Continuing on from part one, Alyssa Sharpe, aka TheDivineVenus, and I chatted more about the applied practice of astrology and when it crosses the lines. We discuss Saturn retrograde, its rhetoric in the social media community, and how to look at important transits like this. We also talked about the ethics behind looking at celebrity charts and take a look at Johnny Depp's and Amber Heard's synastry and charts as an example of how to look at charts responsibly. We talk about the current situation of astrology and our takes on it and so much more! 

This week, I was joined by one of my astrology teachers and mentors, someone who helped me get into astrology, Alyssa Sharpe, aka TheDivineVenus. Alyssa is one of the OG content creators in the astrology community, and once we became friends and realized we had flipped conjunct lunar nodes, we knew we had to get her on the podcast. In this first part, I interview Alyssa about her life story from birth to her future. We talk about her origins in the church and how that fueled her passion for astrology. We discuss her marriage and divorce, and we get into her experience of fame on Youtube and dealing with being "canceled" multiple times. 

In our third episode, I am discussing toxic capitalism in astrology and how we, as an astrology community, eternalize capitalism through certain perspectives we have on signs, houses, and planets. I talk about capitalism present in the tenth, sixth, and second house, the houses of money in your chart. I also talk about the historical framing of astrology to be capitalistic. What is your purpose? Is it career? Or is it your liberation?

It's all about love this week! Astrologer and friend of mine, Jojo Kelley, linked up with me to talk about the astrology of love and the social/cultural dynamics surrounding it. We spilled tea on our experiences having large platforms on astrology TikTok and how we use astrology as professional astrologers. We talked about the boundaries that someone should have when using astrology in their love life. We also discussed how astrology proves the existence of the LGBTQIA+ community. Check it out and hear our unique perspective on the astrological concepts of love, such as synastry charts and compatibility. 

In this second episode, I am breaking down the basics of love astrology and identifying when someone’s relationship with astrological compatibility goes sour and toxic. Why does this happen? I took to one of my most appreciated friends in the astrology field to break down toxic astrology with. In this part 2 to episode 1, Vernel AKA Piscesito, Astrology tiktoker with 100k+ followers and upwards of 8M likes, gives me his unique takes on toxic astrology, if astrology is free will or destiny, how he deal with transits in his personal life, and how beauty is subjective in astrology.

In this first episode, I am explaining the difference between using astrology in a healthy or toxic way and giving you my exclusive take as a professional astrologer on how I escaped toxic astrology and healed my relationship with astrology. I expose toxic astrology social media content that surfaces TikTok and Instagram sometimes that eternalizes bad stereotypes. I also introduce you to the FIVE SINS of astrology, the five no-no’s in order to make sure you have a healthy relationship with astrology.
