Yapping About Baby Names, Green Cards, & Home Videos
Episode 73
mardi 27 août 2024 • Duration 54:45
Honeys, we’re kind of all over the place today (in the best way possible). Today’s episode kicks off with a continuation of the discussion around the listener email about getting married for a green card, since we have new info! Nicole and Caro have their first mini fight on the pod, which is exciting for you all because it makes for great content. They then discuss beauty and coffee-related recs of the week, and add in a new segment of women recs of the week where they basically just geek out over women they’re obsessing over at the current moment. They then pull up the official newly-released top 10 baby names list, and yap about baby names and how they need to be “cute to hot” to truly be a good name. They end with some exciting rapid fire questions right before they go get martinis, yum.

Girls Trips vs. Couples Trips: Pros & Cons
Episode 36
mardi 13 août 2024 • Duration 51:24
Honeys, we're finally home. No but actually, the girls have been apart for what feels like a century because Nicole was running amok in Spain and London for the past 2.5 weeks since she's childless and (corporate) jobless. Caro catches her up on what she's missed, including Sonny Angels and the giant river in France. They then recap Nicole's trip and chat all about the pros and cons of traveling with a girl vs. a guy (hint: unfortunately it's easier with a guy only bc they carry bags). They end with a listener email struggling with a big dilemma about whether or not she should get married for a green card, which we have absolutely no expertise on so send us your thoughts on the @honeywerehomepod instagram! or email honeywerehomepodcast@gmail.com of course. Honey, It's Caro's Husband!! PT. 2 (support when work sucks, being flexible and always laughing)
Season 1 · Episode 74
mercredi 7 août 2024 • Duration 58:23
There's a special guest this week and it is none other than John Albert Patterson III, Caro's witty husband, back for round two. No stranger to coming on the show, John and Caroline skip the meet cute (go to their first joint episode, Honey, John's Home, for all that good stuff and then come back!) and they get straight in to audience burning questions. After a quick recap of All About John, a Ballerina Farm debrief that only a male could drum up, and a saga of why being a faster dish washer isn't always better when it means broken glass and cloudy cups ◡̈ (as well as some caffeine and red wine) the pair get in to the nitty gritty. What is it like when one of them is stressed at work, what's working and what isn't when it comes to support of the stressed out party, and what happens when you know better but stress gets the better of you anyways? They talk about integrated Caro's toast game from bachelorettes into their day to day as a way to build positive perspective and silver linings even when it might have been a hard week, and discover that there's a nice harmony when they practice being both overly communicative and flexible with each other. They end the episode with a game of How Well Does John Know Pop Culture and John throws it back on Caro only to his demise, when he loses a bet and has to watch the entire Eras tour movie with her.
You can follow Caroline Crawford Patterson and Nicole Pellegrino at @carolinecrawfordpatterson and @nicolepellegrin0 on instagram (u cannot follow John because he leads a life of shrewd social media mystery when he isn't on a hiatus and only accessing it through his browser)

Ladies Who Lunch with Jenna Bycoff (BRIDEMERCH)
Season 1 · Episode 38
mardi 30 juillet 2024 • Duration 58:55
This is the first episode of "Ladies Who Lunch", an ongoing series where the girlies interview people they are obsessed with in real life and online over their favorite drinks, all to have a little laugh and maybe get a good story or a solid piece of life advice along the way. Their first guest is the electric and lovable Jenna Bycoff, the founder and designer of bridal streetwear brand, Bridemerch. Jenna gets deep about starting a brand in her mid-thirties and the journey to get there. She discusses the inspiration behind the brand, how long it took to come to life, and exactly how she made it a reality. Emphasizing a slow approach and the importance of having a partner that treats your passions just as importantly as their own, the girlies hold hands while they get inspired to stop freaking out over their timelines so much and just GET THERE WHEN THEY GET THERE. They play an invigorating game of Love or War that leads to a tantalizing conversation on where men cut their toenails (and if some of them even do?!) and end with a quick little tutorial on how to NOT be the grumpy photo taking spouse (you know the ones we're talking about). We can't wait for you to get in to this episode and would love to hear who you want to see next on Ladies Who Lunch ♡
You can find Jenna on Instagram @bridemerch and online at https://www.shopbridemerch.com - she is also sold in-store at Kleinfeld's and online and in select stores at Anthropologie.
If you're looking for the girls (not that you asked) you can find them on Instagram @honeywerehomepodcast as well as @carolinecrawfordpatterson and @nicolepellegrin0
Emails are the bread and butter of the show, always discussed anonymously, and keep the conversation flowing on experiences and obstacles that fortunately (and sometimes, unfortunately) you probably aren't alone in going through! Honey We're Falling in Love Again
Season 1 · Episode 36
mardi 23 juillet 2024 • Duration 45:17
Happy Freaking Tuesday. Caro read One Italian Summer and listened to Taylor's Swift surprise song set in Gelsenkirchen and decided just because she's married it doesn't mean she can't fall in love again. It's the summer of "sexy dates" - which are basically "engates" (engaged-dates) for washed up married girlies like ourselves. The real tea comes from audience tips, who are proof that this theory works and Niki has enough ideas to write a book on cool things we should all start doing with our spouse. Listen for a little touch of delusional inspiration because there's no reason we all shouldn't be living in our own rom-coms, and the book should keep getting saucier with each chapter (even when the logistics of life are trying their DAMNDEST to get us).

We're Talking Money, Honey (bridesmaid costs, wall art, & more expensive things)
Episode 100
mardi 16 juillet 2024 • Duration 59:06
Today's episode addresses everyone's favorite topic: MONEY. Caro and Niki decide to sign up for painting classes because wall art is too expensive (let's see if they'll actually follow through with it though). Then, they talk about what they'd be doing if they could work for fun and not for money (lol, goals). The rest of the episode is spent discussing an email from a MOH who's bride friend is asking her to pay a trillion dollars for her MOH duties, which leads to a larger discussion: why is being a bridesmaid so effing expensive, and how can we be good bridesmaids without spending our life savings? The girlies then answer audience questions which inevitably leads to the topic of baby timelines, shocker! xoxo

Honey We’re Dealing with Family Drama During Wedding Season
Episode 78
mardi 9 juillet 2024 • Duration 41:16
This week’s episode is a little shorter than usual, because summer is busy and time is of the essence for all! The girlies start off by addressing the elephants in the room: Niki’s fresh lip filler (only half a syringe) and Caro’s violent hangover. Then they chat about future baby nursery themes because it’s never too early to start visualizing those for your unborn children. They end the episode by giving advice on a listener email all about wedding planning with family drama: Do you have to invite your sister just because she’s your sister? Who should get an automatic plus one? Who should be allowed in the family photos? Catch the answers to these and more this week on HWH. Xoxo

Honey We’re Battling Internet Strangers and Reviewing Baby Shower Etiquette
Season 1 · Episode 34
mardi 2 juillet 2024 • Duration 01:03:42
The elephant in the room is that caro got obliterated online last week and the girlies aren’t feeling GREAT about it. Caro might have handled it with jokes but she unpacks the unpleasantness and emotional breakdown behind what really happened and Niki threatens to go to battle in her honor - because all facades down, it isn’t pleasant being up against millions of bullies behind screens, no matter how secure you might be in reality. Afterwards there’s a very important rendezvous regarding baby shower etiquette including how many drinks one should have, why you can’t procrastinate the baby shower gift much the girls’ surprise and whether the cooed shower is the new move. Recs of the week are summer refreshment inspired and love or war leads to a fight over caro being cheugy and Niki not knowing how to play mermaids. Enjoy and Stay Hot Hunnies 🍯

Are We Accepting the Bare Minimum From Men?
Episode 80
mardi 25 juin 2024 • Duration 59:54
Today's episode is a fun catch up. If you really want to spice things up, let's play a little game: drink every time one of the girls says "involved". They start out by talking about which brands have a chic aesthetic, and which are made to cater to Crossfit men. Then, get discuss how it's important to set expectations early on with your partner about how involved (drink!) you want them to be in your life's events, and how unfortunately that's not always the case with some couples. Not Mike and John though, they're perfect. (We're feeling nice today). Xoxo
