House of Oneness - Plant Medicine Experts – Details, episodes & analysis

I am going to take you on a journey, we all encounter failures in life. When you go through failure, it’s all about how you deal with it. 

In this case I was working with a Shaman from Colombia, as he stood in front of my door I had zero participants for the retreat we were about to do. 

I would like to start with how this retreat came to existence. A good friend of mine was traveling in South America. I told him: when you see a Shaman that is very special, please invite him to come to The Netherlands. We will give people an experience that is different from what they have ever experienced before. 

I am going to take you with me on the journey of how I learned to cook Ayahuasca, this is not something you can easily learn. If I would give you the recipe today, there is a big chance you are not going to be able to cook the Ayahuasca in the right way. 

The first time I drank Ayahuasca was in 2013, I taught; this is the secret to life. I see it as if the spirit of Ayahuasca is the spirit of Mother Earth. We all come from nature, we are a part of it. 

This beautiful medicine can help you remember that you are part of nature, as if this is Mother Earth helping you to remember you, to heal you, to support you and to give you insights. 

Everything we see in the Outer World is e reflection of our Inner World. We all have this inner voice that is judging. Who are you judging? Because in the end you will realise: What I think of you, is what I think of me.

Life challenged me to not judge about myself which was very challenging.

Plant Medicine, natural healing and the pharmaceutical world are not always the best friends. When I started working with Ayahuasca, it opened up my eyes on how this works.

At one point I had an undercover person in my Ayahuasca Ceremony. Since an Ayahuasca Ceremony is so intimate, this hurt me a lot. Not for me, more for my team and my participants. It brought a lot od stress and on a deeper level it brought unsafety.

Entering the World of Shamanism after I went the Shipibo tribe in Peru. After that the plant started to invite me to start leading ceremonies.

I went to Peru for an Ayahuasca journey. Looking back, I could never imagine the change that this journey to Peru brought. It was a closure of the old and a welcoming of the new.
