Im August 2023 ist die Halle von Marcos Zimmerei komplett abgebrannt. Die Kubb-Community zeigte sich sehr solidarisch und viele spendeten, um in der ersten Not zu helfen. Davon überwältigt, möchte Marco etwas zurückgeben und hat sich als Ausrichter der Deutschen Meisterschaft 2024 beworben.

Tom Thomasson, the main organizer of the World Championship in Kubb, shares his Kubb journey and the development of the championship. He started playing Kubb when his father received a set as a gift, and they practiced together until Tom became better than his father. The World Championship started with 20 teams and has grown to 110 teams. Tom and his team have made changes to the tournament, including adding an extra day for one-versus-one matches and implementing tiebreakers in the group stage. They have also focused on creating a fun atmosphere and improving the food court experience. The conversation covers topics such as the atmosphere and experience of the World Championship, efforts to increase the number of players in Sweden, the vision for the World Championship in the future, and also comparison to the European Kubb Championships (EKC). The focus is on attracting both Swedish and foreign teams, maintaining the uniqueness of each tournament, and the challenges of organizing and financing the World Championship. Franz Ludwig aka MC FraLu spricht im Podcast über seinen Weg in den Kubbsport & die verschiedensten Rollen, die er schon angenommen hat. Zu guter letzt sind wir alle Details von seinem Transfer von Deutschland in die Schweiz durchgegangen inklusive Teamankündigung für die kommende Kubbtour Viel Spaß bei einem lockeren Gespräch - gespickt mit einigen Anekdoten - in dem man aber definitiv auch etwas über Franz und den Kubbsport lernen kann.

Stefan Obrist aka Tschepetto, Jacky Suter aka Schagg aka DJ Chaque und Philipp Bingisser aka Filë sprechen über die neue Kubbhalle in der Schweiz - dem Vereinsheim des Kubbclub Wasserschloss (KCW).
