The Worst Games I Have Ever Played
09 Sep 2026
00:39:17
Everyone that talks/writes/makes videos about video games has to talk about it at some point. Honestly, I'm a little surprised it's taken me this long, but I've finally mustered the courage to talk about the games that I, personally, think are the worst I've ever played.
Castlevania has shared a lot of the spotlight with Metroid this year, but now it gets its own time in the spotlight. Was Super Castlevania IV, in fact, Super?

It's time to get back into the ring with a 10-round fight between two awesome GBA Metroidvanias. Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow and Metroid: Zero Mission were both outstanding, but which will come out on top?
This week, we look at Skeleton Krew, an isometric run and gun game for the Sega Genesis. Like many things in the 90's, it was entirely too cool to use the letter C, but was it a good game?
This week, we start our look at Vagrant Story, a very unique RPG for the PlayStation. Part 1 will cover story and characters, with a final score coming next week.
It took some maneuvering, but I finally got an episode up for Metroid Fusion. I'd like to preemptively apologize for the quality of the audio here...but was the game at least good?
This week, it's back to the TurboGrafx-16 for another shoot 'em up. Blazing Lazers was one of the more well renowned titles for the console. Did it deserve its accolades?
It might not be super scary, but few series' have roots in classic horror like Castlevania. Did Circle of the Moon, an entry for the Game Boy Advance, impress?
I still can't believe it, but it's been 30 years since the Sony PlayStation arrived in North America. We know all of the classics, but what are some of the hidden gems for the iconic console?
It's back to game reviews this week, for part one of our look at PlayStation RPG Valkyrie Profile. We will start by taking a look at the story and characters of this Norse-inspired title that is frequently cited as a hidden gem.
It's once again back to the 90's to look at one of the decade's most popular genres: 2D fighters. Was Garou (or was that Fatal Fury?) Mark of the Wolves a strong example of the genre? Or did it fall flat.
The hotly anticipated Magic: The Gathering - Final Fantasy will soon be upon us. I'm so pumped that I am going to rank all 161 new legends based on how they will perform as commanders. It's time to see which commander came out on top. I can't describe all these cards in full detail, so you may want to check out the card gallery for reference:mtggoldfish.com/spoilers/Final+Fantasy

The hotly anticipated Magic: The Gathering - Final Fantasy will soon be upon us. I'm so pumped that I am going to rank all 161 new legends based on how they will perform as commanders. Part 1 starts us at the bottom of the list, but there is still some potential here. I can't describe all these cards in full detail, so you may want to check out the card gallery for reference:mtggoldfish.com/spoilers/Final+Fantasy
English translation patches have opened up a whole new world of gaming for me. Metal Max Returns never left Japan back in the day, but was it worth the wait?
Finally back this week to look at yet another Mega Man game. But this time, we are checking out a handheld console. Was Mega Man V (not to be confused with Mega Man 5) worth a playthrough?
