In this episode, I’m joined by Tammy Weeks, the founder of Elevate Hope, a nonprofit born out of her unwavering faith and determination to bring hope to disadvantaged communities both locally and globally.

Tammy shares her journey of stepping out in faith to create Elevate Hope, a mission-driven organization focused on breaking cycles of poverty and restoring hope. Despite having no prior experience with nonprofit work, Tammy trusted God’s guidance, completing and filing her nonprofit application within three hours and receiving approval in just seven days. Through her work as a school counselor, Tammy witnessed the deep impact of poverty and brokenness on families, which fueled her passion to make a difference. She describes her mission to empower humanity and provide resources—spiritual, educational, and financial—to those in need.

Tammy opens up about her personal transformation journey, detailed in her devotional Back to the Garden. She explains how seasons of rest and stillness in God’s presence allowed her to heal, grow, and embrace her purpose. Tammy also highlights the importance of community and sisterhood, urging women to cheer each other on as they step out in faith to fulfill their calling.
