On this episode of the podcast, I had the great pleasure of talking with Mike Corcione, the author of "Tales from The Gutter". Not only is Mike and author, but he was also the frontman for the N.Y. based glam band Sweet Pain! In the late 80's Mike was also the road manager for L.A. Guns. Mike has lived a very eventful life and has so many cool stories to tell about the Music Industry in the 80's and the Sunset Strip.

Tom Tracey is such a great friend; he created the Hair Metal Rules podcast theme for me! He's a busy man and we finally found the time to sit down and do the podcast! It was so much fun talking about Hair metal, our childhood memories about Star Wars and the inspirations for the music Tom's career. We even get into some of our favorite 80's pop! Tom is such a great guy, and it was a pleasure having him on the show!

Just who is Tommy London? He's a vocalizer and socializer from the streets of the Lower East Side of New York City. As a frontman he’s supported many of rock's biggest heavyweights. But when he's not singing or putting together killer downtown parties, Tommy enjoys telling stories of his life, love and passion for rock 'n' roll. I really enjoyed talking to Tommy! What a laid back and kind man. Tommy is such a great addition to the Sirius/XM Hosts!

Chuck Oney formed ONEY in 1987. ONEY was a glam metal band that were known for live energetic shows as well as their rocking sound that was compared to Cheap Trick, KISS, Bon Jovi, Poison & Lillian Axe. ONEY & 4Play Records release the EP “Good Guys Wear Black” in 1989 that would later be re-released in 2005 by 80’s imprint label Retrospect Records. Retrospect also released in 2006 a long overdue album by ONEY that was recorded in 1991-1992 called “Bust Em Down”.

I was so thrilled to have Joel Ellis on my Podcast! I remember seeing "Shotgun Sally" on the Headbanger's Ball back in High School and I was an instant fan! Later on, Joel would form the band Heavy Bones with Frankie Banali and Gary Hoey. That band was incredible as well! To be a fan for so many years and have the chance to speak with him was pretty special to me. What a great man and musician!

It was a pleasure having Rob Wylde on show! Rob is the frontman for band Midnite City. If you appreciate 80's Sunset Strip era music, then is the band for you. Midnite City effortlessly slip into a machine and land right 1988! Rob is a very busy individual and has a great passion the bands the 80's. It an honor him on the show.

Justin Sayne from Cruella D'Vil comes back on the show to discuss the band's new album, the recording process and the meaning and inspiration behind the album. Having lived in Hollywood for much of his life, the wildfires in California hit home in a big way. Justin gives his thoughts on the situation. He is such a great and hardworking man; it was a pleasure having him back!

My interview with Tony, the front man for the band Foxy Roxx was incredible! Tony and the band have been around for decades and roamed the Sunset Strip during the glory days of Glam. Tony and the band are keeping the sound and passion of the music alive today. Tony is such great person with some amazing stories to tell!

In the past year, I have gotten to know Mark Strigl quite well. He is one the best hosts on SiriusXM satellite radio! He hosts on Turbo and Ozzy's Boneyard, but I prefer when he hosts Hair Nation on Saturday mornings. If it weren't for Mark, you wouldn't hear snippets of voice on Hair Nation. Such a nice guy and I'm glad to call him friend!

I have a special guest with me tonight, my wife Erica Mae (my trusty sidekick). We take a look back at the year 2024 and the guests and memories made on the Podcast!

It was great fun talking to Amy and Katya from Rock the Life! They met as teenagers at a concert and have been friends for over 30 years, and they still attend concerts together! They tell a great story about sneaking out as teenagers and ending up on the Sunset Strip for a memorable adventure! Enjoyed talking to Britt! What a genuine and just outright nice person! It was really awesome hearing his stories about meeting his first Hollywood friend (Steve Rachelle from TUFF) and even seeing Blackie Lawless getting out of a Ferrari on Sunset. Really cool interview with an even COOLER dude! Blackboard Jungle defiantly left their mark on the strip!

I had an AWESOME time speaking with Jason McMaster! He is no stranger to the Metal world being the front man for Dangerous Toys and Watchtower. He has a new band called Ignitor. If you like old school British metal in the vein of Iron Maiden and Judas Priest, you should check them out! Jason also hosts an excellent podcast titled "Talk Louder," featuring killer guests! Thank-you Jason for taking the time to talk to me!

I thoroughly enjoyed interviewing Marc for the show He was an guitarist during his years with XYZ. Marc took an almost 25-year hiatus from the rock scene to pursue his passion for more blues inspired music. He has now reunited with his bandmate Paul Monroe, to form the band DIGGS & COMPANY.

Had a great time just shooting the breeze with Roy. I have been a huge fan of his ever since I saw Cold Sweat in High School. Roy talks about being a small-town guy from Fayetteville NC. and walking into the Whiskey for the first time with Marc Ferreri. Roy talks about new stuff coming from Cold Sweat!

I had so much fun talking with Paul Monroe XYZ was one of the BEST bands during the Hair Metal era! Paul talks about times on the Sunset Strip and reuniting with guitarist Marc Diglio after over 20 years. The two are back together making music in the band Digs and Company.

Talking to Tom was a blast! He's a seasoned veteran of the Hollywood and Sunset scene, starting with Cherry St. and later establishing the incredible Perris Records. Tom has a treasure trove of stories from the Hollywood days. Additionally, he has assisted numerous underrated bands from that era in releasing their music.

Having Andy on the show was a great honor, and it's thrilling to know that my podcast has reached Sweden! Smoking Snakes incorporate elements of RATT, DOKKEN, KISS, and W.A.S.P. They are currently signed with Frontiers Records. Andy discussed the band, the metal scene, and shared some of his favorite memories from the Monsters of Rock Cruise. Check out this band! Their sound is a throwback to the '80s Sunset Strip era!

I was privileged to interview Mark, a true patriot dedicated to supporting veterans and the VFW. He is the founder of American Premium Vodka, and during our conversation, he shared insights about the company and the early days of Trixter. Hearing how challenging it was to secure radio airplay and the daunting task of getting a video played on MTV was fascinating.

Jaron Gulino the bass player for Lynch Mob and Heaven's Edge talks about being on the road with Lynch Mob for the fair well tour and recording the latest Heaven's Edge album.

I had a great time talking to E J Curse from the band Silent Rage! E J talks about the hard work it took playing the Sunset Strip and his first phone conversation with Gene Simmons before getting signed to Simmons Records! I could have talked to him for hours; he has so many great stories to tell!

I had a GREAT time talking to Ray West! He's such a low key and laid-back person. He talks about being asked to add vocals to a demo tape that would eventually start the band Spread Eagle! A great trip down memory lane from one of the East Coasts most underrated bands of the decade.

I had a great time talking to Shawn Duncan! We talked about his days in Odin and the Sunset Strip! Shawn also talks about getting ready to hit the road with L.A. Guns! What a great guy, I enjoyed my time with him!

Who doesn't remember "The Calling" and "Hideaway"? I mean LEATHERWOLF ROCKED! It was a pleasure to talk to Michael Olivieri and listen to the interesting stories of playing the Sunset Strip!

This gentleman is indeed a legend! Randy O and his band Odin dominated the scene in the 80s. Many will recall the band from the film "Decline of Western Civilization," yet Odin's impact extended far beyond their portrayal in the film. It was a pleasure discussing the band and the movie with Randy.

It's one of my all-time favorite bands from the 80's, Lillian Axe! A talk with Steve Blaze about the good old days and the band's newest music. Steve is one of the nicest and most genuine people in the biz and I was honored to interview him!

Talking to Reggie Wu, the guitarist from Heaven's Edge, was an exhilarating experience! He's one of my favorite guitarists from the '80s. Reggie talks about the band and the new album!
