The Vegas Golden Knights lost to the Carolina Hurricanes, 5-3, after a multi-goal comeback fell short in Game 4 of the Stanley Cup Final on Tuesday at T-Mobile Arena. The series is tied, 2-2.

The Hurricanes built a 2-0 lead in the opening 3:28 as Logan Stankoven scored on a rebound and Jackson Blake added another early tally. Mark Stone cut the deficit to 2-1 at 7:22 of the first period, finishing a breakaway after a stretch pass from Shea Theodore, but Jordan Staal restored Carolina’s two-goal advantage with a power-play goal late in the frame.

Vegas rallied in the second period as William Karlsson buried a one-timer off a feed from Rasmus Andersson at 4:22, and Brett Howden tied the game 3-3 with his 14th goal of the postseason on a toe-drag wrist shot with less than three minutes remaining.

The Hurricanes regained the lead for good at 6:32 of the third period when Staal scored his second goal of the night on a broken play in front. Nikolaj Ehlers added an empty-net goal late to secure Carolina’s 5-3 victory.

The Vegas Golden Knights beat the Carolina Hurricanes, 5-4, in double overtime in Game 3 of the Stanley Cup Final on Saturday at T-Mobile Arena. The Golden Knights lead the series, 2-1.

After a scoreless opening period, Tomas Hertl opened the scoring on the power play before Mitch Marner scored 16 seconds later and then completed a second-period hat trick, giving Vegas a 4-0 lead. Marner became the first player in NHL history to record a four-point period in the Stanley Cup Final and set a Stanley Cup Final record by scoring his three goals in a span of 6:10. 

Carolina stormed back with four unanswered goals, including three goals in 39 seconds and a late power-play tally from Andrei Svechnikov to force overtime. 

After a scoreless first extra frame, Shea Theodore scored the winner 5:38 into double overtime, becoming the seventh defenseman in NHL history to record two overtime goals in the same playoff run. Hertl finished with a goal and an assist, Brayden McNabb added two assists, and Carter Hart made 29 saves. Marner's league-leading 28 playoff points (10G, 18A) are the most in a single postseason in Golden Knights history, while Vegas improved to 7-2 at home this postseason.

The Vegas Golden Knights came up short, 4-3, in overtime to the Carolina Hurricanes in Game 2 of the Stanley Cup Final on Thursday at Lenovo Center. The series is tied, 1-1.

Brett Howden scored twice to help the Golden Knights build a 2-0 lead, opening the scoring on a breakaway set up by Mitch Marner’s high-flip breakout pass with 6:27 left in the first period before adding his second at 7:23 of the second. Carolina rallied in the third with goals from Logan Stankoven, Mark Jankowski, and Jordan Staal to take a 3-2 lead. Mark Stone tied the game with 1:21 remaining in regulation, forcing overtime, but Seth Jarvis scored a power-play winner 3:58 into the extra period to lift the Hurricanes to a 4-3 victory.

The Vegas Golden Knights erased a two-goal first-period deficit and defeated the Carolina Hurricanes, 5-4, in Game 1 of the Stanley Cup Final on Tuesday night at Lenovo Center.

Nikolaj Ehlers scored twice in the opening period to give Carolina a 2-0 lead before Shea Theodore cut the deficit in half with less than six minutes remaining in the frame. Vegas surged ahead with two goals in the first 4:35 of the second period as Ivan Barbashev tied the game 30 seconds into the period and William Karlsson gave the Golden Knights their first lead. 

After Jordan Staal evened the score at 3-3 late in the second, Brett Howden restored Vegas’ advantage early in the third before Shayne Gostisbehere tied it again at 4-4. Tomas Hertl scored the game-winning goal with 3:41 remaining, finishing off a setup from Colton Sissons to secure the 5-4 victory. 

Theodore led the way with a goal and two assists, while Brayden McNabb recorded three assists and a game-high plus-three rating. Howden scored his NHL-leading 11th playoff goal, and Carter Hart made 23 saves to earn his seventh consecutive postseason victory. The win gave Vegas a 1-0 series lead and marked the first time in NHL history that a road team overcame a multi-goal deficit to win Game 1 of the Stanley Cup Final. Jack Eichel added an assist to become the fastest American-born player in NHL history to reach 50 career playoff assists, while Mitch Marner's helper on Karlsson's goal gave him an NHL-best 22 postseason points (7G, 15A).

The Vegas Golden Knights eliminated the Colorado Avalanche, 2-1, in Game 4 of the Western Conference Final on Tuesday night at T-Mobile Arena to complete a four-game sweep and advance to the Stanley Cup Final for the third time in nine seasons.

At 4:42 of the first period, Mark Stone opened the scoring after corralling a high flip pass from Brayden McNabb, dropping the puck to himself on a breakaway and beating Mackenzie Blackwood for a 1-0 lead. Following a scoreless second period, Cole Smith doubled Vegas’ advantage with 5:45 remaining when he redirected Dylan Coghlan’s shot through Blackwood’s five-hole. Gabriel Landeskog answered late for Colorado, but the Golden Knights held on for the victory as Carter Hart stopped 20 of 21 shots.

Smith netted the game-winning goal and his third tally of the postseason, while Stone continued his strong stretch with his third goal and fifth point in his last four games. McNabb added the primary assist on Stone’s opener and led Vegas in ice time at 23:56. Hart finished with a .952 save percentage as the Golden Knights extended their playoff win streak to six games.

Vegas recorded the second playoff sweep in franchise history and outscored Colorado, 14-7, across the Western Conference Final. Hart turned aside 118 shots in the series and posted a .944 save percentage while extending his personal winning streak to six games, the longest in franchise history. Shea Theodore continued his standout postseason with 21 career points in series-clinching games, the most among active NHL defensemen, and also leads the NHL this postseason with 46 blocked shots. Mitch Marner paces all skaters with 21 playoff points, Jack Eichel leads the league with 16 assists, and Pavel Dorofeyev and Brett Howden are tied for the postseason lead with 10 goals each. Vegas also owns the top three postseason hit totals in the NHL, led by Ivan Barbashev (83), Keegan Kolesar (70), and Cole Smith (66).

The Vegas Golden Knights overcame a three-goal deficit to defeat the Colorado Avalanche, 5-3, in Game 3 of the Western Conference Final on Sunday night at T-Mobile Arena, taking a 3-0 series lead.

The Avalanche jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the first period of Game 3 of the Western Conference Final as Gabriel Landeskog opened the scoring at 3:21, Nazem Kadri doubled the lead just over seven minutes later, and Jack Drury added a shorthanded breakaway goal with 6:45 remaining in the frame. The Golden Knights responded immediately in the second period when Mark Stone scored on the power play just 19 seconds into the period off a setup from Mitch Marner and Tomas Hertl. William Karlsson cut the deficit to 3-2 at 4:05 of the second by burying a rebound from Marner’s shot, before Keegan Kolesar tied the game later in the period by tipping Dylan Coghlan’s point shot and backhanding the loose puck over the line.

Tomas Hertl completed the comeback in the third period, giving Vegas its first lead of the night at 8:21 with a highlight-reel backhand goal after beating Sam Malinski off the rush. Brett Howden sealed the 5-3 win with an empty-net goal from the Vegas blue line in the final minute. Carter Hart made 32 saves, including 19 over the final two periods, as the Golden Knights took a commanding 3-0 series lead.

Hertl finished with a goal and an assist for first-star honors and scored his first postseason game-winning goal with Vegas. Stone recorded two points in his return to the lineup and scored his franchise-record 40th playoff goal with the Golden Knights. Marner added two assists for his sixth multi-point game of the postseason, Karlsson posted a goal and an assist with a game-high plus-three rating, and Kolesar scored his first goal of the playoffs. Hart extended his streak to five consecutive games with at least 30 saves.

Vegas completed the first three-goal comeback in franchise playoff history and became just the 10th team in NHL history to take a 3-0 series lead against a Presidents’ Trophy winner. Hertl has seven points in his last six games, while Howden’s 10 postseason goals are tied for the NHL lead with Pavel Dorofeyev. Karlsson’s 76 career playoff points rank second in franchise history, and Marner became only the fifth player in NHL history to record at least 14 assists in his first 15 postseason games with a team.

The Golden Knights beat the Colorado Avalanche, 3-1, in Game 2 of the Western Conference Final on Friday at Ball Arena. The Golden Knights lead the best-of-seven series, 2-0.

Ross Colton opened the scoring with under three minutes remaining in the first period to give Colorado a 1-0 lead, but the Golden Knights responded with three unanswered goals in the third period to secure a 3-1 victory and a 2-0 series lead in the Western Conference Final. Jack Eichel tied the game midway through the final frame off a setup from Pavel Dorofeyev before Ivan Barbashev scored the go-ahead goal just over two minutes later from the slot. Barbashev added an empty-net goal with 1:03 remaining to seal the win for Vegas. Carter Hart turned aside 29 of 30 shots and posted a .967 save percentage in the victory.

Barbashev led the way with two goals and an assist for his first three-point game of the 2026 Stanley Cup Playoffs, while Eichel recorded a goal and an assist to raise his postseason totals to 18 points (2G, 16A). Dorofeyev added two assists in the win as Vegas’ top line accounted for all three goals and combined for seven points.

The comeback marked the Golden Knights’ fourth third-period comeback win of the postseason, the most in a single playoff run in franchise history. Vegas also improved to 6-0 all-time when taking a 2-0 series lead. Eichel recorded the 60th and 61st playoff points of his career, becoming the third American-born player to reach the mark in 54 games played.

The Golden Knights opened the Western Conference Final with a 4-2 win over the Avalanche in Game 1 on Wednesday night at Ball Arena. The Golden Knights lead the best-of-seven series, 1-0.

After a scoreless first period, Dylan Coghlan opened the scoring with 7:31 remaining in the second, ripping home a wrist shot off a pass from Brandon Saad for his first career NHL postseason goal. Less than three minutes later, Mitch Marner found Pavel Dorofeyev in space on the power play, and Dorofeyev buried his NHL-leading 10th playoff goal to extend the Vegas Golden Knights lead to 2-0. Just 1:34 into the third period, Brett Howden knocked down a rebound and backhanded the puck into an open net to make it 3-0. Valeri Nichushkin and Gabriel Landeskog scored for the Colorado Avalanche later in the third, but Nic Dowd sealed the 4-2 victory with an empty-net goal after winning a race to negate an icing attempt from Jack Eichel. Carter Hart stopped 36 of 38 shots for his ninth win of the postseason and a .947 save percentage.

Dorofeyev became the fifth player in franchise history to score 10 goals in a single postseason, while Howden recorded his third game-winning goal of the playoffs, tying a franchise record, and extended his road goal streak to six games. Marner continues to lead the NHL with 19 playoff points (7G, 12A), and Eichel paces the league with 15 postseason assists. Hart now ranks second in the NHL with 358 saves this postseason.

The Vegas Golden Knights took down the Anaheim Ducks, 5-1, in Game 6 of the Second Round series on Thursday night at Honda Center to win the series, 4-2, and clinch their spot in the Western Conference Finals.

Mitch Marner gave the Vegas Golden Knights an early spark just over a minute into Game 6, finishing a breakaway after a stretch pass from William Karlsson. Brett Howden doubled the lead with his league-leading third shorthanded goal of the postseason before Shea Theodore made it 3–0 late in the opening period with a wrist shot from the blue line. The Anaheim Ducks answered in the second period through Mikael Granlund, but Pavel Dorofeyev restored the three-goal cushion early in the third and added another later in the frame to seal a 5–1 series-clinching victory. Carter Hart stopped 31 of 32 shots as Vegas advanced to the Western Conference Final.

Marner finished with a goal and an assist to extend his NHL-leading postseason point total to 18 (7G, 11A). Dorofeyev scored twice for the second straight game and moved into sole possession of the league lead in playoff goals with nine. Howden added his eighth postseason goal, while Theodore’s tally marked his 19th career playoff goal with Vegas, the most by a defenseman in franchise history.

The Golden Knights defeated the Ducks in six games after opening the series with a 3–1 win in Game 1 before closing it out with the Game 6 victory at Honda Center. Vegas has now advanced to the Western Conference Final for the fifth time in franchise history.

The Vegas Golden Knights beat the Anaheim Ducks, 3-2, in overtime in Game 5 of the Second Round series on Tuesday night at T-Mobile Arena to take a 3-2 series lead.

Beckett Sennecke opened the scoring on the power play to give the Anaheim Ducks a 1-0 lead late in the first period, but Pavel Dorofeyev responded less than four minutes later with a power-play goal of his own to tie the game at 1-1. After a scoreless second period, Tomas Hertl buried a loose puck at 4:48 of the third frame to give the Vegas Golden Knights their first lead of the night. Anaheim answered late in regulation as Olen Zellweger scored with 3:05 remaining to force overtime. Just over four minutes into the extra period, Dorofeyev netted the game-winning goal after Jack Eichel kept the play alive in the offensive zone and found him near the crease, lifting Vegas to a 3-2 Game 5 victory. Carter Hart turned aside 34 of 36 shots and posted a .944 save percentage in the win.

Dorofeyev recorded his first career playoff overtime winner and increased his postseason goal total to seven, tying Brett Howden for the league lead. Hertl scored in back-to-back games, while Eichel collected two assists to raise his NHL-leading postseason assist total to 14, tied for the third most in a single playoff run in franchise history. Eichel also leads the league with six assists on game-tying goals this postseason. The Vegas Golden Knights secured their third consecutive overtime victory, tying the franchise record set during the 2023 postseason.

The Vegas Golden Knights fell to the Anaheim Ducks, 4-3, in Game 4 of the Second Round series on Sunday night at Honda Center.

Beckett Sennecke opened the scoring with a first-period power-play goal for Anaheim before Pavel Dorofeyev answered less than two minutes later with a power-play tally of his own off a rebound created by Jack Eichel. Mikael Granlund restored the Ducks’ lead late in the opening frame, but Brett Howden tied the game again in the second period after William Karlsson threaded a pass to the slot.

Alex Killorn’s late second-period power-play goal gave Anaheim the lead for good, and Ian Moore extended the advantage early in the third with his first goal of the playoffs. Tomas Hertl pulled Vegas within one with 1:04 remaining after finishing a rebound off a Mitch Marner rush chance, but the Golden Knights could not find the equalizer as the Ducks earned a 4-3 win in Game 4 to even the Second Round series at 2-2.

The Golden Knights took Game 3 in a commanding 6-2 victory over the Anaheim Ducks in the Second Round series on Friday night at Honda Center. The Golden Knights lead the best-of-seven series 2-1.

Shea Theodore opened the scoring just 1:06 into the game to give the @GoldenKnights a 1-0 lead, finishing a cross-slot sequence set up by Mark Stone and Jack Eichel. Brayden McNabb extended the lead late in the first period with a shorthanded goal off a Mitch Marner rush entry, and Marner then made it 3-0 with five seconds remaining in the frame on the power play after a loose puck was sent back to him by Pavel Dorofeyev.

Marner continued his dominant night in the second period, scoring twice more to complete a natural hat trick and push Vegas ahead 5-0. His second goal came off a Brett Howden-to-Theodore setup, and his third came from behind the net off a William Karlsson feed. Anaheim responded in the third period with goals from Beckett Sennecke and Chris Kreider to cut the deficit to 5-2, before Brett Howden sealed the 6-2 win with an empty-net goal.

Mitch Marner finished with his first career playoff hat trick plus an assist for a four-point night, now up to 13 points (6G, 7A) in the postseason. Brayden McNabb’s shorthanded goal marked the third of the playoffs for the Golden Knights, a franchise record for a single postseason. Shea Theodore added a goal and an assist, giving him seven points (3G, 4A) in the playoffs, while Carter Hart made 30 saves on 32 shots to secure the win with a .938 save percentage.

Marner also became the first player in Golden Knights history to record three or more points in consecutive road playoff games, while he and Brett Howden now share the team lead with six goals apiece. Mark Stone recorded his 40th career playoff assist, moving into a tie for fourth in franchise postseason history, and Theodore’s opening goal at 1:06 marked the fastest VGK goal since Round 2, Game 6 of the 2023 playoffs.

The Vegas Golden Knights fell to the Anaheim Ducks, 3-1, in Game 2 of their Second Round series on Wednesday night at T-Mobile Arena, tying the series 1-1.

Neither team broke through in the opening frame, but Beckett Senecke gave Anaheim their first goal of the night with 8:37 remaining in the second period. The Ducks doubled their advantage at 6:34 of the third period with a goal by Leo Carlsson to go up 2-0. Jansen Harkins scored an empty netter with 3:30 left in the contest, stretching the Anaheim lead to three. Mark Stone tallied a power-play goal by tipping a shot from Jack Eichel with five seconds remaining to break up the shutout, but Anaheim took the 3-1 win.

Marner sealed the 3-1 victory with an empty-net goal in the final seconds, while Carter Hart made 33 saves on 34 shots for a .971 save percentage to earn the win. Marner finished with a goal and an assist, giving him five points (3G, 2A) over his last two games, Barbashev extended his point streak to seven games (3G, 4A) with the winner, and Howden’s opening tally was his fifth goal of the postseason.

The Vegas Golden Knights eliminated the Utah Mammoth, 5-1, in Game 6 of their First Round series on Friday night at the Delta Center. The Golden Knights won the best-of-seven series 4-2.

Brett Howden opened the scoring with 4:58 remaining in the first period, finishing a play off the end boards after a setup involving Mark Stone and Mitch Marner to give Vegas a 1-0 lead. Marner extended the advantage late in the second period, wiring a top-shelf slap shot from the right circle off a feed from Ivan Barbashev with 45 seconds left to make it 2-0. Utah got on the board at 7:41 of the third when Kailer Yamamoto cut the deficit to 2-1, but Colton Sissons responded just over two minutes later, burying a rebound off a Brayden McNabb shot to restore a 3-1 edge.

Marner added his second of the night on the power play with 7:51 remaining, finishing a rebound in the slot after a Shea Theodore one-timer set up by Jack Eichel to push the lead to 4-1. Cole Smith sealed the win with an empty-net goal, and Carter Hart turned aside 22 of 23 shots (.957) as Vegas closed out the series. Marner led the way with two goals and an assist for his first three-point game of the postseason, while Howden continued his hot stretch with his fifth point in the last three games. Sissons’ goal gave him four points in the series, and Ivan Barbashev extended his point streak to six games.

With the victory, the Golden Knights advanced to the Second Round for the sixth time in franchise history and have now won 13 of their last 19 playoff series. Mark Stone recorded his 39th playoff assist with the club, ranking among the franchise leaders, while Jack Eichel tied a team record with eight assists in a single series. Marner’s three-point performance matched the most ever by a Golden Knight in a series-clinching game, and Vegas’ depth continued to shine, with the fourth line contributing six goals over the six-game series.

The Vegas Golden Knights took down the Utah Mammoth in double overtime with a 5-4 win in Game 5 of the First Round on Wednesday night at T-Mobile Arena to take a 3-2 lead in the series.

Pavel Dorofeyev led the way with his first career playoff hat trick, including the game-tying goal in the final minute of regulation to force overtime. Utah responded with two third-period goals to take a 4-3 advantage before Dorofeyev completed the hat trick in the final minute of regulation to send the game to overtime.

Shea Theodore recorded a goal and an assist, including his 10th career playoff go-ahead goal — the most among active defensemen — while Jack Eichel added two assists to become the franchise leader in multi-assist playoff games (11) and move into a tie for second in postseason assists in team history (40). Carter Hart made 34 saves in the win, stopping all 12 shots he faced across both overtime periods.

The Vegas Golden Knights evened their First Round series at 2-2 with a 5-4 overtime win against the Utah Mammoth in Game 4, as Shea Theodore scored the game-winner with less than a minute remaining in overtime. Howden led the way with two goals and an assist, while Jack Eichel recorded three assists, including on the overtime winner. Dorofeyev and Smith each scored their first goals of the series, with Smith notching his first career postseason tally.

Utah built a 4-0 advantage behind goals from MacKenzie Weegar, Dylan Guenther, and two from Lawson Crouse before Vegas mounted a late push. Jack Eichel got the Golden Knights on the board with 6:40 remaining in the second period, converting a rebound in the crease on a backhand. Nic Dowd pulled Vegas within two with just over three minutes left in regulation, finishing a centering feed from Reilly Smith, but Utah held off the comeback to secure the win.

The Vegas Golden Knights opened the 2026 Stanley Cup Playoffs with a 4-2 victory over the Utah Mammoth in Game 1 of their first-round series on Sunday night at T-Mobile Arena. Vegas leads the series, 1-0.

Logan Cooley gave Utah a 1-0 lead late in the first period, but Colton Sissons tied the game at 3:44 of the second. The Vegas Golden Knights (37-26-17) clinched a berth in the 2026 Stanley Cup Playoffs with a 3–2 overtime win over the Colorado Avalanche (52-16-11) at Ball Arena, extending their point streak to eight games.

Colorado opened the scoring on a power play, but Mark Stone answered with a power-play goal late in the first. Pavel Dorofeyev gave Vegas a 2–1 lead early in the second with his team-leading 36th goal of the season, before the Avalanche evened the score later in the period. After a scoreless third, Jack Eichel ended it 1:19 into overtime with an unassisted, end-to-end rush for his third overtime winner of the season.

Carter Hart stopped 30 of 32 shots for a .938 save percentage and improved to 4-0-0 since returning from injury. Stone’s goal pushed him to 70 points (27G, 43A) in 58 games, while Dorofeyev set a new career high with 36 goals. The playoff berth marks the eighth in nine seasons for Vegas, making them just the fourth team in NHL history to reach the postseason at least eight times in their first nine years.

The Vegas Golden Knights (36-26-17) fell, 4-3, in a shootout to the Seattle Kraken (33-34-11) on Thursday evening at Climate Pledge Arena.

Mark Stone scored twice in the opening 20 minutes — including a power-play goal just 55 seconds into the second period — to give Vegas a 2-0 lead. Seattle responded late in the middle frame, as Jared McCann cut the deficit to one with a power-play tally.

Brett Howden restored a two-goal cushion early in the third, finishing off an odd-man rush, but the Kraken rallied with goals from Berkly Catton and Bobby McMann to tie the game at 3-3 and force overtime. After a scoreless extra frame, Catton netted the shootout winner in the fifth round to lift Seattle to a 4-3 victory.

The Vegas Golden Knights (36-26-15) beat the Vancouver Canucks (22-47-8), 2-1, on Tuesday night at Rogers Arena to sweep the season series. 

Vegas erased a 1-0 deficit in the second period and held on late to secure a 2-1 win over Vancouver. After Max Sasson opened the scoring for Vancouver, Brayden McNabb answered less than three minutes later with his fifth goal of the season, matching his career high. Cole Smith then delivered the game-winner with 7:47 remaining in regulation, capitalizing on a neutral zone takeaway and a feed from Nic Dowd.

Carter Hart stopped 10 of 11 shots to earn his third straight victory, including a perfect final frame, while Vegas’ defense closed the door by killing a late penalty. The Golden Knights limited Vancouver to just 11 shots — the fewest allowed in franchise history.

The win pushes Vegas into a tie for the Pacific Division lead and extends several streaks, including a 4-0-0 start under head coach John Tortorella and seven consecutive victories over Vancouver dating back to last season. Smith’s goal also marked the team’s league-leading 100th third-period tally of the year.

The Vegas Golden Knights (35-26-15) downed the Edmonton Oilers (39-29-9), 5-1, on Saturday at Rogers Place.

Vegas took control early and never let up, opening the scoring midway through the first period when Brett Howden buried a rebound off a Jack Eichel chance. Colton Sissons doubled the lead six minutes into the second, finishing a rush that began with Jeremy Lauzon and Mitch Marner breaking out of the defensive zone. Just two minutes later, Lauzon made it 3-0, skating into space up the middle and firing home his first goal of the season from above the hash marks.

Edmonton got on the board late in the second period through Evan Bouchard, but Vegas quickly responded in the third. Mark Stone extended his point streak with a deflection goal early in the frame, and Rasmus Andersson capped the scoring late with a blast off a cross-ice feed from Ivan Barbashev, with Noah Hanifin also picking up an assist.

Jack Eichel led the way offensively with three assists, while Barbashev contributed helpers on both third-period goals. The Vegas Golden Knights (34-26-15) erased multiple deficits and surged late to beat the Calgary Flames (31-36-8), 6-3, on Thursday night at T-Mobile Arena.

Morgan Frost opened the scoring for the Flames in the first period, but Mitch Marner responded early in the second, tipping home a Shea Theodore shot to even things up. Calgary regained the lead in the middle frame on a goal from Blake Coleman, but Mitch Marner answered with a one-timer off a feed from Rasmus Andersson. Coleman struck again to restore the Flames’ advantage, before Pavel Dorofeyev tied the game 3-3 late in the period with a power-play blast from the right circle.

Vegas took control in the third period, beginning with Brett Howden’s go-ahead goal from the slot. Ivan Barbashev added insurance off a rebound, and Marner capped off a dominant night with a wrap-around goal to complete his hat trick and seal the win. Carter Hart earned the victory in his return from injury, stopping 19 of 22 shots.

Marner led the way with five points (3G, 2A), marking his 25th multi-point game of the season, the second most in a single season in VGK history. Dorofeyev’s goal was his 35th of the year and his 19th on the power play, while Howden’s tally stood as the game-winner. Mark Stone also hit a milestone with his 700th career point, and Shea Theodore became the first player in Golden Knights history to reach 301 assists.

In net, Adin Hill earned his 10th win of the year, stopping 22 of 24 shots for a .917 save percentage. Andersson extended his scoring streak to back-to-back games, while Smith’s goal stood as the game-winner — his third of the season and 24th of his career, moving him into fourth place in franchise history. Ivan Barbashev and Cole Smith also made an impact physically, recording seven hits each as Vegas secured its sixth straight win over Vancouver.

The Vegas Golden Knights (32-26-14) fell to the Winnipeg Jets (30-29-12), 4-1, on Tuesday evening at Canada Life Centre.

The Vegas Golden Knights (32-25-14) earned two points in their 3-2 victory over the Dallas Stars (43-16-11) on Sunday at American Airlines Center.

The Golden Knights opened the scoring early as Brayden McNabb netted his fourth of the season, carrying the puck end-to-end before beating Casey DeSmith. Dallas responded with a power-play goal from Wyatt Johnston and took the lead later in the first on a tally by Justin Hryckowian. Vegas answered in the second period when Ivan Barbashev buried a power-play one-timer off a feed from Brett Howden to even the game at two.

In the third, Reilly Smith delivered the game-winner with under four minutes remaining, capitalizing on a loose puck created by Mitch Marner. Adin Hill secured the win in net with 13 saves, while Barbashev reached the 20-goal mark and Marner recorded his 70th point of the season.

Nashville jumped out to a 1-0 lead just 20 seconds in and never looked back. Steven Stamkos scored twice, while Tyson Jost added a shorthanded goal and Ryan O’Reilly made it 4-1 before the third. Justus Annunen stopped 39 of 40 Vegas shots. 

Shea Theodore had the lone goal for the Golden Knights who have lost three consecutive games and have scored one goal during that span. Akira Schmid made 16 saves.

The Vegas Golden Knights (31-24-14) were blanked by the Utah Mammoth (36-27-6), 4-0, on Thursday at T-Mobile Arena.

Karel Vejmelka stopped all 28 shots he faced to record his second shutout of the season. Clayton Keller scored twice early in the first period, while Jack McBain added another to make it 3-0 and chase Adin Hill, who allowed three goals on three shots. Barrett Hayton had a goal and an assist, including an empty-netter late in the third.

Akira Schmid made 14 saves in relief for Vegas, which has now been shut out in consecutive home games.

The Vegas Golden Knights (31-23-14) were shut out, 2-0, by the Buffalo Sabres (42-20-6) on Tuesday night at T-Mobile Arena.

Josh Doan scored Buffalo’s first goal unassisted with less than two minutes remaining in the first period. Marner and Stone each recorded two assists, while eight different Golden Knights skaters collected points in the first period.
