How to Overcome Repetitive Thinking11 Oct 202300:27:34

If you find yourself consistently worrying about events, conversations, or situations in your life with friends, parents, teachers, or even the world at large, then you know how the constant repeat of thoughts can interfere with everyday thinking and functioning.

Constant repetition of a thought or issues is called rumination and when it’s consistently focused on discouraging or adverse thoughts, it’s called Repetitive Negative Thinking or RNT.

We all do it from time to time, but when it becomes more frequent, it can become overwhelming and may influence anxiety or depression. In today’s episode I share strategies for stopping the negative repeat cycle and develop more productive and proactive thinking instead.
