| Justin Patrick Pierce: Ending The Inner War That Keeps Men From Feeling Free | EP 87 | 29 sept. 2026 | 01:18:13 | |
Justin Patrick Pierce is back for his third round on Heart of Man, and this conversation is just as good as our first two... For those new to his work, Justin is a sacred intimacy teacher who co-founded the Yoga of Intimacy with his wife, Londin Angel Winters. Our first conversation touched on desire itself and how we can use it deliberately to enliven our love life... In our second, Londin joined us to explore keeping the fire alive long-term in partnership... And in this conversation, we examine the common conflict, especially within a lot of high performers: this persistent question around how we can feel more free, specifically how we can experience freedom regardless of our circumstances. Many men attempt to get there through external means, whether it's through building status, power, or influence. Others might pursue it through optionality with women: variety, and not wanting to be tied down to one woman. And what we examine is how the underlying pain of not feeling free and the actions we take from that place actually intensify the experience of not feeling free. We also explore how we can actually work with this inner conflict in ourselves through an exploration of the inner marriage. Here, Justin brings me through a guided practice: and this one gets raw. It gets real. It gets vulnerable, as I reveal the inner battles I was experiencing with myself before I left Bali. And if that's not enough, rest assured, things get spicy towards the end of our interview, where Justin offers us a preview of his upcoming book. In this conversation, discover:
What stuck with me personally is how much of my own striving has been an attempt to be seen as a good man. To be of use. To be of value. And in our 15-minute practice together, I had the chance to find all of that acknowledgement in myself... This episode's for anyone who's chased freedom through success, status, or women, and still feels trapped. — Connect with Alex: ◼ Think we might be a good fit to work together? | Welcome to 'Heart of Man' | 18 sept. 2026 | 00:02:16
Life as a man can be tough... We get flooded with messages on who to be & how to act, all while we carry the constant pressure to lead, provide & perform. And so, as a response, we adapt... At the extremes, certain men do this by cutting themselves off from qualities in themselves that are considered masculine, because the narrative is that masculinity or being masculine is toxic. Other men swing to the other extreme, cutting themselves off from qualities like gentleness and openheartedness, being told that such qualities are effeminate, weak or non-masculine. Both sides of the spectrum learn what lets them stay part of the tribe, keeps them relevant, and gets their needs met. Another way to say this is we learn what works and gets us results... But in all the men I've spoken to, this has come with a heavy price... Somewhere along the way of becoming somebody for everybody else, they've cut themselves off from essential aspects of themselves and became a nobody to themselves. Eventually, the ways that they've adapted from who they are, the very things that might have brought them external success, begin to backfire:
The question is: How can you lead a life that you don't feel you need to escape from? How can you create a life that's worth living? A life where you don't just feel like a leader in your business or vocation, but in every area of your life, whether it's your personal, love, or work life. Where you can look yourself in the mirror at the end of the day, look yourself in the eyes, and say: "I am proud of you." And really mean it. Heart of Man is my answer. This channel is for the man ready to reclaim who he is at his core & learn what it means to live fully embodied in leadership, love and life. Who wants to move powerfully through the world, no longer using his compensations as a crutch to appear strong, but rather wants to know how he can lead with embodied strength by being deeply in contact with who he is. Join men's relationship coach & breathwork teacher Alex Lehmann in raw conversations with world-class leaders in men’s work, relationships, intimacy and embodiment, exploring an integrated path for the modern man.
| How Do I Stop Rejecting Myself? [Coaching Session With Sebastian] | EP 86 | 15 sept. 2026 | 01:13:06 | |
In this coaching session, I had the privilege of sitting down with Sebastian for an in-depth conversation about rejection, the fear of being rejected, and the ways we can end up rejecting ourselves in the process. Our session began with Sebastian sharing a recent encounter with a woman he connected with at a retreat. As we explored what happened, he recognised early on that he was the very person who rejected himself before she ever had the opportunity to do so. Him sharing that experience opened the door to a much deeper pattern within Sebastian, one that had shaped much of his life. Together, we explored the ways Sebastian had learned to present himself throughout his life in order to earn approval, recognition, and acceptance. We traced this pattern back to childhood, including the experiences that taught him that distinct aspects of himself, such as his softness, love, and vulnerability, were not welcome. This became an opportunity to examine the ways he was still meeting himself with rejection, harshness, and the demand to be different. We explored what it could look like to meet fear directly, to be with it, and to reconnect with the parts of himself he had learned to push away. In this coaching session, we explore:
What moved me most was watching Sebastian realise that the very parts of himself he judged the most actually hold some of his greatest sources of strength and power. This episode's for anyone who's spent their life protecting themselves from rejection and fear, without fully recognising the ways they may have been rejecting themselves. — Connect with Alex: ◼ Think we might be a good fit to work together? | Max Trombly: The Patterns Keeping Men Stuck In 'Prince Phase' | EP 85 | 01 sept. 2026 | 01:31:37
Max Trombly is back on Heart of Man, and this one goes deep and gets fiery. We're talking suppressed joy, men staying unconsciously stuck in the Prince phase, why committing to one woman can actually become a source of liberation rather than constraint, and what happens when a man's sexual energy keeps leaking into the pursuit of more. For those who missed our first conversation, Max is a devoted husband, father, and transformational life coach based in New Orleans, guiding men and women toward lives of authentic expression, depth, and fulfilling purpose in relationship. In our first episode together, we explored his own journey out of an unfulfilling marriage and into the clarity that eventually led him to his wife and the family he'd always wanted. Since then, I've had the chance to meet Max and learn from him as part of the Embodied Masculine Leadership Training led by John Wineland, where Max served as one of the lead teachers. That container was transformative for me, and it's part of what brought this conversation into being. At the center of this conversation is a threshold most men never fully cross:
At its core, the Prince is still oriented toward self-development, exploration, and satisfying his own wants. He may be doing plenty of inner work and having meaningful experiences, yet still remains unconsciously focused on himself. And as a result, he can struggle to build something deeper that may actually be what he truly longs for. A relationship he can fully commit to. A life with roots. A family. A meaningful impact. In this conversation, Max makes the case that the way through isn't necessarily through focusing on more: more experience, more variety, more chasing. It's about doing our own deep work, reclaiming our joy, containing our own energy, knowing who we really are, and ultimately becoming willing to commit ourselves fully to what we choose. In this conversation, discover:
I loved sitting with Max in this one. What struck me most about him is his refusal to sugarcoat any of it, and his willingness to boldly speak to what he's seeing. I believe it's that penetrative clarity that made this conversation hit home so deeply. This conversation's for anyone who found themselves stuck in a cycle of chasing experience after experience without feeling fully satisfied, and who is longing to find a path toward something deeper. — Connect with Alex : ◼ Think we might be a good fit to work together? | Who Am I Without The Performer, When There's Nothing Left To Prove? [Coaching Session With Ryan] | EP 84 | 19 août 2026 | 01:31:56
In this coaching session, I have the great pleasure of sitting down with Ryan to explore the weight he's been carrying for over 16 years in his pursuit of performance and achievement. And what was quietly underneath it all was a deep yearning to be seen. To know that he matters and that he is important. Early in our session, Ryan began dropping into the exhaustion and pain of no longer being able to carry the mask he'd built to protect himself from a young age. What we uncovered traced back to Ryan being 15 years old, when he was cut from his football team. Beneath that experience was a deep fear that his father's love was conditional on him remaining the football star. From this event, which left him in shock, he developed a need to perform, chase attention, and prove that he was good enough. His sense of worth became increasingly dependent on being seen, being significant, and being impressive. And while this strategy had served him since he was a teenager, we could clearly see how the protectors we develop early in life eventually become masks that drain us and prevent us from fully being ourselves. Throughout this session, you'll witness the raw and vulnerable experience of Ryan beginning to let go of his mask as I support him on that journey. Here, you see the beautiful and insightful experience of a man dropping the masks that are no longer serving him, stepping into deeper self-leadership, and bringing the different parts of himself into relationship. It was an incredible honour to witness Ryan over this period. In this coaching session, we explore:
I was deeply touched by Ryan's capacity to step so fully and deeply into the session, offering a powerful example of the courage it takes to allow ourselves to be truly seen. If you've ever struggled to show up fully as yourself, or found yourself caught in the exhausting pursuit of proving your worth, I believe this session will absolutely be for you. — Connect with Alex: ◼ Website: https://www.alexlehmann.co ◼ Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/alexlehmann_/ ◼ YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/@heartofmanpodcast ◼ Listen on Apple Podcasts: https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/heart-of-man/id1697289478 ◼ Email: alexlehmanncoaching@gmail.com ◼ Think we might be a good fit to work together? | Rasmus Ingerslev: "No Amount of Success Could Outrun The Pain I Felt" | EP 83 | 03 août 2026 | 01:24:04
"Many men would say I would die for you, but what your kids really need is for you to live for them." These are the moving words from my next guest and dear friend, Rasmus Ingerslev. Rasmus is a Danish entrepreneur who spent three decades building two of Europe's largest health club groups, fitness dk and Fresh Fitness, before founding Wexer Virtual, which serves many of the world's leading club groups. He's chaired IHRSA, the Health and Fitness Association, and has been named one of Denmark's top CEOs. Today, he channels that same drive into his most recent venture, Manhug Coaching, helping men rebuild who they are at their core from the ground up. But underneath the many impressive accolades, accomplishments, and external success is a deep and raw past, from which much of his drive was fuelled. I feel honoured to share this raw conversation with him, going deep into his personal story and exploring the experiences that shaped him, from the 11-year-old boy who wanted to end his life after enduring physical abuse, sexual abuse, and bullying, to the man he's become today. Early on, he instinctively decided that he was the only person he could actually rely on, building an armour first through his physicality and eventually through a business empire. But it was moving through his divorce, where the image of 'having it all' began to fall apart, that finally demanded he go all in on the work he'd spent his whole life trying to outrun. This eventually led him towards the work he offers today, forged within the foundation of extensive psychotherapy, psychedelics, somatic therapy, tantra, and couples work. I first met Rasmus at a tantra retreat three years ago and felt an immediate connection with him, seeing in him a man almost 20 years older who'd lived both the heights of success and the depths of failure, with a deep drive to face the parts of himself he'd long avoided. I feel fortunate to say our connection has only deepened since... In our podcast together, we explore an underlying question that many men rarely ask: "What do you do when you've got everything you thought you wanted and needed, but it doesn't fill the emptiness from within?" In our conversation, discover:
Of all the podcasts I've done, this has been one of my favourites, moving me deeply to tears. As many of you might know, I put a lot of work into my podcast, but if there is one that I really encourage you to watch, it's this one. This episode's for anyone who's done everything imaginable to fill the void from within, but was never able to get the results they were hoping for. | How Self-Reliance Erodes Attraction In Relationship [Coaching Session With Ali] | EP 82 | 22 juil. 2026 | 01:22:35
In this live coaching session, you'll have the opportunity to listen to the challenges Ali is navigating as we explore the loss of connection and attraction in his romantic partnership. What initially looked like a strong circumstantial change that shifted their dynamic turned out to be something completely different, as we explored Ali's contribution to this dynamic. What we discovered is how much of it traces back to difficult experiences he's navigated, through which he has had to adapt and learn how to protect himself. And while it might have supported him at one stage of his life, it was now leading to a breakdown in the closeness he was experiencing with his partner, and the attraction. Discover here how painful experiences with our family can teach us a sense of self-reliance, something I observe with many men, and how ruptures in our connections can lead us to unconsciously distance ourselves from the closeness we actually crave from our partners. If you listen closely, I'd argue that this is going to be a session many of you might be able to relate to... To me, it highlights that powerful leadership isn't just about the ways we lead and direct areas such as the provision for our relationships, but rather, it often begins by honestly assessing the aspects we're quietly carrying that are impacting our connection. This one was for sure a relatable one for me, and I know for many high performers I work with as well. Here you get to discover the vulnerable story of a man who's father tried to take his own life when he was 18, how a five year relationship ended at the height of his addiction, and how his nervous system learned early on that other people's wellbeing was his job and his alone. In this coaching session, find out:
I carry deep respect and appreciation for Ali's willingness to bring this topic so openly to our recorded session. To me, it takes a big man to admit what's not working in the relationship, especially around sensitive topics such as love and attraction, and to have the willingness to examine his part. This episode's for anyone who's built their worth around being the one who's always got themselves, and has never stopped to ask what it might cost them to not allow themselves to need someone. — Connect with Alex: ◼ Website: https://www.alexlehmann.co ◼ Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/alexlehmann_/ ◼ Youtube: https://www.youtube.com/@heartofmanpodcast ◼ LinkedIn: www.linkedin.com/in/alexlehmann-hom ◼ Listen to this conversation on Apple Podcasts and leave a review: https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/heart-of-man/id1697289478 ◼ Email: alexlehmanncoaching@gmail.com ◼ Think we might be a good fit to work together? | Jord Cuiper: When The Fear Of Losing Yourself Becomes Its Own Trap | EP 81 | 08 juil. 2026 | 01:18:31
Jord Cuiper returns, and this one came straight off the back of our last conversation. After a vibrant discussion in our last episode, we had a personal check in, sharing how the experience was for both of us. I shared some honest reflections, and it became clear there was more worth exploring, leading us to this follow up. At the core of this episode we examine the developmental journey that many high achievers and high performers will recognize: First, there's the path of relentless pursuit, often driven by the basic needs we have not yet owned, and the self-protective patterns we have developed along the way. Then comes a second path toward alignment, toward how we feel in the moment, and toward following one's inner truth. But eventually, even that second path can become its own constraint. Because from that place, alignment starts to override one's innate drive toward creation and ambition, but also an honest relationship with reality itself. And it's from that place where the pursuit of the third mountain actually begins, which is what we fundamentally focus on in this interview. For those who have not listened to the last episode, my encouragement is to do so, but it's not a requirement. In this conversation, find out:
This was one of my more personally raw conversations I've had on this podcast, and I'm grateful to Jord for allowing the space for that. This episode's for anyone who's done the deep inner work yet found themselves, somewhere along the way, at war with their own ambition. | Jord Cuiper: The One Thing Stopping You From Actually Changing | EP 80 | 24 juin 2026 | 01:32:33
Jord Cuiper is back for his 2nd round, and this interview feels like a full-circle moment, considering he was part of the first episode I ever published. He's an executive and self-leadership coach with over a decade of experience working with founders, business owners & high-level professionals across the world. As I see it, his work cuts straight to the core of what actually holds people back: ◾ The blind spots they cannot see in themselves, the self-protective patterns they might have built over a lifetime, and the foundational values they've disconnected from. In his own life, Jord founded his first tech company at 24, scaling it from zero to a seven-figure business serving clients across Europe. Then, in 2018, a near-fatal health crisis forced him to step down from the business and confront the aspects of himself that led him to this definitive moment, requiring him to completely rebuild his life from the ground up. And this became the very foundation of the work he provides today... Back in the beginning of 2024, I went through a defining period myself, where my business scaled 2x, and at the same time I was constantly overwhelmed, needing to confront the fact that I was at the brink of burnout, even though I was deeply trained within the understandings of the nervous system. I reached out to him, knowing if someone could help me through this time, it would be him. That led to him becoming my coach over a 16-month period, guiding me toward building a deeper form of self-leadership from the inside out. The shifts I made during that time were foundational, and I carry much of what we built together into my work to this day. In this episode, Jord and I return to the core of his work: Why change is harder than we think, why knowing is never enough, and what it actually takes to stop the pattern and step into something more self-led. In this conversation, we explore:
I loved this conversation with Jord... He's direct, honest, and practically grounded in a way that only comes from having walked one's own path. I hold deep respect for the work he's done on himself and continues to bring to the people he serves. This episode is for anyone who's done the work, listened to the podcasts, attended the circles, yet still feels like something essential has not changed. — Connect with Alex : ◼ Website: https://www.alexlehmann.co ◼ Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/alexlehmann_/ ◼ Youtube: https://www.youtube.com/@heartofmanpodcast ◼ LinkedIn: www.linkedin.com/in/alexlehmann-hom ◼ Listen to this conversation on Apple Podcasts and leave a review: https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/heart-of-man/id1697289478 ◼ Email: alexlehmanncoaching@gmail.com ◼ Think we might be a good fit to work together? | Om Rupani: What She Actually Needs From You That Has Nothing To Do With Being Nice | EP 79 | 10 juin 2026 | 01:17:02
Om Rupani is back for his second round on Heart of Man... And today, I'm very excited to address this exact topic with him through his background in BDSM, which I see is very prevalent in the lives of many men: Nice Guy Syndrome. When I completed his seven day BDSM Fundamentals training last year, it was a transformative experience for me, and one of the first things I recognised was how powerful it was to resolve any remaining remnants of myself still navigating the Nice Guy Mask. On the podcast, we've had Dr. Robert Glover, who wrote the book "No More Mr. Nice Guy," on the show twice. But today, we'll have the opportunity to look at this through the lens of someone who supports individuals every day to become better leaders through the medium of BDSM, which I see offers him a unique perspective. For those who need a refresher: Om Rupani is a teacher, author, and speaker who's been teaching about BDSM, polarity, and man–woman relating for almost 2 decades. He's also the author of Prerequisites to Ecstasy, a no-nonsense guide exploring what it truly takes to create the love and intimacy we say we want. Today, his work focuses on helping men embody their masculinity with confidence and depth, supporting women in cultivating passionate, harmonious relationships with their men, and guiding singles and couples to consciously integrate elements of BDSM into their intimacy. In this conversation, Om and I explore:
I thoroughly enjoyed this conversation with Om and this work touchrs directly on what so many men don't recognize they're carrying: the identity they feel required to uphold in order to be seen as worthy, feel safe, and get their needs met. Please note this conversation might be triggering to some of you, as this work was initially with me. Whether you agree or not, my encouragement is to stay open and notice what arises within you. Over time, that very approach has supported me in discovering deeper truth about what I value, what I care about, and who I am. This episode is for anyone who's spent years performing goodness while quietly suppressing who they actually are, and who is ready to stop letting the fear of disapproval run their life. | Igor Kufayev: Why So Many Men Feel Lost And How They Can Find Their Way Back | EP 78 | 26 mai 2026 | 01:47:09
Igor Vamadeva Kufayev is an artist, spiritual master and teacher whose work is dedicated to the potential inherent in human birth. Following a radical transformation of consciousness and the spontaneous unfolding of grace in his mid-thirties, culminating in a fully embodied Self-recognition, he has since served as a conduit of transmission for awakening into the new era of heart-centered consciousness. His live gatherings, extended programmes known as immersions, are renowned for their intensity, clarity and catalytic potential. Drawing from Tantric Śaivism, direct energetic transmission and somatic integration, his work offers a compelling contribution to contemporary understanding of spiritual evolution. Originally trained as a painter, Igor bridges scholarship, poetic articulation and lived realisation. Today, he is the author of Camatkāra: The Hidden Path (2023) and KUṆḌALINĪ: The Goddess as the Power of Self-Recognition in Tantric Śaivism (2026). As a householder and family man, Igor is lovingly raising his three children with his partner Amrita Ma Devi. He continues to guide an international community of practitioners, developing frameworks for exploring the fullest potential of awakened embodiment. We come together for this conversation at a time when the challenges facing men seem more pressing than ever. And as I see it, the crisis men are navigating today runs deeper than most conversations are willing to explore. The loss of rites of passage, masculine mentorship, the living transmission of what it means to be a man. These aren't things that can be recovered through surface level approaches. They require a deeper reckoning. In this episode, Igor and I explore:
I found myself deeply touched and enlivened by this conversation with Igor... What I experienced in him was something deeply rare: the quality of a man who has been tested by life at every level and has remained open hearted. | Gil "the Grid" Gomes Leal: What Your Anger Is Actually Covering Up | EP 77 | 13 mai 2026 | 01:32:22
Disclaimer: Due to a studio change and some equipment issues, the audio quality in this episode isn't what you're used to from Heart of Man. My team has done the best with what we had. I can however say with absolute confidence, the conversation itself was worth every minute. I hope you feel the same. Gil 'the Grid' Gomes Leal is the founder and artistic director of the Amenti dance collective and creator of the Amenti MoveMeant method. As a choreographer, performer, and movement teacher drawing from hip hop, African embodiment, Jungian psychology, and shadow work, Gil now incorporates movement as a form of medicine, connecting others to the inherent wisdom of their body. Gil grew up inside a Jehovah's Witness household in Rotterdam, where the joy, freedom, and expression he found through dance became a direct threat to his sense of belonging... It was within those early years of tension between attachment and his authentic expression that the foundation of everything he now teaches was laid... Through workshops, immersions, and trainings, Gil works alongside the Amenti collective with individuals to access their innate intelligence, guiding them towards deeper empowerment and healing of incomplete past experiences. I attended one of Amenti's workshops in Bali last year and was struck, as a somatic practitioner myself, by the potent places I got to access through this movement method. At the core of this conversation is a question Gil and I keep returning to:
We explore how this can be reclaimed through movement, shadow work, and the willingness to stop identifying as a victim of our story and start taking responsibility for it. In this episode, find out:
I loved this conversation with Gil, and admire the way he was fuelled by his own pain, making incredible art out of it that individuals worldwide now get to benefit from. This episode is for anyone who has spent years feeling like life is happening to them, and is ready to step into the truth that it no longer has to. — Connect with Alex Lehmann: 🌐 Website: https://www.alexlehmann.co/ 📸 Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/alexlehmann_ 🎥 Youtube: https://www.youtube.com/@heartofmanpodcast 💼 LinkedIn: www.linkedin.com/in/alexlehmann-hom 🎧 Listen to this conversation on Apple Podcasts and leave a review: https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/heart-of-man/id1697289478 ✉️ Email: alexlehmanncoaching@gmail.com 🤝Think we might be a good fit to work together? | Charles Myssy: Shadow Work, Self-Sabotage & Breaking Free From The Patterns Running Your Life | EP 76 | 29 avr. 2026 | 01:41:57
Charles Myssy is a Shadow Alchemist, facilitator, and founder of Shadow Mastery Institute, an international organization guiding people through somatic shadow work, archetypal exploration, and inner child integration. In his work, he guides people into the parts of themselves they have long avoided, supporting them to move from unconscious pattern and protective armor into integrated, embodied wholeness. While many know Charles through his widely popular social media content and humor, few know the version of him from which all of it originated. The one who grew up in scarcity... Who watched his mother fight to keep it all together as the sole provider... Who took on the weight of the household as the sole masculine figure before he had any idea what that weight meant... The absence of a father whose acceptance and recognition he deeply craved... By the time he was old enough to understand the impact these experiences had on him, he'd already spent years building a version of himself designed to make sure it never happened again, leading to years of armoring, anger, of building himself into someone the world couldn't hurt again. Eventually, this led him down the journey of going back to reclaim that what got left behind. In our conversation together, we examine Charles's journey from the wounds of his past toward his own shadow integration, and what that process of reclamation truly demands of a man. At the center of this conversation is a question Charles and I have both lived from the inside out: what happens to the parts of us that were too painful to be seen? And what becomes possible when we finally stop running? In this conversation, Charles and I explore:
I thoroughly enjoyed this conversation with Charles... What drew me to his work initially was how he used the medium of humor and entertainment to bring these truths to light. What I found underneath was a sincere, caring, and deeply committed man, and I hold deep respect for the path he has walked to bring this work into the world. | Nora Wendel: When The Chase For Freedom Turns Into Loneliness | EP 75 | 16 avr. 2026 | 01:14:56
"The freedom lifestyle promises liberation, adventure, authenticity, connection on your own terms... It sounded perfect, and for a while it was. But here's what it actually delivered: freedom and profound loneliness, options and an inability to choose, movement and nowhere that feels like home." These are the words written by my next guest, Nora Wendel, in an Instagram post that went viral a few months ago... When I first read it, it stopped me in my tracks, because it named something I had been watching play out around me for years and had never heard said quite so directly. With an MSc in Psychology, today Nora operates in the field of applied social and relational psychology, supporting individuals in coming into a deeper sense of belonging, community, and connection. She's been initiated into this work through her own lived experience of these struggles... Born to European parents and raised across multiple countries, such as Nepal, India, the UK, and Indonesia, the question of where do I belong, where is home for me, was a lived struggle she had to move through herself. Today, she leads with the understanding that home, belonging, and community are not a given but something that has to be consciously chosen and built. It's that lived experience that now sits at the heart of everything she teaches. I reached out to Nora after seeing that post, wanting to examine with her the development of the freedom lifestyle, what it's costing us in the process, and how to bring deeper intentionality towards what we want to create. In this conversation, Nora and I dive into:
This interview examines subjects that have not been addressed in this way before on this show... Belonging. Loneliness. And the quiet cost of a life built solely around freedom. | Connor Beaton: The Hidden Wound Behind High-Performers (And How It Sabotages Self-Worth) | EP 74 | 01 avr. 2026 | 01:26:36
Connor Beaton is the founder of "ManTalks", an international men's mental health organization, the host of "ManTalks", and the author of the best-selling book "Men's Work: A Practical Guide to Face Your Darkness, End Self-Sabotage, and Find Freedom". Through his 1:1 work, his courses, and the Alliance, his private men's community, Connor has spent over a decade helping men face the hidden parts of themselves that quietly run their lives. But Connor didn't come to this work through theory... For years, he performed the man he thought he needed to be: charming, capable, put together on the outside. On the inside, he was running. Eventually, it all collapsed... He found himself sleeping in his car, alone with everything he'd been hiding, and realized he had two options:
He chose to talk. And that choice eventually became "ManTalks"... In my own journey of masculine development, Connor has been one of the most influential voices. Having him here on "Heart of Man" has truly been a dream since the very beginning of this show. One of the central themes of this conversation is self-worth... We explore how self-esteem is performance based. It rises and falls with what you do and how well you do it. Self-worth is something deeper. It is the understanding that you have value simply because you exist. Not because you earned it or proved it, but because it was never conditional in the first place. And yet for so many men, this knowing is missing... In its place is what Connor calls dark motivation: using shame, self-loathing, and fear as fuel to keep pushing forward. You build the business. You reach the top. And you feel nothing. Because the internal foundation was never built on genuine worth. In this conversation, Connor and I dive into:

| Alison Armstrong: Why Chemistry Isn’t Enough In Relationships: The Truth About Attraction, Sex And Lasting Love | EP 73 | 17 mars 2026 | 01:17:53 | |
Alison Armstrong is back for her third round on Heart of Man, and it continues to be a real honor to learn from this woman whose work has deeply shaped the way I understand men, women, partnership, and the often hidden dynamics that govern our relationships. For those who may not yet know her, Alison has been teaching and speaking about men, women, human behavior, and relationships for over three decades. Through her seminars, books, online programs, and media contributions, she has given millions of people access to more fulfilling lives, loving relationships, stronger families, and more productive organizations. In our first conversation, we explored a man’s relationship to shame... In the second, we explored the stages of development within a man... And in this third dialogue, we turn toward one of the most charged and important territories of all: how men and women come together in romantic partnership, and what happens when sexuality, protection, and provision enter the field... At the heart of this conversation is Alison’s framing of our instinctual responses, not simply as procreate, protect, and provide, but more accurately as procreate first, then protect, then provide. From there, we begin to unpack what tends to happen when chemistry leads the way, when sexuality is used to meet deeper unmet needs, and why so many people end up bringing out the worst in one another while actually longing for love, safety, connection, and partnership. In this episode, discover:
This was a deeply rich and valuable conversation, one that brought us into some of my favorite territories to explore: man-woman relating, relationships, sex, and purpose. Alison continues to offer a level of clarity that I find both humbling and incredibly insightful, and I trust that this conversation will give you much to reflect on in your own life and relationships. | Eli Buren: The Cultivated Man – Why Breath, Posture, And Awareness Matter Now More Than Ever | EP 72 | 03 mars 2026 | 00:58:20
Eli Buren returns to Heart of Man for his second round, inviting us into a deeper note around what it truly means to be a cultivated man in a time of rising disconnection. For those who have not listened to our first conversation, Eli is a teacher, martial artist, and guide whose work bridges self-discovery and rigorous embodied training. His path is rooted in decades of experiential practice that extends beyond theory. Through breath, movement, martial forms, meditation, and relational presence, he guides men into the lived experience of awareness in the body, not as an idea but as a discipline. Since we last spoke two years ago, Eli shares his journey of stepping more deeply into fatherhood, an initiation that has refined his relationship to presence, devotion, and responsibility. From there, we explore what it means to mature as a man, not by trying to eliminate our conditioning, but by learning to recognize it, create space from it, and train new capacities in breath, body, and awareness. In this conversation, discover:
As I see it, this conversation is not about becoming a different man... In his own way, Eli brings us back to the fundamentals that cannot be outsourced or optimized: your body, your breath, your awareness. If you currently feel stretched by responsibility, pressure, or the weight of expectation, and you are done chasing and ready to cultivate, this episode is for you. | Ryan Moresby-White: The Hidden Grief That Sabotages Men In Relationships And How To Become An Emotionally Safe Man | EP 71 | 19 févr. 2026 | 01:49:10
Ryan Moresby-White returns for his second appearance on Heart of Man. And this time, we explore what it truly takes for a man to become emotionally safe, grounded, and self-led. As a men's coach and founder of the Heal The Boy Institute, his work centers on helping men mature psychologically and emotionally so the younger parts of us no longer drive the bus in our relationships, our work, and our lives. In our first conversation, we explored the foundations of boy psychology, emotional immaturity, and the root causes behind why so many men today operate from these younger imprints. This time, we go deeper into the terrain underneath it all that demands our attention: Grief. The willingness to grieve the pain of our past. The losses we have experienced. The parts of us that have never known love. What we hoped for, longed for, and needed yet never received. And in those places, developing the kind of inner fortitude that demands us to stay present when life cracks us open. Ryan speaks openly about how the most disruptive force in many men’s lives is often the little boy inside them trying to get his needs met through control, collapse, avoidance, or emotional hunger. We explore why awareness alone rarely creates change, and why real transformation requires entering the cave of grief and allowing the body to feel what never had the space to be felt. We unpack how relationships become the initiations many men never received, and how a man’s capacity to grieve and carry these younger aspects is directly tied to his ability to be present, grounded, and emotionally safe with a woman. We examine how men are wounded in relationship and how our healing also happens in relationship when held with discernment. What belongs in partnership and what belongs in brotherhood. What we bring to our partners and what ought to be metabolized in circle with other men. In this conversation, discover:
This is a raw and deeply practical conversation about emotional leadership, nervous system maturity, and how a man can shepherd his younger parts so they do not bleed into love in destructive ways. This episode is for any man ready to stop letting his younger parts run the show, stop outsourcing his wholeness to a relationship, and start meeting life from a deeper place of truth, maturity, and grounded love. | Living With Purpose And Meaning When Achievement No Longer Fulfills You [Founders Series With Bjoern Keune] | EP 70 | 12 févr. 2026 | 01:26:58
What does it take for a men to return to what is real, aligned, and alive in him, instead of chasing the success, admiration, or approval he hopes will finally make him feel enough and at ease in his own life? Within the world of leaders and business owners, many of the men I work with have climbed what we would describe as their first mountain... They pursued external success, achieved milestones, and reached the very things our culture rewards. Yet somewhere along the way, a humbling truth emerges: The freedom, love, approval, or peace they hoped to feel never lasts. And they find themselves standing with everything they once wanted, yet feeling empty or restless inside. This is the moment they arrive at a crossroads. The old strategies no longer work, yet the clarity or direction how to climb their second mountain has not arrived. A mountain connected to their deeper nature, guided by what feels alive and aligned, offering a far more sustainable way to experience fulfillment than the achievement driven path that came before. In this conversation, Bjoern and I explore this crossroads in a grounded, practical way, the space between the life a man has built and the life he actually wants. In This Episode You Will Discover:
At its core, this episode offers a clear, grounded pathway for men who have reached or pursued success yet still feel a quiet restlessness inside. A pathway toward building a life that feels meaningful, guided by authentic expression rather than performance or proving. A form of leadership rooted in inner alignment, presence, and truth. If you are a man who is tired of working harder at the things that no longer work, who feels something deeper calling you forward, or who wants clarity on the next chapter of your life, I trust this episode will meet you where you are. — Connect with Alex Lehmann: 🌐 Join the first cohort of our upcoming co-led group membership, "The Integrated Founder Circle": https://www.alexlehmann.co/theintegratedfoundercircle 🌐 Website: https://www.alexlehmann.co/ 📸 Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/alexlehmann_ 🎥 Youtube: https://www.youtube.com/@heartofmanpodcast 💼 LinkedIn: www.linkedin.com/in/alexlehmann-hom 🎧 Listen to this conversation on Apple Podcasts and leave a review: https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/heart-of-man/id1697289478 ✉️ Email: alexlehmanncoaching@gmail.com 🤝Think we might be a good fit to work together? | The Integrated Man: Moving Beyond The Nice Guy And Disconnected Leadership [Founders Series With Bjoern Keune] | EP 69 | 22 janv. 2026 | 01:28:59
What does it really mean to be an integrated man? And why does this question matter for founders and high performing men today? In this episode, Bjoern and I explore a subject many men are quietly wrestling with, often without fully realizing it:
Very few of us had meaningful experiences that clarified what being a man means to us personally, the values we choose, the virtues we stand for, and the standards we hold ourselves to. At the same time, most men have absorbed direct and indirect messages about what is acceptable for a man to feel, show, or express. Some men grew up with overpowering masculine influences or dominant father figures and, in response, learned to reject parts of themselves. They disconnected from instinctual qualities like assertiveness, direction, boldness, and desire. Others adapted in the opposite direction. They learned early in life that vulnerability, gentleness, or softness were unsafe, so they built a persona rooted in control, performance, and emotional armoring. This left them disconnected from inner qualities like openness, receptivity, and emotional connection. And so, without a clear framework, many men default to performing masculinity rather than actually embodying what is true and real for them. In this episode, discover:
This conversation is for any man who wants to walk the path of integration, to lead with strength while keeping his heart open. It is for the man who is done performing or hiding and is ready to step into who he truly is. And for the man who senses there is a more truthful way to live and lead, one that honors his unique nature in his work, in his relationships, and in the way he moves through the world. | From Sexual Disconnection To Sexual Integrity: A Journey Into Wholeness, Vitality & Connection [Founders Series With Bjoern Keune] | EP 68 | 10 janv. 2026 | 01:30:18
How does a man build a relationship with his sexuality that feels integral and aligned with who he truly is? And what does it take for founders and high performers to move from secrecy, compulsion, and shame into a place of integrity and emotional clarity in their intimate lives? In this conversation, Bjoern and I explore a subject many founders and leaders wrestle with quietly, often in isolation. We look at how, within the entrepreneurial world, many men carry internal conflict, shame, or secrecy around their sexuality. For many founders and high performers, the harder they chase external achievement at the cost of themselves and their relationships, the more disconnected they consequently become from their emotional life, their needs, and their deeper self. In this episode, discover:
At its core, this episode is about transforming the way we relate to our sexuality as men. It is a journey of reclaiming the potency sexuality holds and integrating it into your life in a grounded and aligned way. It is about maturing in the places where unhealed parts still drive the show, taking responsibility for your shadows, and bringing more clarity, depth, and safety into your intimate life and into your leadership, allowing you to feel more peace, more passion, and more potency. In this episode, we explore a subject where the rubber truly meets the road for so many founders I work with... Men who lead teams, inspire others, and move entire organizations forward, yet quietly struggle to create the depth and satisfaction they long for in their romantic relationships. The truth is, most of us never learned the skills, tools, or principles needed to thrive in relationship. And for founders especially, the very traits that drive success in business are often the same traits that limit us in love, intimacy, and honest relating. At the same time, our earliest imprints of love shape how we relate as adults, often unconsciously. Without realizing it, we rely on the same strategies that once kept us safe, the patterns that earned us connection, approval, or belonging growing up. And over time, these strategies begin to recreatethe very challenges we faced in childhood. Eventually, this leads to a breakdown of safety and trust. The spark fades. Intimacy becomes inconsistent. Communication turns surface-level. And many founders discover how this bleeds into their work, their clarity, their presence, and their ability to lead. In this conversation, Bjoern and I explore what keeps founders stuck in love and intimacy. In this episode, discover:
At its core, this episode offers a roadmap for founders and high performing men to lead with authenticity, steadiness, and heart. To show up in heated moments without collapsing, to listen without losing themselves, and to offer direction while honoring their partner’s experience. To become a man whose presence creates safety, intimacy, and connection, in romantic relating and in every area of life. If you are a man who has developed himself professionally yet struggles in relationship, and you long to feel more rooted, open, and present in love and intimacy, I trust this episode will meet you where you are. | From Emotional Numbness To Emotional Leadership [Founders Series With Bjoern Keune] | EP 66 | 25 déc. 2025 | 01:40:43
What is the real value of founders, leaders and high-performing men being in close contact with their emotions? And how can becoming aware of what’s happening inside of us, and learning to lead ourselves through it, not weaken our leadership but actually strengthen it over time? Welcome back to this episode in the Founders Series, a 6-part journey exploring the challenges founders, business professionals, and high performing men face today, and supporting them in evolving from high functioning stress into embodied and integrated leadership. A form of leadership that allows you to stay clear and calm under pressure by aligning who you are with how you lead. In this conversation, Bjoern and I explore a common issue we see among many high performing men:
For many, success has come at the cost of losing touch with their bodies and shutting down their emotional experience. Most of us were taught that strength means staying in control and not showing weakness or humanness. Over time, this didn’t make us stronger. It hardened us. It built emotional armor that keeps us functioning, but prevents us from being deeply connected to ourselves or others. So we avoid asking for help. We avoid receiving support. And we look for ways to manage the emotional intensity that leadership naturally brings. The cost of emotional avoidance is high: It disconnects us from the signals of our own body and from meaningful intimacy. It burns us out. It leaves us feeling flat or numb, chasing hits of aliveness through work, achievement, substances, or validation. And in relationships, we often project what we haven’t dealt with onto partners, teams, or the business itself, creating rupture and disconnection. In this conversation, find out:
This conversation is for any man who values effectiveness as a leader and wants to step out of the paradigm he has beenconditioned into. It is for the man who wants to feel more alive, more connected, and more grounded in who he truly is. If you’ve been feeling numb, overwhelmed, or disconnected from your inner world, or if you simply sense that more is available for you, I trust that this episode will speak directly to you. | Why High-Functioning Leaders Break Under Pressure [Founders Series With Bjoern Keune] | EP 65 | 19 déc. 2025 | 01:54:45
Many founders carry pressure, heaviness, and expectations that few people ever see... And even after everything they’ve built, many feel disconnected from themselves, unsure how to lead in ways that feel honest, aligned, and true. Today, I’m excited to introduce a project that feels deeply meaningful to me: The Founders Series, a six-part podcast series created with my close friend, Bjoern Keune. This series speaks directly to the challenges founders, business professionals, and high-performing men face today. It’s designed to support a shift from high-functioning stress into embodied and integrated leadership, where clarity and centeredness are possible even under pressure. The inspiration began in August, when Bjoern and I led a workshop for founders in Berlin. It quickly became clear how naturally our approaches complemented each other. While my background is in embodied coaching, somatic work, and group facilitation, Bjoern brings over fifteen years of entrepreneurial experience, along with his work as a mentor, advisor, and investor, grounded in years of practice in Zen meditation. It became clear how naturally our approaches complemented each other... In my coaching practice, I’ve come to intimately understand the inner challenges high performing men face. And Bjoern understands them from the inside out, having lived through many of the same pressures. Together, we share a clear and embodied perspective on what founders actually need. What became undeniable is how many founders are still operating in the dark: They carry the intensity of leadership without knowing how to work with it or ask for support... They struggle to remain true to themselves when things get difficult... Relationships suffer, both in business and at home... And many feel disconnected from their worth, wellbeing, and deeper sense of purpose... This founder series was created to offer a new path forward. Our first conversation explores how to lead in ways that don’tcreate more pressure or disconnection, but instead bring us closer to ourselves and to each other. In this episode, you’ll find out:
For the past two months, this has been the project Bjoern and I have been building, and I’m genuinely excited to now share it with you. If you’re a man that wants to lead differently, with more clarity, integrity, and presence, this series is for you. | Chris Marhefka: When Life Breaks You Open – How Men Can Lead Themselves Through Life’s Hardest Transitions | EP 64 | 16 déc. 2025 | 01:33:00
Chris Marhefka is a Master Coach, worldwide retreat facilitator, and co-founder of the men’s movement "Thirteen Pines". He also hosts the "Fully Expressed" Podcast, alongside his work as an investor and speaker. As an experienced entrepreneur, Chris has grown and exited several six- and seven-figure companies. For over a decade, he lived the life of a serial entrepreneur, building businesses and chasing his definition of success at the time. All of this came to an abrupt halt after he experienced a stress-induced brain injury. .. What initially appeared to be a physical breakdown became a turning point that reshaped his entire life. During his recovery, Chris developed a deep mindfulness practice and began asking more honest questions about the life he was living and the man he wanted to be. That reckoning led him into an initiation that ultimately changed the trajectory of his entire life. Over the past eight years, Chris has immersed himself in emotional healing, trauma facilitation, somatic work, breathwork, relational coaching, masculine embodiment, and leadership development. He has since worked with over 2,000 clients across physical, mental, emotional, energetic, and spiritual domains, supporting men in becoming more grounded, capable, and fully expressed. In this conversation, we explore:
At the heart of this conversation is a deeper inquiry into how we meet moments of breakdown in our lives... And how these moments, when met honestly and with sincerity, can become the ground for a more truthful, embodied, and mature expressions of who we are. This is a powerful conversation for any man navigating a transition, questioning his identity, or sensing that life is asking more of him. | Michael Holt: The Path Of Integrated Masculinity: Cultivating The Savage & The Saint Within | EP 63 | 03 déc. 2025 | 01:17:22
Michael Holt is a holistic health expert, masculine vitality specialist, and martial artist whose work sits at the intersection of holistic health, meditation, and awakened masculine leadership. As the founder of the internationally renowned "Savage & Saint Collective", Michael serves elite performers in the cultivation of vitality, depth of consciousness, and performance excellence. His extensive background in meditation, martial arts, western psychology, core shamanism, holistic health, and exercise science comes together to form a unique approach that is trusted by top executives, founders, athletes, artists, and entertainers around the world. As I got deeper into Michael’s work, I was struck by how naturally it aligns with a truth I’ve come to know in my own life: The masculine path requires our capacity to cultivate range and develop fluency in complementary opposing qualities, in Michael’s terms, the Savage and the Saint... Simply put, the Savage is the part of us that is primal, instinctual, disciplined, relentless, and willing to meet and move through challenge. The Saint is the part of us that is awake, conscious, devoted, and anchored in truth, love, and a deep acceptance of each moment. In his work, Michael does not teach men to choose one or the other. He teaches them to integrate both, to train the body and sharpen the mind, to soften the heart and expand awareness, so a man can govern himself fully and live with clarity, direction, and depth. In his own life, he has forged a path that unmistakably reflects the depth of this integration. From decades of martial arts, qigong, and meditative practice, to years of guiding men through embodiment, discipline, and peak performance, Michael has developed a unique framework that helps men become dangerous and safe, powerful and compassionate, structured and spiritually awake. In this high-paced conversation between the two of us, we explore:
This was a potent and energizing conversation with a man who has spent countless hours honing his craft and dedicating himself to supporting men in becoming more integrated, grounded, and fully expressed in their masculine essence. If you’re a man seeking more masculine range, vitality, & inner peace, I trust this episode will land deeply. | René Schwarzgruber: From Boy Psychology To Mature Masculinity: A Journey Into Embodied Manhood | EP 62 | 18 nov. 2025 | 01:32:13
René Schwarzgruber is a Relationship Coach, Facilitated Breath Repatterning Practitioner, and Co-Founder of "ReallyAlign". Growing up in a small town in Austria, Rene initially followed the traditional western path, building a career in banking, yet deep down he knew that there was something more for him... In his mid-20's, he took a leap of faith, leaving behind his stable life, moving to Norway with his then partner, and beginning to travel. His journey led him to co-found "Life is a Beach Party", where he spent over a decade creating experiences for 1000's of young travelers across the globe. Over the years, René began to wake up to the hidden costs of the life he had built, acknowledging how he'd been defined by the chase for pleasure, validation, and approval, and the avoidance of responsibility and discomfort... Eventually, life began to knock on his door through numerous challenges, calling him into deeper maturity and out of the frame of boy psychology that had, in many ways, been dictating his life. This time of introspection, led him down a journey of discovery, healing, embodiment, and emotional awareness. Eventually, his journey brought him to Bali, where I met him back in 2023 as he stepped into the same Breathwork Facilitator Training I had completed a few years prior... Through this work and his personal breakthroughs, René stepped into a new purpose of supporting others through embodied coaching, and breathwork. This calling led him to step out of his travel company and birth his current venture, "ReallyAlign", a company dedicated to helping entrepreneurs release stress, reconnect with themselves, and step into deeper alignment. René and I reconnected again a few months ago, unexpectedly sharing some raw truths about our first interactions with each other. This led to a powerful discussion, unpacking the conditioned beliefs we both still carried, the fears that still existed, and through that rawness, confirming the values that we both hold so dear: being solid, integrated men, cultivating meaningful relationships, and supporting others to step out from behind the masks of everyday life into deeper alignment. This led me to want to invite him on the show, and this conversation surely didn't dissapoint, where you'll discover:

| Dr. Robert Glover: Why "Nice Guys" Struggle To Create Attraction (And What Actually Works) | EP 61 | 06 nov. 2025 | 01:28:05 | |
Dr. Robert Glover is back for his second round on Heart of Man... For anyone not yet familiar with his work, Dr. Glover is a renowned therapist, speaker, and coach, and the author of the best-selling book "No More Mr. Nice Guy". Over the last four decades, he's been shedding light on what he calls Nice Guy Syndrome and has helped countless men across the globe in life, sex, and relating. In that time he has authored four books and, in 2023, founded "Integration Nation", an international community for men. After participating alongside Robert at a five-day men’s retreat with John Wineland in Northern California, I invited him back for a second conversation. Since we laid the foundations in our first episode around Nice Guy Syndrome and why Nice Guys struggle in love and life, I wanted to focus this time on dating and attraction, especially given Dr. Glover’s widely popular book "Dating Essentials for Men". In this conversation we specifically explore what leads women to lose attraction to “Nice Guys,” and how men can lead more powerfully in dating and keep the spark alive in their current relationships. In this interview discover:

| How Can I Overcome Self-Sabotage And Rebuild Self-Trust? [Coaching Session With Artur] | EP 60 | 27 oct. 2025 | 01:20:36 | |
Over the years of being a fellow podcast listener myself, I’ve received immense benefit from listening to coaches and practitioners I’ve been inspired by offering anonymous coaching sessions to their listeners. Every time I tuned in, I found these sessions to be an incredible opportunity to get to know myself on a deeper level. And while the content of what might be occurring for someone is unique to them, the themes that are addressed are, in my eyes, universal. Themes that we all need to face and work through... Whether it’s moving through self-sabotage, overcoming anxiety, finding forgiveness, accepting ourselves for who we are, or learning to lead ourselves better. To offer you deeper context of my world outside of being a podcaster, and to give you a glimpse into my work as a coach and somatic practitioner, I decided to periodically release these experiences, where I guide someone through a process of the work I offer in-person, which includes a 1-hour coaching session and a 1-hour breathwork journey. In this session, you’ll have the opportunity to listen to the challenges Artur is navigating as we explore themes of self-sabotage, self-trust, and self-leadership. Like many men I work with, Artur wanted to address the blocks holding him back from doing the work he deeply wants to step into, moving past patterns of self-sabotage. After a few minutes of investigation, and directing my curiosity toward his experience, we oriented our session around his internal world, something I commonly do within these sessions. What Artur ended up finding was a surprise to him, as he was completely oblivious to the blind spots right in front of him. If you listen closely, I would argue that this is going to be a session many of you might be able to relate to... It highlights that self-leadership isn’t just about the execution of our task lists or the actions we want to take, but rather, it often begins by being there for ourselves in the moments that are silently demanding it. This one was for sure a relatable one for me, and I know for many high performers I work with as well. If you enjoyed this style of podcast and found value in it, my encouragement is to let me know: reach out, leave a comment or give the podcast a 5-star rating to show it some extra love. If you’ve been a listener of this show for a while, you’ll know that I truly do my best to offer a platform that brings genuine value, consistently demanding excellence of myself in the process. And the reason why is because I genuinely care and I want men to succeed. My aspiration is to create the kind of roadmap I wish I had when I was walking through the thick of it on my own journey. I hope you enjoy this one. | Om Rupani: What BDSM Can Teach Us About Becoming Better Leaders | EP 59 | 14 oct. 2025 | 01:31:46
Om Rupani is a teacher, author, and speaker who’s been teaching about BDSM, polarity, and man–woman relating for almost 2 decades. He’s also the author of Prerequisites to Ecstasy, a no-nonsense guide exploring what it truly takes to create the love and intimacy we say we want. Today, his work focuses on helping men embody their masculinity with confidence and depth, supporting women in cultivating passionate, harmonious relationships with their men, and guiding singles and couples to consciously integrate elements of BDSM into their intimacy. Integral to his teachings are explorations of the Dom and Sub archetypes as a pathway to greater self-knowledge and erotic depth. Om deeply believes that a thriving erotic life sits at the heart of a fulfilling partnership. Through his integrated approach, courses, and workshops, he helps men and women explore and embody their Eros in all its nuance, depth, and expression, guiding them to build relationships that are not only functional and thriving, but erotically alive. I first came into contact with Om’s work earlier this year. Even though I was completely new to the world of BDSM, reading his book and listening to his podcast gave me a felt sense that this field might offer an access point to expand my capacity for greater leadership and depth. And all I can say is that the impact his training had on me was both surprising and deeply inspiring. That experience led me to invite him into this conversation, exploring how BDSM can help us become better leaders. In our interview, we explore:
This is the first time on the podcast that we touch on the realms of BDSM and kink, and I understand that this can bring up curiosity, or even resistance, for some listeners. My encouragement, as always, is to stay open and notice what arises within you. In my own life, this is how I’ve approached many fields of work that, at first, felt confronting yet sparked my curiosity at the same time. Over time, that approach has supported me in discovering deeper truth about what I value, what I care about, and who I am. | David Chambers: What Makes Us Pull Away From Love And How To Choose Connection | EP 58 | 30 sept. 2025 | 01:19:50
David Chambers is a Dating, Relationship, and Intimacy Coach who has spent the last decade guiding men into creating the love, sex, and connection they long for by helping them cultivate authenticity, emotional intelligence, and self-leadership. His work today invites men to drop the masks of performance and step into a truer way of relating—one where intimacy, attraction, and deep connection can naturally emerge from who they really are. But David didn’t come to this work through theory... This path was shaped by his own lived experiences. After years of painful relationships, years of chasing validation through meaningless sex, and a deep fear of commitment, he found himself disconnected from the very love and joy he longed for. The breaking point came during a world trip, after another painful breakup in Bolivia... What could have been just another collapse instead became a defining turning point. David committed to a journey of self-discovery, healing, and growth that reshaped his entire understanding of masculinity, intimacy, and what it truly means to love well. Through this path, he shed the weight of stereotypes and societal expectations he learned of what a “real man” should be. He discovered that sharing his feelings doesn't have to be a sign of weakness but an act of courage, that authentic vulnerability creates deeper connection, and that our imperfection make us human and relatable. It was this commitment towards transformation that now fuels his work with men:

I found this to be a deeply raw & wide-ranging dialogue, and I’m grateful for David’s honesty and lived experience in demonstrating how we can challenge our old narratives and imprints of love, relationships, and what it means to be a man, in order to create connections that feel safe, authentic, connected, and alive. | Adeyemi Adeyosoye: Why Men Need To Let Go Of Control To Find Embodied Power | EP 57 | 17 sept. 2025 | 01:13:53
Adeyemi Adeyosoye is a transformational coach and spiritual teacher whose work bridges the realms of business, energy, and men’s activation. With a foundation in Mechanical Engineering and business, Adeyemi once built a successful career driving company growth and chasing the external markers of success. At one stage, he landed the career opportunity of a lifetime, was in a loving relationship, and appeared to have everything he had ever wanted. But behind the surface, he felt increasingly empty, out of alignment with himself, his purpose, and his own truth. That disconnection led him to a breaking point, where the life he had built began to crumble. In the search for answers, he turned his attention to the formative years that shaped him, marked by abuse, suppression, and the pain of feeling like a black sheep. He realized he had learned to cope by chasing achievement, money, and external validation. But as everything began to crumble, he chose to face the pain he had been carrying, and that choice changed everything for him. Over the last decade, Adeyemi has immersed himself in deep inner work through dozens of psychedelic journeys, Tantra, sexual activation, inner child healing, and embodiment work. Through these explorations, he began unravelingthe pain he had carried, the disconnection, shame, and unworthiness, and discovered a pathway back to intimacy, fulfillment, and purpose. I first met Adeyemi during an intensive with David Deida, and from the first moment I encountered his presence, I knew I would love to have him on the show, and this conversation absolutely did not disappoint. In this fast-paced dialogue, we cover a wide range of topics:
And so much more... One of my favorite moments came toward the final third of our conversation. I experienced this palpable shift. All of a sudden, there was more flow guiding us, more vitality was present, and more play. I encourage you to listen all the way through and notice where that turning point came. I hold deep respect for Adeyemi and the work he’s bringing into the world, and I am confident that his fierce, penetrating presence in this conversation will inspire that same fire that lives inside of you. — Connect with Adeyemi Adeyosoye: Website: https://www.adeyemiadeyosoye.com/ Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/adeyemiadeyosoye Discover more about "Reborn": https://www.joinotherside.com/reborn Discover more about "Otherside" :https://www.joinotherside.com/ — Connect with Alex Lehmann: Website: https://www.alexlehmann.co/ Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/alexlehmann_ Youtube: https://www.youtube.com/@heartofmanpodcast LinkedIn: www.linkedin.com/in/alexlehmann-hom Listen to this conversation on Apple Podcasts and leave a review: https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/heart-of-man/id1697289478 Email: alexlehmanncoaching@gmail.com Think we might be a good fit to work together? | Rainier Wylde: Risking Authenticity Over Performance—Why Failing Better Matters More Than Performing Well | EP 56 | 03 sept. 2025 | 01:28:33
Rainier Wylde is a gifted writer, teacher, and guide known for his direct and insightful approach to some of life’s toughest questions... His work blends wisdom from ancient traditions with a modern understanding of life’s impermanence challenging us to confront our fears, embrace discomfort, and cultivate the strength to stay present to the raw experiences of life. And for the past 20 years, he's been teaching and guiding people through this approach, helping them transform their lives. To me, Rainier is one of those unique men whose very presence feels like a living story. He has lived a life of incredible contrasts: helping businesses at the highest level, then burning them to the ground. He has known both the heights of success and the depths of failure, and he has learned to speak about both with the same raw honesty. He's also a master storyteller, weaving together ancient myth, his personal struggles, and timeless wisdom into reflections that don’t just engage our intellect, but land right in the core of who we are. And he does all of this with a lighthearted, warm, almost childlike approach. He’s a philosopher of love, a guide into authenticity, and a man who has walked through the fire and come back with something to say. What strikes me most about Rainier is not just his wisdom, but his willingness to fail fully, and then turn that same failure into beauty. He reminds us that authenticity is always more powerful than performance, and that the cracks in our lives are often the very places where light and creativity can break through. In our conversation, discover:
And connected throughout our entire conversation, Rainier offers these simple yet profound reminders, like never missing a sunrise, calling us back to the beauty of being alive, and what really matters at the end of the day.I absolutely loved this conversation with Rainier...It was deep, messy, and real. And for me, it was a reminder of what becomes possible when we meet life with truth, humility, and wonder. | Alex Lehmann: What Facing Death Taught Me About Living Fully — A Journey into Authenticity, Transformation & Masculinity | EP 55 [W/ Edward Dangerfield] | 19 août 2025 | 01:37:48
It’s time to share more of my story! This episode is a little different, because this time, I’m the one being interviewed on my own show by my dear friend, Edward Dangerfield. When he reached out a few months ago & suggested this, I didn’t know exactly why or what I was getting myself into... But something in me felt it was the right thing to do. What followed was a deep exploration into me as a man & as a coach: my motivations, my background & the moments that have shaped me most. In this episode discover about:
This conversation has been more raw & unfiltered than many of my other episodes. And as the podcast evolves, I notice the growing desire in myself to keep these dialogues that way. To keep them deep, authentic & even a little messy... I believe this kind of honesty is a rare currency in our fast-paced, ever-changing world & one that so many of us are longing for. So if you’ve ever been curious about the man behind "Heart of Man", this is a great place to start. Moving forward, I want to share more dialogues where I am being interviewed, covering conversations that go deeper into my story, my teachings, & my perspectives on masculinity, transformation, relationships & intimacy. If there’s a topic you’d like me to dive into in a future episode, let me know in the comments or send me a message I hope you enjoy this one as always! — Connect with Alex Lehmann: Website: https://www.alexlehmann.co/ Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/alexlehmann_/ Youtube: https://www.youtube.com/@heartofmanpodcast Listen to this conversation on Apple Podcasts and leave a review: https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/heart-of-man/id1697289478 Email: alexlehmanncoaching@gmail.com Interested in working with me 1:1? | Edward Dangerfield: Facilitated Breath Repatterning [FBR]: The Breathwork Technique That Changed My Life | EP 54 | 05 août 2025 | 02:04:01
Edward Dangerfield is back for his 3rd round on "Heart of Man" And while we’ve explored a wide range of topics in our past conversations, from relationships, to coming home to our bodies, to finding sovereignty and integrity within our own sexual expression, we had yet to come together to explore the core element that first brought us into connection: The breath. Already early on in my work with Edward, I’d often hear him boldly claim,
And over time, I came to see just how true that statement really is. And while there are many forms of breathwork out there, similar to there being different styles of yoga or meditation—of all the practices I’ve explored, none have felt more powerful or life-altering than the innovative and emergent technique of Facilitated Breath Repatterning [FBR], which can be seen as a unique synthesis of breathwork and bodywork that I was trained in over 4 years ago. Within the breathwork world it is common knowledge that certain styles of breathing can help us access non-ordinary states of consciousness, giving space for subconscious material to surface and allowing for the completion of incomplete reflexes and the release of unprocessed emotions. In FBR, however, I had yet to find a modality that systematically focuses on both adjusting breathing mechanics and guiding the movement of breath through the body, something Edward has relentlessly refined over a decade of devoted practice. If you consider that we breathe on average 21,000–26,000 times a day, and if we’ve habitually learned to breathe poorly or in maladaptive ways, this means we’re repeating that poor pattern 1000's of times every single day... But if we can shift the way we breathe subconsciously, the effect on our physical, mental and emotional health, can be profound. In my eyes, it’s absolutely no understatement to say that this practice has been revolutionary in my life. And while I’ve continued to learn from different mentors and teachers over the years, I’ve remained devoted to this practice as the foundational work from which everything else is built. For me, it felt important for us to come together in this way—out of recognition for just how powerful this modality has been for me. I see that a core part of my mission is to support spreading it, and in this conversation, I seek to contribute to that by offering something that does this modality justice. For those who haven’t yet experienced it for themselves. I believe this conversation does just that... — Connect With Edward Dangerfield Website: https://breathworkbali.com/ Instagram (Edward Dangerfield): https://www.instagram.com/edwarddangerfield/ Instagram (Breathwork Bali): https://www.instagram.com/breathworkbali/ — Connect with Alex Lehmann: Website: https://www.alexlehmann.co/ Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/alexlehmann_/ Youtube: https://www.youtube.com/@heartofmanpodcast Listen to this conversation on Apple Podcasts and leave a review: https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/heart-of-man/id1697289478 Email: alexlehmanncoaching@gmail.com Interested in working with me 1:1? | Dr. Peter A. Levine: How The Body Remembers Trauma — And The Journey Of Healing | EP 50 | 11 juin 2025 | 00:48:05
'Trauma is a fact of life. It does not, however, have to be a life sentence. Not only can trauma be healed, but with appropriate guidance and support, it can be transformative' This insight comes from one of the world’s foremost experts on trauma, and a true pioneer in the field: Dr. Peter Levine. He is the developer of Somatic Experiencing®, a groundbreaking, neurobiological approach to trauma healing that he’s spent over 50 years developing. With doctorates in both Biophysics and Psychology, Peter has helped redefine how we understand trauma in the world not as a disorder of the mind, but as a deeply embedded, hyperaroused stress response in the body that calls for a body-oriented approach to healing. His best-known work, Waking the Tiger, has become a classic in the field of trauma and has been published in over 29 languages. He’s also the author of 'Healing Trauma', 'In an Unspoken Voice', 'Trauma and Memory', and his most recent book, An 'Autobiography of Trauma: A Healing Journey' which is a deeply personal look into his life and his journey of overcoming trauma. Dr. Levine’s work has now been taught to over 30,000 therapists in more than 42 countries, he's been recognized with multiple Lifetime Achievement Awards, and he continues to teach and consult internationally. In my interview with Dr. Levine, we explore his core understandings of trauma, debunking the myth that it’s a brain disorder or a psychological weakness. Instead, he frames trauma as the body’s natural response to overwhelming experiences that were never fully processed or completed. We discuss:
Dr. Peter Levine’s work has been absolutely foundational in my own life, helping me understand trauma and how to work through my own personal experiences with chronic anxiety and depression. I see this episode as an important one for any man who’s seeking a deeper understanding of what trauma is, and how to begin orientating back to the body and learning to work with it. It was an absolute honor to speak with someone I consider a true legend in the field. I deeply commend Dr. Levine’s resilience, dedication, courage and his unwavering commitment to bringing these revolutionary insights to the world at a time when few people even understood what trauma was. — Connect with Dr. Peter A. | Alex Grendi: How To Last Longer, Feel Confident, And Lead In The Bedroom | EP 49 | 27 mai 2025 | 01:10:02
Alex Grendi is back for his second round on The Heart of Man and I’m incredibly excited for all of you to drop into our conversation today. Over the last year, I’ve been working with more and more men who wanted to last longer, overcome performance anxiety, or build more fulfilling sexual relationships. And with that, I began to feel a strong urge to create a clear roadmap for any man struggling in this area. A map that doesn’t just treat the surface-level symptoms of premature ejaculation or erectile dysfunction, but actually gets down to the root of what’s really going on... So for me, this conversation wasn’t just about performing better, even though that's something we cover extensively. In our conversation, we cover:
For those of you who haven’t listened to my first podcast with Alex (which I highly recommend), Alex is a men’s sex coach who helps men overcome premature ejaculation and erectile dysfunction so they can fully satisfy their partners in the bedroom. Before entering this field of work, Alex personally experienced all kinds of challenges and insecurities in the bedroom. And despite having had a number of sexual experiences, he consistently felt disconnected from himself and his partners, often navigating sex through fear, anxiety, or relying on substances just to get through the moment. Determined to find a path to deeper peace and connection, Alex embarked on a journey of self-exploration to understand the challenges he was facing, eventually leading him to become a sex coach himself. What I’ve always appreciated about Alex and his approach is the compassion he brings to the suffering so many men experience in this part of their lives and the stand he takes for men to feel safe in their sexuality while also learning to own what they truly want and need. The way he delivers his teachings is simple, grounded, and direct, which is what makes the path forward feel not only accessible, but genuinely achievable. Over the last few years, I’ve shared openly that sexuality has been one of my deepest areas of growth, especially in reclaiming my expression, stepping into deeper confidence in both relationships and business, and experiencing a greater sense of satisfaction in my life overall. If you’re a man who’s felt dissatisfied with your performance in the bedroom, but you’re also longing to experience deeper satisfaction and connection with an intimate partner, this one’s for you. — Connect with Alex Grendi: Website: https://www.alexgrendi.com/ YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/@Alex.Grendi — Connect with Alex Lehmann: Website: https://www.alexlehmann.co/ Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/alexlehmann_ Youtube: https://www.youtube.com/@HeartofManPodcast/featured Listen to this conversation on Apple Podcasts and leave a review: https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/heart-of-man/id1697289478 Email: alexlehmanncoaching@gmail.com Interested in working with me 1:1? | Bjoern Keune: When Chasing Success Costs You Integrity & Freedom — and How to Reclaim It | EP 47 | 29 avr. 2025 | 01:18:58
Bjoern Keune is a successful entrepreneur and investor with over 13 years of experience founding and managing companies—and someone I am proud to call a dear friend. Leaving business school before graduation to immerse himself in real-world entrepreneurship, Bjoern co-founded and served as CEO of Invincible Brands, a direct-to-consumer platform that he scaled from zero to €120 million in sales within just five years. Despite his extraordinary achievements, Bjoern’s relentless pursuit of success came at a significant personal cost. Along the way, he created numerous personas, or false images, of how he believed he needed to show up to fulfill the role of leading the company. To cope with the intense demands of running the business, he developed several addictions, which, in his own words, ruined the health of his own body and mind. The emptiness of this reality and the worsening of his life circumstances forced him down a path of self-discovery in the search for answers. After exiting the company and finally achieving the business success he had always believed would bring him the freedom he was looking for, he realized this achievement did not offer him the liberation he truly desired. Overwhelmed by stress, disconnected from his true self, and burdened by the weight of the inauthentic personas he had created, Bjoern recognized the need for radical transformation and a return to integrity with himself and his environment. It was during this time that he explored various ancient wisdom teachings, coaching, and connected with the life-altering practice of Connected Breathwork. These tools allowed him to reclaim his sense of self and uncover a deeper connection with his inner truth. Through this journey, Bjoern gained a new perspective on life, realizing that the happiness and freedom he sought could not be achieved through his old methods alone. In our conversation together:

| Ryan Moresby-White: 'Heal The Boy, So The Man Can Appear' | EP 46 | 15 avr. 2025 | 01:12:51 | |
'Heal The Boy, So The Man Can Appear' This message lies at the heart of my next guest's work: Ryan Moresby-White. As a relationship coach and advocate for men’s mental health, Ryan is devoted to helping men uncover and heal the root causes of their suffering—unresolved childhood trauma, internalized shame, and the emotional disconnection so many men carry in silence. His mission is clear: To guide men into a deeper relationship with themselves, to help them face the wounds of their past with compassion and courage, and to support them in reclaiming a more integrated, authentic expression of masculinity—one that holds both strength and softness, direction and depth. Born in South Africa and raised in Australia, Ryan appeared to be doing everything “right” on the surface nearly a decade ago—building a successful career in the construction industry and relentlessly following the path he believed he was meant to take. Yet internally, the weight of living a façade began to wear on him. Over time, it became clear that the high expectations placed on him growing up, the emotional disconnection within his family, and a deep fear of abandonment had quietly shaped his sense of self—leaving him with the belief that he was unworthy and unlovable. It wasn’t until he came face-to-face with his deep need for significance—and the emotional pain he had long been trying to mask—that he began the journey of unraveling his past and rebuilding himself from within." It was during this pivotal time that it became clear to him: if we want lives of authenticity and freedom, we must address our early developmental stages and understand how they continue to influence us today. In our conversation, Ryan and I dive deep into;
As I see it, this episode is a powerful one for any man looking to gain a deeper understanding of how our past shapes our present—impacting our relationships, professional lives, and connection to ourselves. It touches on essential pillars needed for a journey of restoration and healing and offers a glimpse into what’s possible when a man does this work. | Solange Beaumont: Healing The 'Mother' & 'Father' Wound To Transform Your Relationships | EP 45 | 01 avr. 2025 | 01:10:43
Solange Beaumont is a Holistic Trauma Healing Therapist with over a decade of experience in supporting individuals through emotional healing and growth. Her passion lies in guiding people toward healing deep emotional wounds and facilitating spaces where they can acknowledge the pains of their past. She supports them in unraveling layers of emotional armor and dissolving blockages that have created disconnection from themselves and others. Solange's own healing journey began at the early age of 16. After losing her father, who had been her primary caregiver, she was left feeling lost and disconnected. This experience set her on a path of growth and healing that has unfolded over the past two decades, guiding her through grief, co-dependency, feelings of unworthiness, loneliness, and suppressed emotions she hadn’t yet acknowledged. A core aspect of Solange's work today is Family Constellation Therapy, a unique healing modality that uncovers hidden dynamics within family systems and relationships. This approach aims to address imbalances or dysfunctions by resolving unresolved conflicts or wounds within the family, whether they exist on a conscious or subconscious level It was in one of these workshop settings that I first encountered Solange and her transformative work. During the workshop, I began addressing an early imprint related to my mother—one I had become aware was showing up in my intimate relationships. What transpired during this time was something I could never have anticipated. This experience provided an opportunity to see, acknowledge, and fully feel emotions that had been repressed for nearly three decades. For the first time, I was able to offer the response I had longed to express but couldn’t at a younger age. I left the session with a palpable sense of change, noticing a distinct shift in my relationship with my parents as I prepared to return to Germany just a few days later. Since then, I’ve had the opportunity to return for one more constellation, and once again, I left with a similar, palpable shift—acknowledging what had been left unacknowledged and gaining a deeper discernment of what is mine and what is not. For the purpose of this interview, I wanted to come together with Solange to explore the early imprints we receive from our primary caregivers, and how our relationships with our mother and father shape us later in adult life, particularly when we come together in intimate relationship with others. We unpack some of the systemic principles of this modality and how it can help us understand potential imbalances we may have experienced. We discuss how we can acknowledge these imbalances, give ourselves permission to feel what’s there, see what’s present, and ultimately come into a maturation and individuation beyond those initial imprints. This is an incredible conversation for anyone seeking a deeper understanding of how our early imprints can impact us today and how we can integrate them to live with more sovereignty and authenticity. Having personally experienced significant results from her work, I also hope that sharing my experiences will be beneficial to you... — Connect with Solange Beaumont: Website:https://www.solangebeaumont.com/ Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/solange.beaumont — Connect with Alex Lehmann: Website: https://www.alexlehmann.co/ Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/alexlehmann_ Youtube: https://www.youtube.com/@HeartofManPodcast/featured Listen to this conversation on Apple Podcasts and leave a review: https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/heart-of-man/id1697289478 Email: alexlehmanncoaching@gmail.com Interested in working with me 1:1? | Chris Bale: How Can Men Today Reclaim Their Boldness? | EP 44 | 18 mars 2025 | 01:10:04
Chris Bale is back for our second round on Heart of Man—and this conversation together truly did not disappoint. For those of you who may not have listened to our first conversation or are new to Chris, he is an internationally recognized Energy Worker, Qi Gong Teacher, and Intimacy Mentor. Over the past decade, Chris has supported profound transformations in the lives of thousands of men and women from around the world. In his early years, Chris pursued extensive training across a variety of healing modalities, including Traditional Chinese Medicine, acupuncture, medical qigong, reiki, and sexual alchemy. Alongside this, he has spent many years immersed in his own internal work, dismantling personal conditioning and gaining a deep experiential understanding of human energetics. And this foundation shapes the powerful work he offers today . In this episode, Chris and I dive deeply into the nuances of man-woman relating, intimacy and sex, where he shares profound insights on creating deeper harmony and connection. We also had an interesting exploration around a man’s relationship with shame and how he can reclaim his sense of boldness in the world—whether in owning his voice, pursuing his direction, being willing to experiment, learning from these experiences or stepping into the leadership he is called to embody. I deeply value my conversations with Chris and am grateful for his willingness to return on the show to expand on the themes we explored in our first interview. And for those who reached out about the audio issues in our first interview, I want to take a moment to apologize for any inconvenience—and I’m excited to bring you this one at much better quality. Ash Parkhouse is a somatic bodyworker, personal trainer, and men’s coach, committed to guiding men back to their authentic selves through a unique blend of inner work and physical empowerment. With over 15 years of experience in manual therapy and physical training, Ash has built a reputation as one of the go-to experts in Bali for all things related to the body. When someone experiences pain or challenges with their physical well-being, Ash is often the name people trust to bring them back to a place of restoration, balance and strength. His unique approach integrates structural, somatic, and shamanic elements with compassion and practical techniques, empowering lasting transformation in his male clients. His commitment to redefining what it means to be a man and addressing the urgent needs of modern men lies at the heart of his work... Ash’s journey into this field has been deeply personal—marked by triumph over life’s darkest moments. From battling suicidal ideation to overcoming significant mental health challenges, Ash stands as a beacon of resilience, offering not just intellecutual knowledge but wisdom forged by his own lived experience. I first met Ash a few years ago when he joined the team at Breathwork Bali, bringing his expertise to offer upskilling and training to us in the field. Over time, I discovered further parallels between us, as Ash had also been supported by one of my mentors, Amir Khalighi. When I approached Ash about being a guest on my podcast, he suggested we start with a session together before recording our conversation. That session turned out to be one of the most impactful bodywork experiences of my life. It wasn’t just about releasing physical tension; it revealed areas in my body where I was still disconnected from myself and exposed the armoring that had been present to protect me—perhaps even for decades. I left our session asking him how we could continue this work, which led to us meeting twice a week for a two and a half month period. During this time, I was able to restore deeper contact with certain areas of my body and release physical and emotional burdens I had carried for many years. In our conversation together, Ash shares his wisdom about the human body and his observations of the patterns and compensations that emerge in men’s bodies due to past experiences or conditioning. He provides not only deep insights into the body’s innate intelligence but also practical tools for men to begin reclaiming their connection to themselves. From there, our discussion transitions into Ash’s journey in men’s work, exploring his reflections on what it means to be a man and the lessons he has learned over years of actively engaging in personal growth and men’s development. Ash’s commitment to this work is a driving force behind the immersive experiences he now offers, helping men to move beyond disconnection and into alignment with their true selves. As I see it, this episode offers you the chance to dive deeper into the wisdom of the body, exploring the ways we as men can stay disconnected, and learn actionable steps to reclaim that connection. Ash’s insights and experiences, combined with his own journey of reclaiming his masculinity, provide a powerful discussion for anyone seeking to express themselves more fully as a man — Connect with Ash Parkhouse: Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/ash_parkhouse — Connect with Alex Lehmann: Website: https://www.alexlehmann.co/ Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/alexlehmann_ Youtube: https://www.youtube.com/@HeartofManPodcast/featured Listen to this conversation on Apple Podcasts and leave a review: https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/heart-of-man/id1697289478 Email: alexlehmanncoaching@gmail.com Interested in working with me 1:1? | Steve Shiva Corbett: Empowering Leadership Through Vulnerability | EP 42 | 18 févr. 2025 | 01:05:30
Steve Shiva Corbett is a man committed to embodying deep integrity, presence & authentic masculinity in his life & work... As a coach, leader & father of 2, he is the founder of multiple organizations devoted to human transformation through psychological, sexual & embodiment practices. His work is a call to those men that are ready to step into their power, confront their shadows & live in alignment with their deeper truth. For over 14 years, Steve has walked the path of Tantra, a philosophy & practice that demanded radical self-awareness & deep integration from within. Introduced to its teachings at the OSHO International Resort in Pune, India, he discovered a way of living for himself that honors the full spectrum of the human experience—whether the light & the shadow alike. This integration is at the heart of his teachings, guiding men toward greater presence, authenticity, and wholeness. A long time ago, however, his life looked very different... Steve climbed the corporate ladder to become a Sales Director in a successful international company & from the outside, it seemed like he had it all... In his own words, he was living the rock star lifestyle—good money, an apartment with a pool, a BMW convertible, top beaches & a beautiful girlfriend. Everything was at his feet. Except for one thing: he couldn’t feel a thing. Beneath the surface, he was empty. There was no joy. The confronting truth he had to face was that his success was built on a carefully constructed image—one that wasn’t truly him. A reputation built on lies. And facing the truth meant tearing that very image down, piece by piece. It meant stripping away every action, behavior & belief that wasn’t aligned with who he really was. As he puts it: "I had to transform from the man I thought I had to be into the man I actually am. I now know—nothing beats the truth. Except my heart. And I listen to every beat, keeping me in my integrity, in who I am, in any given moment, wherever I am." In our conversation, we explored:
A recurring theme in our discussion was the role of vulnerability in a man’s life... We examined the risks of remaining guarded & the impact that avoidance can have on our connection to ourselves & others. The conversation sheds light on the dangers of suppressing what we fear & the power of embracing our full emotional spectrum, cultivating true emotional competence in the process This is a powerful episode for any man seeking to closer understand concepts such as polarity, masculine and feminine energetics, and how to embody these principles in a way that fosters deeper self-awareness, connection & leadership—both in their personal lives & relationships. — Connect with Steve Shiva Corbett: Website: https://notorioushearts.com/ Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/steve.shiva.official/ Join Steve's upcoming "Rites Of Passage" Workshop: https://www.tickettailor.com/events/notoriousheartsllc/1533004 — Connect with Alex Lehmann: Website: https://www.alexlehmann.co/ Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/alexlehmann_ Youtube: https://www.youtube.com/@HeartofManPodcast/featured Listen to this conversation on Apple Podcasts and leave a review: https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/heart-of-man/id1697289478 Email: alexlehmanncoaching@gmail.com Interested in working with me 1:1? With over 15 years of experience in the wellness industry, Pat’s journey began in the physical fitness space before evolving into a deep exploration of mental, emotional, and relational wellness. As a speaker, author, and podcaster, Pat shares his insights and knowledge in digestible ways to make wellness resources accessible to anyone on a path of self-discovery and healing. At the core of Pat’s work, as I see it, is the belief that it’s our privilege to embrace all parts of ourselves—both our light and our shadow. In today’s conversation, we’ll dive into one of the most essential aspects of his work: the shadow, in anticipation of the release of his upcoming book „Shadow Work“. In my own journey, I first encountered the concept of the shadow several years ago, a term popularized in Western culture by the renowned psychotherapist Carl Jung – and in our conversation today, Pat and I explore the origins of the shadow, how it’s formed, and how we can bring awareness to it. We discuss:
At the heart of this episode is the importance of shining light on the aspects of ourselves that are hidden and may be unconsciously dictating our lives—bringing them into awareness, and learning to be in right relationship with them. As I see it, this conversation serves as a masterclass on the shadow—understanding what it is, how we encounter it, and how we can integrate those disowned aspects of ourselves into our daily lives. | Vix Anderton: Overcoming Perfectionism & Leading With Authenticity | EP 40 | 28 janv. 2025 | 01:18:06
Vix Anderton is a somatic coach, authentic relating teacher, author, and self-described recovering perfectionist... In her own words, she spent over 15 years chasing achievement, striving to feel good enough, all in high-stress environments. This included her service in the UK Royal Air Force, and working as an advisor & consultant in corporate settings In pursuit of deeper liberation by working for herself, she doubled down on her famliar strategies of perfectionism, which ultimately led to burnout in her corporate role & set her on a journey of healing & deeper self discovery Drawing on her extensive experience in high-stress environments, from war zones to boardrooms, her work today is rooted in the foundational understandings of embodiment - using the principles of the nervous system, cyclical living & authentic relating to help resonating perfectionists bravely build more sustainable & authentic ways of being. Her passion lies in helping individuals overcome the internalized oppression that perfectionism brings upon us, enabling them to reconnect with themselves, others, and the world around them. She is dedicated to guiding others in unlocking their inner wisdom, nurturing resilience, and expanding their embodied range, empowering them to navigate life's uncertainties with grace and confidence. Within our conversation together, we address this phenomenon of perfectionsim – discussing it as a coping mechanim that leads to unhelpful strategies in life, which tend to lead to repetitive behaviors that are not helpful for our long-term happiness nor wellbeing. Rather than supporting us, they become a collection of habits and patterns we use to protect ourselves. And while these mechanisms can be highly effective, they do come at a very high cost: In our attempts to guard ourselves, we also prevent ourselves from being truly seen by others. We discuss how the essential pillars of embodied awareness and resourcing ourselves can support the development of deeper range, allowing us to discover new ways of operating, so we're no longer confined by these old strategies We also touch on the modality of authentic relating, which has deeply influenced my own journey a few years back, supporting me to recover a deeper authenticity with myself and also foster deeper connections with others – and within that, we explore elements such as authenticity and what it truly means to experience relational intimacy with someone At its core, we explored that the more deeply we welcome every aspect of ourselves, the more comfortable we become in our own authentic expression, reducing the need to hide behind masks such as perfectionism. We also explored key principles embedded in the practice of authentic relating, offering a framework to create more depth and connection with ourselves and others And as always, these are only some of the subject matters that we address If you’re a man who perpetually struggles under the weight of your inner critic—demanding more from yourself, seeking perfection, yet at the same time desiring deeper harmony with yourself and others—this one’s for you... — Connect with Vix Anderton Website: https://vixanderton.com/ Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/vix_anderton Read Vix's Book "Enough: An Imperfect Antidote to Perfectionism": https://www.amazon.com/Enough-Imperfect-Perfectionism-Vix-Anderton/dp/B0BBPY7BXD?source=ps-sl-shoppingads-lpcontext&ref_=fplfs&psc=1&smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER Connect with Alex Lehmann: Website: https://www.alexlehmann.co/ Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/alexlehmann_ Youtube: https://www.youtube.com/@HeartofManPodcast/featured Listen to this conversation on Apple Podcasts and leave a review: https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/heart-of-man/id1697289478 Email: alexlehmanncoaching@gmail.com Interested in working with me 1:1? | Justin Patrick Pierce & Londin Angel Winters: Cultivating Lasting Passion In A Long-Term Partnership | EP 39 | 14 janv. 2025 | 01:25:19
This has been a conversation I’ve been eagerly looking forward to sharing with you for weeks... It is arguably the most important discussion I've published to date on the subject of leading your relationships and sustaining the fire within them. I have the great honor to be inviting Justin Patrick Pierce back on the podcast, this time alongside his wife, Londin Angel Winters. The first podcast I recorded with Justin quickly became the most downloaded episode of the show and, as I see it, served as a powerful declaration of the importance for us as men to bring awareness to how we are showing up in our intimate relationships and how we can sustain desire over the long run Today’s episode continues that conversation and goes even deeper into one essential question:
Before coming together for this conversation, I took time to reflect on the subject of desire, which can still feel somehwhat elusive and complex. Up until a few years ago, I myself couldn’t articulate what truly awakened my desire for someone—or what repelled it. I was also unaware of what creates the "neutrality" so many couples find themselves in over time. For the sake of providing answers on the subject of what creates neutrality and how we can be liberated in our desires, I have structured our conversation together around the framework used by Justin and Londin in their most recent book, Playing with Fire The episode today will be a continuation of my first conversation with Justin, so if you're unfamiliar with teachings of polarity, their book Playing with Fire, or their use of terms like “Alpha,” “Omega,” “Seer,” and “Feeler,” my encouragement is to listen to my first conversation with Justin as it lays a strong foundation for these teachings and the ideas we explore today. In the realm of polarity, sacred intimacy, and welcoming relationships as a ground for spiritual growth, I hold few individuals in higher regard than Justin and Londin. Together, they lead a business, write, teach, and live as householders, while also raising their daughter, Eva, and remaining committed to sustaining the fire of their relationship—16 years strong. My deepest hope is that this conversation leaves you with a clearer understanding of the foundational pillars that make relationships thrive, along with tools to support your own journey of love and intimacy.
