This wasn't supposed to be an episode.
A week before recording the first official episode of Hanging with Becky, Becky D'Anna and producer Kyle Reardon got together to test the show's format, work out the kinks, and make sure everything was ready for the upcoming BACKROOMS episode.
The plan was simple: record a full episode exactly as if it were going to be released.
What they didn't expect was that it would turn out this well.
In this special bonus episode—the lost pilot of Hanging with Becky—Becky and Kyle discuss HOKUM, one of their favorite horror films of the year. Together, they discuss why people love being scared, Damian McCarthy's remarkable ability to create terror in a single shot, and how HOKUM feels like a timeless horror tale that blends haunted house thrills with classic folklore and witchcraft.

Kyle is a filmmaker, location manager, producer of Hanging with Becky, and perhaps most importantly, a devoted JAWS superfan with a JAWS tattoo to prove it. Becky puts his shark knowledge to the test in a trivia challenge that begins in the shallow end before venturing into much deeper waters.
Will Kyle emerge as an Actual Shark, or sink like the Orca?
