Leeann Froese has worked to market and publicize companies and individuals from all over the world for nearly three decades and has been named one of 10 Women in PR That Lead, Inspire and Build Successful Brands, by Women in Public Relations North America.
With more than 26 years’ experience, she loves guiding clients and helping them build brand strategies that bring success. Their victories are hers. As an agency owner and consultant, Leeann is proud to have worked with several companies to assist them with their branding, identity, and story and have produced innumerable projects.
She is well known and respected, possesses great relationships, and offers a highly unique skill set as it relates to strategy, marketing, PR, and projects. Leeann loves to address groups— large or small—and is adept at leading projects and client workshops.
Outside of work, Leeann also provides mentorship to professional women in the food, hospitality, and wine industry via her membership with the BC Chapter of Les Dames d’Escoffier, supports the food and beverage industry through her advisory council role with the BC Hospitality Foundation board, and enjoys memberships in the BC Food and Beverage Association and the Canadian Association of Professional Sommeliers British Columbia Chapter.
Leeann is a mom and a grandma and her favourite personal pastime is to bird watch.

Jana is a pediatric occupational therapist by trade and she has been practicing for over 10 years. In addition to pediatric therapy, she has a passion for writing and connecting with other women through shared experiences of motherhood. Having navigated the rollercoaster of fertility struggles and recurrent pregnancy loss, she is passionate about advocating for more open dialogue regarding these important topics, ensuring women are supported during this time of critical need, and making sure that women's voices and experiences are heard and validated.

Have you met Angela Gooliaff yet?
Angela Gooliaff is an illustrator and author based in Vancouver, Canada, best known for her book A Fun Food Friends Adventure, which she co-created with her 9-year old niece. She works as a freelance illustrator for FriesenPress Publishing and has fifteen published books. Book titles include: The Christmas Nisse, Penny’s Rumour and Who Stole My Cupcake.
Angela voices characters in animation, video games and short films. She is known for her children’s voices, both male and female. Her specialty for Described Video narration is animation and children’s programming.
As a professional visual artist for over a decade, she was featured on CBC’s North by Northwest for her colouring book murals. She continues to paint and illustrate during artist residences nationally and internationally. Her most recent public artwork, Little Miss Sunshine, has been spreading cheer throughout Canada highlighted in the Globe and Mail, Maclean’s and the Huffington Post’s online magazine.

- How she shifted her career from getting a biology degree to becoming an artist, illustrator and actor.
- The importance of teamwork in the acting industry and her favourite parts about it.

Mallory Yawnghwe, is nehiyaw iskwew from the Saddle Lake Cree Nation in North Eastern Alberta. She is a graduate of MacEwan University’s School of Business with a Bachelor of Commerce in Supply Chain Management and candidate for the Supply Chain Management Professional designation. Mallory is currently working towards the completion of an Executive MBA in Indigenous Business and Leadership at SFU’s Beedie School of Business. She is four years into her career as a Project Procurement Specialist with Alberta Infrastructure.
Mallory thrives on challenge and is driven to overcome her fear of the unknown to make a difference in this world. Sometimes accused of being overly optimistic, Mallory has used her positive attitude, humility, and perseverance, to grow into a respected Supply Chain professional, independent business and community consultant, educational facilitator, and entrepreneur. Her commitment to professionalism, ethics, and high standards in her work have already made her a stand-out in her fields. Most recently, she has taken a big leap into the role of President and CEO of her new start up Indigenous Box Inc.
Mallory operates Indigenous Box from amiskwaciwâskahikan (Edmonton) with the help of her husband Khamserk and her daughters.
