#111: More Than You Believe In Yourself: The Power of a Rebbe with Rabbi Shais Taub27 juin 202501:00:42

Send us a text

In this episode of From the Inside Out with Rivkah and Eda, we sat down with Rabbi Shais Taub for a powerful Gimmel Tammuz conversation that goes far beyond memory — and deep into mission.

What does it mean to live with the Rebbe today? How do we access his guidance, clarity, and belief in us — especially for those who never met him?

This isn’t just a conversation about the Rebbe’s teachings — it’s about what happens when someone sees your soul, knows your potential, and believes in you more than you believe in yourself.

We talk about soul work, burnout, dating, divine direction, and what it looks like to keep moving forward even when you don’t feel ready. Whether you’re in a season of doubt, transition, or spiritual searching — this episode will remind you that you're not alone, and that you're already more than enough.

A former Delaware native turned firearm-carrying settler and mother of five, Natalie lives in the Hebron Hills and serves as the director of development for emergency services across Judea and Samaria.

From teenage identity crises to vibrant life among the hills and goats, from dealing with fear to finding fierce purpose—Natalie’s story is raw, real, and deeply moving.

In this rich and nourishing episode of From The Inside Out with Rivkah and Eda, Nechama Schusterman joins us to explore how women can release the deep programming of lack and unworthiness—and come back to a place of inner fullness and divine feminine abundance.

Drawing deeply from the Chassidic teachings of the Lubavitcher Rebbe and the wisdom of Chabad Chassidus, Nechama shares a soulful and grounded approach to preparing for Pesach—not through pressure or perfectionism, but through presence, purpose, and inner peace.

Ep. 105: More Than a Dress Code: The True Measure of Modesty with Joyce Azria and Rivky Slonim21 mars 202502:11:23

Send us a text

Special thanks to Women of Iron Unite for making this episode possible. Founded on October 10th amid the pain of Operation Iron Sword, three courageous women from Crown Heights united to protect Eretz Yisroel by inspiring prayer, unity, and tznius within our community. Organized by Sarale Blau, Rivky Perl, and Ruthie Sperlin, their initiative continues to empower women to take small steps toward growth and holiness even in challenging times.

Modesty (tznius) is one of the most sensitive, often misunderstood topics in the Jewish world. It’s not just about clothing—it’s about identity, confidence, dignity, and connection to something deeper. In this thought-provoking episode of From the Inside Out, we sit down with two incredible guests: Rivky Slonim, a powerhouse in Jewish education, and Joyce Azria, former fashion executive turned modesty advocate. Together, we unravel the layers of tznius—why it’s challenging, what it truly means beyond fabric and rules, and how it can be a source of empowerment rather than restriction.

Joyce shares her journey from the high-fashion world to embracing modesty, revealing the unexpected luxury and confidence it brings. Rivka offers profound insights on what tznius really is (hint: it’s NOT just about covering up) and how it’s deeply tied to self-respect, spirituality, and personal growth. We also explore topics like navigating modesty in professional spaces, finding joy in mitzvos even when they feel hard, and how to inspire the next generation without force or judgment.

Rivkah Slonim is the Associate Director at the Chabad Center for Jewish Student Life at Binghamton University. An internationally known teacher, lecturer, and activist, she travels widely, addressing the intersection of traditional Jewish observance and contemporary life, with a special focus on Jewish women in Jewish law and life. Slonim is the editor of Total Immersion: A Mikvah Anthology and Bread and Fire; Jewish Women find God in the Everyday. Slonim and her husband are the grateful and proud parents of nine children. You can find more from Rivky Slonim here: https://www.chabad.org/search/keyword_cdo/kid/1328/jewish/Rivkah-Slonim.htm

Joyce Azria is a fashion and wellness entrepreneur, formerly the Creative Director of BCBGeneration and founder of Avec Les Filles and Amazon’s ROHB. Daughter of the late Max Azria, she grew up in ā€œfashion royalty,ā€ but her journey from Chanel to Shabbat reshaped her approach—shifting from creating value-driven brands to leading with her values as an Orthodox Jewish woman. Now co-founder of The Healer’s Collection, Joyce shares her passion, spirituality, and rich experiences to inspire audiences nationwide. She lives in Miami, Florida, with her children. You can find Joyce at her website here: https://www.joyceazria.com/

Ep. 104: Rewire Your Mind: Positivity, Bias, and Purpose Unlocked with Mendel Kalmenson07 mars 202501:12:17

Send us a text

In this episode of From The Inside Out Podcast with Rivkah and Eda, Rabbi Mendel Kalmenson, author of Positivity Bias, A Time to Heal, and On Purpose, explores the deeper meaning of positivity and purpose through the lens of the Lubavitcher Rebbe’s teachings. Drawing from his extensive study of the Rebbe’s wisdom, Rabbi Kalmenson challenges the common notion that positivity is naĆÆve, reframing it instead as positive theology—a perspective that reveals the deeper truth of reality rather than just a mindset shift.

He shares powerful insights on overcoming negativity bias, finding meaning in life’s struggles, and discovering one’s unique purpose. He explains how our talents, passions, personality traits, and even our greatest challenges are clues to our mission in this world. Through compelling stories and real-life examples, he illustrates how personal hardships can lead to transformation, how we can shift from survival mode to thriving, and why the Rebbe’s teachings are more relevant today than ever.

Rabbi Kalmenson’s work is rooted in his deep exploration of the Rebbe’s guidance, distilling its profound messages into practical wisdom for today’s world. Whether discussing healing, resilience, or personal growth, he brings to life the Rebbe’s perspective on how every individual has a vital role to play in the grand purpose of creation.

The result is a wine that is rich and flavorful, an absolute delight both to enjoy now and to age for many years to come.

Although the Jewish people have probably seen more wars than any other nation, they have always remained the most passionate about the idea of world peace, harmony, and respect among all peoples. The Jewish scriptures are filled with practical and theoretical knowledge about wars, which can and should be of use today. According to Judaism, some wars are not merely a human conflict but actually have a divine purpose. Winning a war, in that context, means overcoming the darkness and increasing the Godly light in the world. Ā In this episode , Manis shares lessons on winning wars( from the inside out).

After revamping a portion of their fleet into medical evacuation ATVs, they have saved over 180 wounded soldiers from inside Gaza. Though many of their activities continue to be classified, their reach doesn't stop there. YATAR also has forces deployed in the Judea and Samaria areas, patrolling and responding to threats. Dr. Assael and his wife Gila open up about their own struggles, sharing insightful tips on managing conflict, renegotiating needs, and the importance of effective communication. They introduce us to the concept of 'differentiation in relationships,' which they attribute as a significant factor in building their own strong connection. They aren’t shy about discussing self-esteem, self-validated intimacy, and even the uncomfortable weight gain discussions, giving us a real look at what it means to be in a longstanding, authentic partnership.

Dr. Assael, a renowned psychologist with decades of experience, brings his expertise and unique perspective to our conversation. Galit is an accomplished researcher and advocate for mental health. She complements Dr. Assael's knowledge with her passion for understanding the intricacies of the human mind. Together, they explore a wide range of topics, including relationships, personal growth, mindfulness, and navigating the challenges of modern life.

Do you or a family member struggle with anxiety, chronic pain, brain fog, overwhelm, lack of drive, or sleeplessness Have you tried different therapies or programs and nothing seems to work? Frequently these issues are caused by previous negative experiences that the individual has gone through, which have left a strong impression on the body. If these negative experiences are not processed, they can show up in many different ways, such as, anxiety, depression, anger, addiction, or chronic pain.

Has it ever happened to you that you feel upset or frustrated, or irritated all day for no apparent reason?Ā  Then you think about it and realize that at 7:30 in the morning someone made a snide comment to you and it lingered.Ā  You never had a chance to deal with it and it frustrated you and colored everything that you did that day.

Now imagine that morning’s experience that triggered that emotion, was not only from that day, but was a build up of experiences from the past ten years.

These emotions, caused by negative experiences have become part of your subconscious and linger and clog up your system. They affect your day to day thoughts and feelings and body functions in a negative way.

In this episode, Moshe Weinbaum shares his journey of healing through the emotion code, and how he harnessed the emotion code to help countless people in their healing journey.
