Parenting is super challenging. There are always going to be ups and downs. Our kids will often do things that stress us out, frustrate us and make life difficult for us.
This is when it's important for us to be centered and come from a place of deep understanding. Even when things appear like they're not okay it is a part of the natural process of our kids development.
In this audio I give some ideas around how to relate to those moments when things are not okay.

S06E01 - The idea of "Loving Limits" is quite prevalent in the gentle parenting world these days. This is when we say no to our kids about something and they complain, cry, scream and or beg, and we hold firm to the limit while validating their feelings.
Gentle Parenting is operating from a whole different mindset. It is not traditional parenting done gently. We don't want our kids to feel us as authority figures that have power and control over them. We want them to feel we are walking alongside them as friends and Wise Guides.
