I believe that energy is one of our most precious resources, and we need to do everything we can to protect it and work with our natural rhythms. Our productivity is shaped by our habits, so it's important to be mindful of what we're doing and choose habits that will benefit us. Systems can help us be more productive by taking away the need to make decisions or reinvent the wheel every time we do something.

This week, we're looking at the remaining three: energy, habits and systems. The six areas fall under the framework:. Who do I need to be? How do I work? And what do I do?

Get the sleep, eat the foods that give you energy and do the exercise. Work with our energy rather than against it. It's important to be mindful about what you're doing, and cataloging your habits is a good place to start the phone, picking up, drinking coffee and going for a run are some of the habits that can be changed.[00:11:09] - Systems are a set of practices and procedures that are applied to specific activities to achieve a specific result. Steve Jobs, Mark Zuckerberg and others have a system for their clothes, so they wear the same clothes every day.
