On this weeks episode we're talking about the Armor of God and we read from Ephesians 6.

The "Armor of God" is a biblical metaphor used by the Apostle Paul to describe the spiritual tools and defenses that Christians are encouraged to "put on" to stand firm against spiritual challenges and temptations.

Paul’s main points:
—be strong in the Lord
—put on the armor
—take your stand
—stay alert
—keep praying

The Armor of God:
The belt of truth
The breast plate of righteousness
Shoes of the gospel of peace
The shield of faith
The helmet of salvation
The sword of the Spirit

today we're talking about grief.

Definition of grief— Grief is the anguish experienced after significant loss, often times the death of a beloved person. Deep distress, an unfortunate outcome, a cause for suffering.

Examples of grief— losing a loved one due to illness, death, or divorce; the ending of a meaningful relationship such as a friendship; being laid off from work or having a dream fall apart, getting injured when you were meant to play sports professionally, planning on having a family and realizing that’s not a possibility for you based on things happening within your own body, etc

grief can be a killer. but Jesus is Lord. even over your grief.
“He was despised and rejected by men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief, and as one from whom men hide their faces he was despised, and we esteemed him not. Surely, he has borne our griefs and carried our sorrows… he was wounded for our transgressions; he was crushed for our iniquities; upon him was the chastisement that brought us peace, and with his stripes, we are healed” Isaiah 53: 3-5

to be in the world, and not of it.

there's a scary amount of people in the world who still don't know Jesus.
