Episode 024 - Laurie Brown
Episode 25
mardi 3 décembre 2019 • Duration 01:39:02
It’s our final episode of cycle 2! It’s Sagittarius season! We cap off this cycle in the best way we could possibly think of: a chat with broadcasting legend Laurie Brown.
Laurie Brown has hosted The New Music, CBC’s The Journal and On the Arts, as well as serving as a seminal Much Music VJ. She notably hosted The Signal on CBC Radio 2, and now produces and hosts Pondercast, a podcast that combines music with deep ruminations about the human spirit and what it means to be alive in today’s world. We talk to her about her work in television, radio, the mission of Pondercast, and what it was like to interview Miles Davis and Whitney Houston.

Episode 020 - Witchcraft
Episode 20
mardi 29 octobre 2019 • Duration 01:26:04
Happy Halloween everybody!
In honour of this spooktacular time of year we talk to Liz Leia about ~witchcraft~
Liz Leia is an artist, writer, witch, activist, healer and Spiritual Director in training. Her writing explores themes of mythology, mysticism and the body. She uses archetypal wisdom and her own experiences of trauma, disability and chronic illness as catalysts for spiritual awakening and individual and collective healing. Her work examines the intersections of social justice, spirituality, shamanism, ecofeminism and sacred sexuality. Her mission on this planet is to help reclaim and reawaken the spirit of the Divine Feminine, raise the earth's vibration, and facilitate accessible, trauma-informed and anti-oppressive healing for others. She lives in Toronto with her two cats and spends her spare time dreaming, holding space, hosting moon rituals and playing her harp.
