Today I am diving into one of the topics that has been a long time coming... Libido! There is somewhat of an epidemic (my words) of low libido in women and this should be more concerning than it is. Low libido is not "normal" and it actually is comes out of running low in other areas of your life.

The environment around us, birth control (impacting thyroid function + gut issues), and emotional factors are all culprits that can cause low libido and I break it all down in this episode. If you are a woman or a mom that is in a season of high stress, overwhelm, lack of capacity and/or exhaustion - there is no way your libido is going to be high! Who needs a little help with breakfast? As cliche as it sounds I really do think it's the most important meal of the day, so today I'm giving you the template I use to create a hormone-friendly breakfast with plenty of ideas + tips to make it happen quickly.

A hormone friendly breakfast is going to have whole foods, plenty of protein, and the right, nutrient dense carbs to keep your bloods sugar balanced and keep you satiated and full of energy until it's time for the next meal - not looking for coffee or a sugary snack just to get you through the morning.

Getting the right breakfast is one of the most simple ways to give your body those signals of safety to shut off fight or flight and help your body prioritize hormone balance.

That's what I found when I searched "causes for period pain" in preparation for this episode so I want to give you more of a holistic explanation of the causes of period pain that DON'T require birth control or surgery.

There are 3 causes of period pain and heavy bleeding I'm talking about today that are not only something you have a lot of control over, but in my experience they can be resolved or improving within a matter of a few cycles in many cases!
