I speak to my trainer, my mentor, one of the most influential people not only in my wrestling life but my real one. A man who has trained the very foundations of what made british wrestling today, taught names such as WWE's Drew McIntyre, Justin Gabriel, Paul Burchill and endless more. Graham Hughes is a survivor. 20 years in the wrestling business, starting out at the peak of the Britwres rebirth, Graham has survived some of the harshest intro into the business and has managed to not only remain in wrestling 2 decades n but thrive and create a legacy on the other side of the world.   

In this episode, we discuss, very frankly and openly, Graham's beginnings, his struggles and sufferings just to get through his first years and his journey onwards into a successful trainer and promoter in New Zealand.

I've known Eden since day 1 on the Eden journey, from starting training with me at UBW to becoming the most dominant wrestler of UBW's entire 2019 to the big emigration to the land of opportunity the USA.

10 podcast episodes, 20 years of The New Breed and almost 30 years of friendship. It's all led to this, the man who I started my entire wrestling journey with and have shared my entire adult life with, my best friend, Phil Bedwell. A mammoth 2 and a half hours in which we literally only barely covered a fraction of our time together and career but still talked about the genesis of our start in wrestling, our rise to the top of the UK scene in the FWA, our blood feud in EWW which transcended wrestling feuds and how we have been almost symbiotic with one another since school.

This is the most personal and deepest dive podcast I have done yet and I opened up in this conversation in ways I never imagined.
