03 - Guided by the Blue Tree - Scott Harrison’s Story of Grief, Growth and Connection25 Apr 202500:36:43

Send us a text

Today’s episode holds space for a story both tender and powerful. I sat down with Scott Harrison, who shared the deeply personal journey he and his wife, Victoria, experienced as they prepared to welcome their baby boy, Evan.

What began as a joyful time of expectation shifted suddenly during a routine ultrasound, when they received the heartbreaking news that Evan had passed away before birth. From that moment, they began a journey through grief, love, and remembrance - navigating the realities of loss while holding on to the bond they formed with their son.

In our conversation, Scott speaks with honesty and heart about the hospital experience, the quiet moments spent with Evan, and the significant sign that Evan gave in the image of a Blue Tree brought comfort in the days that followed—especially on what would have been Evan’s birthday.

We talk about the emotional impact of late pregnancy loss, the strength of parental love, and the ways families can find meaning, even in the most unimaginable circumstances. Scott’s story is one of honoring, remembering, and learning to carry grief alongside hope.

This episode is a reminder that every life—no matter how short—matters, and that the love between parent and child endures in ways that words often struggle to capture.

08 - A Story of Love, Loss & the Moon Gazing Hare with Jo Ray30 May 202500:52:54

Send us a text

Today’s Podcast Episode: A Story of Love, Loss & the Moon Gazing Hare

In this episode, I sit down with the remarkable Jo from Flawed Maud, who shares the deeply moving story of her son Harry, who tragically passed away after a seizure caused by undiagnosed epilepsy.

Jo tells us how, not long after Harry’s passing, the story of the Moon Gazing Hare came to her while walking his dog. That story—now one of her signature jewellery pieces—is a beautiful tribute to Harry, who is reflected in the character of a young hare who loved to run.

Jo reads part of the story during our chat, and it’s clear how full of meaning and magic it is. She also shares an incredible synchronicity: learning through numerology that at the time of Harry’s passing, the constellation Lepus—a hare below Orion’s belt—was directly overhead.

Now, Jo hosts fundraising events to raise awareness and support for epilepsy in Harry’s name. This is a touching, inspiring conversation about turning grief into purpose, and how spirit speaks through creativity, connection, and love.

07 - A Journey with Spirit, Autism & Intuition with Annette Jackson23 May 202500:49:54

Send us a text

In this heartfelt and insightful conversation, I sit down with Annette Jackson, who shares her incredible journey of growing up with spiritual sensitivity—seeing spirit as a child without realising just how closely she’d work with them later in life.

We talk about how Annette trained in Reiki to support her son, Jamie, after his autism diagnosis - especially to help soothe his sleep struggles. This path not only deepened her spiritual connection but also became a powerful tool for healing and support.

Annette offers a deeply personal account of the lack of understanding and support she faced as a parent navigating the system. She opens up about the blame often placed on mothers and how she found strength through spiritual practice.

We also dive into a powerful spiritual perspective: Could individuals with autism be carrying a higher vibration? Are they here to help shift collective consciousness? We explore how their sensitivities may point to a deeper connection with spirit, truth, and the natural world.

Jamie himself has a remarkable gift - he can recall the exact day of the week someone was born from their date of birth. So we ask the question: is this a rare cognitive skill, or could it be claircognizance - the intuitive ability to just know?

This episode is one of soul, strength, and insight. Tune in for a conversation that honours difference, intuition, and the sacred connection between a mother and child.
