, "Follow me." What if the 21st-century Church actually heeded that call? What would the world look like if the Church were truly on the move? Simply put, very different. But these ponderings beg one more critical question: What exactly should the Church be moving toward? In Walking with Jesus: A Way Forward for the Church, Pope Francis' own words lead us to the answer. Francis urges us to make Jesus central in our individual lives and in the collective life of the Church - to walk toward him and ultimately to walk with him at all times and in all places. With a foreword by Archbishop of Chicago Blase J. Cupich, Pope Francis' first major appointment in the United States, Walking with Jesus offers the Church a much-needed way forward, past its inner and outer walls, as it fearlessly follows Christ toward the future. Then Julie was shown upcoming world events that will be both tragic and glorious. She saw earthquakes, tsunamis, famines, plagues, and wars, but she also witnessed how the Lord is watching over His people and is preparing places of refuge to protect them from the coming calamities. Julie was filled with joy as she saw the Saints establish the New Jerusalem and other Cities of Light in preparation for the Savior's Second Coming. Prior to her return, she was told that at a future time she would be expected to tell others about her experience. That time has come. https://esound.space/audible Title: Her Gates Will Never Be Shut Author: Bradley Jersak Narrator: Tim Welch Format: Unabridged Length: 7 hrs and 18 mins Language: English Release date: 04-01-15 Publisher: Bradley Jersak Genres: Religion & Spirituality, Christianity Summary: Everlasting hell and divine judgment, a lake of fire and brimstone - these mainstays of evangelical tradition have come under fire once again in recent decades. Would the God of love revealed by Jesus really consign the vast majority of humankind to a destiny of eternal, conscious torment? Is divine mercy bound by the demands of justice? How can anyone presume to know who is saved from the flames and who is not? Reacting to presumptions in like manner, others write off the fiery images of final judgment altogether. If there is a God who loves us, then surely all are welcome into the heavenly kingdom, regardless of their beliefs or behaviors in this life. Yet, given the sheer volume of threat rhetoric in the Scriptures and the wickedness manifest in human history, the pop-universalism of our day sounds more like denial than hope. Mercy triumphs over judgment; it does not skirt it. Her Gates Will Never Be Shut endeavors to reconsider what the Bible and the Church have actually said about hell and hope, noting a breadth of real possibilities that undermines every presumption. The polyphony of perspectives on hell and hope offered by the prophets, apostles, and Jesus humble our obsessive need to harmonize every text into a neat theological system. But they open the door to the eternal hope found in Revelation 21-22: the City whose gates will never be shut; where the Spirit and Bride perpetually invite the thirsty who are outside the city to "Come, drink of the waters of life." He will discover that his outward man (soul) is not in harmony with his inward man (spirit). Both tend to go toward two opposite directions from each other. He will also sense the inability of his outward man to submit to the inner control of his regenerated spirit. His greatest difficulty lies in his outward man, which hinders him from using his spirit. Each one of us has as much of the same "Jacob nature" in us. Our only hope is that the Lord may blaze a way out of us, breaking our outward man - breaking it to such a degree that the inward man may come out and be seen. This is precious! This is the way to serve the Lord. Contact: info@esound.space

B. Eerdmans Publishing Company Genres: Religion & Spirituality, Christianity Summary: An evangelical classic for a new generation of Christian listeners. Back for the first time in many years, John Stott's classic treatise on confession discusses a neglected Christian practice. Though the Bible clearly teaches that confession is a necessary part of the redemption story, many Christians are uncertain how and to whom they should confess their sins. Stott offers vital answers in Confess Your Sins: The Way of Reconciliation. After presenting the necessity of confession, Stott distinguishes between three types of confession - in secret to God, in private to a person whom our sin has injured, and in public in the presence of a Christian congregation. He shows how this threefold distinction is biblically grounded, and he critically examines the practice of confessing to a priest. Offering assurance of forgiveness to Christians, this audiobook opens the door to fruitful conversation about the practice of confession. Contact: info@esound.space

Your family's lives? To many Christians in the Middle East today, a "momentary, light affliction" means enduring only torture instead of martyrdom. The depth of oppression Jesus' followers suffer is unimaginable to most Western Christians. Yet it is an everyday reality for those who choose faith over survival in Syria, Iran, Egypt, Lebanon, and other countries hostile to the Gospel of Christ. In Killing Christians Tom Doyle takes listeners to the secret meetings, the torture rooms, the grim prisons, and even the executions that are the "calling" of countless Muslims turned Christians. All survivors long to share with brothers and sisters "on the outside" what Christ has taught them. Killing Christians is their message to listeners who still enjoy freedom to practice their faith. None would wish their pain and suffering on those who do not have to brave such misery, but the richness gained through their remarkable trials are delivered--often in their own words--through this audiobook. The stories are breathtaking, the lessons soul stirring and renewing. Killing Christians presents the dead-serious work of expanding and maintaining the faith. Contact: info@esound.space

God's throne is established on His authority. God's authority represents God Himself. God alone is authority in all things; all the authorities of the earth are instituted by God. It is therefore important for us who desire to serve God to know the authority of God. God's authority is absolute, hence we must give Him absolute submission (our heart's attitude) and absolute obedience (our outward actions). But to His delegated authorities we can render absolute submission, but only relative obedience. For their authorities are circumscribed by the measure of the life of Christ in them. Only when they themselves submit to God's authority in them are they able to represent God. Hence there is much we have to learn about how to represent God. Contact: info@esound.space

Series and it's filled with insight into His personal fellowship time with Jesus. He always gives all honor and credit to the Holy Spirit for all his knowledge and wisdom; he often says, "The Holy Spirit is smarter than me." With nearly 20 years in ministry and 10 years in law enforcement, Rev. Dr. Wiley has often found some low points in life. Dr. Wiley decided to write this particular book to help himself during his daily walk, not only as a devout Christian, but also as an average family guy. We believe that some of his first questions will be about discipleship. How have we followed His Great Commission to make disciples? How many disciples did we raise up to do greater things than we ourselves achieved? Who "imitates our lives as we imitate Christ"? Jesus did not command us to build the church; He called us to make disciples. Effective discipleship creates the church, not the other way around. This is the first of many new Huddle resources that will give you practical and Biblical insights on building a culture of discipleship in your community. Contact: info@esound.space
