Hero Adjacent – Details, episodes & analysis

Hero Adjacent is an epic fantasy, genre-busting TTRPG Actual Play where four sort-of-but-not-really-heroes that the world doesn't need at all are thrust into a legendary quest they can't handle in a world much, much bigger than them.

The podcast is put on by five certified D-list tabletop industry creators & voice actors. Four of us made a pretty popular space opera podcast called The Homebrew, three of us work in marketing for the worlds biggest tabletop and fantasy brands, two of us made Veil of the Eternal Night and MythCraft TTRPG, and one of us is Roger.

We prioritize improv over planning, roleplay over mechanics, character development above all, we all know the rules pretty well, and the podcast is very, very lightly edited, presented as a real ACTUAL actual play, in all its messy table talk and google searches that admittedly have us on several lists.
