This episode we are joined by Monica Cox, Functional Diagnostic Nutrition Practitioner and Infertility Expert.
Monica was told that she had unexplained infertility and was recommended IVF treatments. After two failed rounds that she and her husband paid for out of pocket, Monica became frustrated that the doctors weren’t trying anything new. That’s when a friend recommended her to a functional medicine practitioner.
Gut health was never something that Monica thought would be an issue. She had a healthy diet, or at least she thought she did. From there, Monica went on a journey of altering her diet and lifestyle to improve her gut health. The mother of two now uses her knowledge and experience to guide other women with infertility and help them find the information that she struggled so much finding herself.
Joins us this week as Monica shares her journey of infertility and how changing her diet was her key for success.

| It’s a lifestyle, not a Diet with Lauren Hubert | 01 Oct 2021 | 00:31:10 | |
In this episode, we are joined by Lauren Hubert, the Sorority Nutritionist. Lauren is a registered dietitian and online weight loss coach and is currently on a mission to change the way we talk about weight loss and the modern “diet culture”.
After gaining nearly 20 pounds as a freshman, Lauren was left struggling with her self-confidence and insecurity. Determined to lose weight, she began running for hours every day and cutting out calories from her diet, leading her to be super restrictive with her food choices and even scared to grab a drink with her sorority sisters. It wasn’t until she began studying nutrition that she realized her diet was a hot mess express and she was going about eating/exercising all wrong!
Join us as we discuss how Larens expertise also relates to the world of pregnancy, postpartum and your TTC journey!
It’s never too late to get healthy!
