11. Building the New City29 Oct 202400:06:56

In today's episode we are getting a little woo woo in honour of Halloween! I'm going to get a little personal and share one of my biggest life goals.

Do you ever feel like life is trying to tell you something?

At the end of 2023, I was 34 – broke, divorced, just opened a brand new business, and sleeping on my parents couch. Not anywhere near close to the glamorous life I was portraying online, or the one that I so desperately wanted. On the outside I seemed successful, crushing goals, and not letting anyone or anything stop me. But on the inside I was crumbling, stuck, and lost.

I began this year by committing to two major changes in my life. One, a daily journaling practice, and Two, within that daily journaling practice to write 3 things that I was grateful for each day. Despite the pressure, the suffering, the struggle, I could always find at least 3 things daily that I could find gratitude in, and the writing worked as a cathartic release for me.

So here I am, I have started to make some new habits for myself. Rebuilding the city if you will. I have decided to start making intentional time out of my week every week to write. I’ll keep you updated on my journey.

Did this episode resonate with you?

What has life been nudging you to do? Have you been listening to it, or suppressing it?

If you are wanting to get started on your own pen to paper journey, I have a fantastic resource for you. I have created a series of custom made journals to help you with a gratitude practice, business, and manifestation. You can find them over on my snipfeed page snipfeed.co/honoureducation

If you loved this episode, I want to hear from you (seriously this type of conversation is my absolute FAVORITE to have). Send me a DM on Instagram @honourwithheather and let's talk. I’m here to help support you with rebuilding your city.

18. The Instagram Comparison Trap with Ashley Rose 12 Mar 202500:40:29

Welcome back to The Honour with Heather Podcast

In this episode, we’re diving into the comparison trap — that sneaky little mindset that makes you feel like you’re falling behind while everyone else seems to be thriving. Social media, especially Instagram, has a way of amplifying this, showing us curated highlights that can leave us feeling inadequate. But here’s the truth: Comparison kills joy, creativity, and progress.

My pal Ashley Rose and I will share personal experiences, practical mindset shifts, and strategies to help you stay in your own lane, celebrate your progress, and use social media in a way that inspires rather than drains you.
