The Milwaukee Bucks signed TyTy Washington Jr., a first round pick in the 2022 NBA Draft who TiTi Windisch was VERY high on coming out of college, to a two-way contract earlier this week. Giannis Antetokounmpo confirmed on social media that he will not participate in the 2023 FIBA World Cup due to his knee surgery earlier this summer, which is unfortunate for both fans of the Greek side and the Milwaukee Bucks but ultimately the correct and safest call for Giannis. The Milwaukee Bucks recovered from a treacherous position early in NBA free agency, as after inking Khris Middleton to a three-year $102 million deal the Bucks were unable to reach terms with Brook Lopez until Saturday with the Houston Rockets aggressively trying to sign him away. The Bucks finally did get Brook back on a two-year $48 million deal, which caused Ti Windisch, Jordan Treske, and Adam McGee to celebrate before jumping on a podcast to recap the Bucks free agency so far. The Milwaukee Bucks had an exciting draft and added athletic, big wing prospects! The Milwaukee Bucks tried but failed to acquire Brad Beal over the weekend, with Beal ending up in Phoenix and the Bucks needing to look elsewhere for roster improvements ahead of Adrian Griffin’s rookie season as head coach.
