There has been a gourmand awakening in our lives that involves Jelly Belly jellybeans, perfumes, and even a body butter. We're not sure what's going on but we're leaning into it. We also discuss a couple of perfumes we used to think were quite similar but realize we were way off. All that, a few movie references, and of course, The Game. Back from a little break with lots to discuss. We go through some of the perfumes we've received recently from both brands and friends while bringing up some thoughts and theories on aroma-chemicals and potential trends. Thank goodness for Christina from Dry Down Diaries, this episode's benefactor, for spoiling us with such great samples. We also share a new line of room sprays that elevates home scents to a new level. Oh, and The Game as usual. Featured Links: Scents Mentioned In This Episode: The Game:

Changing up our habits this week by recording during the day as we adjust to a new schedule. In other words, we had to trade in our Manhattans for tea. In this episode, Jeff finally finds his magnolia scent, and we go through the discover set from Le PÈRE. Spoiler alert: We love it! We also rattle off what we've been wearing as we deal with the 100 degree weather here in Texas. Oh, and then The Game. Shout-outs to Lisa, Holly, Joseph, Tracy, and Brady. We've kept it a bit closer to home in this installment of Fragraphilia & Friends with Dallas based Rachel Green, founder and CEO of the popular new brand L'Epoque Parfums. Find out about Rachel's remarkably fast pace from conception to launch, her desire to have fun with it along the way, and for the fans of her line, plenty of hints for what's in the works in the months to come. Oh yeah, and The Game too! Truly a pleasure to visit with Rachel and we can't wait to share a few (or maybe just one) Manhattans with her again soon. From start to finish, perfume to perfume, this may be our most satisfying episode we've ever recorded. It's also longer than usual but every perfume we tried was a hit and our favorite was probably the last. Or, maybe it was the first because we finally added a bottle we've been talking about for months. Regardless, every one was a winner, even during The Game Special Request - What are your favorite goth and spooky perfumes? Email or DM us please. Are there perfumes you'd want backup bottles of should they ever become discontinued or limited? Thank you, Listener Lisa, for the great question. We discuss a few we'd select and whether or not it's best to just let the past be the passed. We also ordered a few vintage classics that definitely didn't disappoint. Finally, Paraphrase has a new vanilla perfume being release in early July named Vanilla Virtu that has rocketed to the top of our vanilla chart. All that and The Game. | I Looked It Up, Everyone Survived | 12 juin 2026 | 01:14:57
It's been a wonderful couple of weeks with new and new-to-us releases from smaller niche houses. From the incredible packaging and nightlife nostalgia of El Morocco to the otherworldly influences of Rite of Way and Sorce, we've been really impressed with a number of perfumes we've been blessed to receive lately. Plus a little rant (again) about AI marketing in the perfume space and some strong contenders featured in The Game. Perfumes Mentioned In This Episode: The Game:

Recorded after a whirlwind scent tour at Neiman Marcus and Maison Martin Margiela, we discuss the many perfumes we sampled and spritzed throughout that day before we highlight a few favorites from our cabinet and the fragrances we've worn most from the past week. All that and The Game, and oh, a special cocktail recipe that really needs a proper name. **CORRECTION NOTES: Jeff mentioned that Quentin Bisch had become the lead perfumer at Hermes during this episode based on a rumor from 2025 that has proven to be incorrect. Hard charging towards the end of the year, we dive into our most worn perfumes of 2025 and then steer right into the macabre as we discuss our death bed fragrances. Like the memories that will pass before our eyes, we travel that journey through scents and perfumes. Also, as we still live and breathe, we talk about the scents we've been wearing lately and a candle that has really burned its way into our hearts. All that and a very skin scent edition of The Game. We've been so excited to discuss the newest release from Paraphrase Perfumes, Fruit Thieves, which was totally worth all the customs delays. Thanks to Josh who kindly sent it to us as a gift. We also dip our toes in the water of the ever-present topic of dupes and how they play into the manosphere and Reddit sales. As fun as that seems, most of this episode is heavy on Parfum d'Empire as we talk about a few we've been testing and really enjoying. Plus, our scents of the week and pretty solid round of The Game. This is an episode about a girl who has been on a quest to find her next full bottle purchase. This is also an episode about the paralysis of choice. Luckily, we have a little time, some microphones, and a few people out there willing to hear her story. Also, The Game this week doesn't help shorten the list, that's for sure, but I think we make it out with her selections (kinda). | It Smells LIke the Scariest Night of Your Life | 20 juin 2025 | 01:17:30
We speak a bit more about brands and perfumes in general rather than specific releases this episode but we wanted to discuss design, bottles, and what piques our interest when we are shopping new houses and fragrances. Preferences that go beyond just the note list. We also discuss dabbers and our best approach at maximizing their wear in response to a listener message. Spoiler Alert - We're no help! For The Game, I'm not sure the room has ever smelled better as we sample some classics and a couple of surprises. Seriously, it still smells great and I'm writing this hours after recording. | Haters That Are Formed And Haters That Are Born | 06 juin 2025 | 01:11:06
In this episode we discuss a few new to us perfumes from the houses of Aedes de Venustas and Reservation, the latter being a new brand that keeps popping up on our social feeds, and we are very impressed by both. A couple even rocketed up our respective want lists. Also, Jeff is looking for some magnolia perfumes and Jane discusses a new favorite from Trudon composed by Lyn Harris back in 2017. During The Game, we are challenged by an old world recipe, note lists that scare us a bit, and one that's probably more suited for a night out than an afternoon at the playground with your toddler. | Fragra-Files 003: Régime des Fleurs | 23 mai 2025 | 01:19:00
We are so excited to feature one of our most favorite houses in our third edition of Fragra-Files, Régime des Fleurs. After launching in 2014, the line has expanded and evolved year over year into one of the most consistently high level luxury perfume brands on the market today. With watery roses, dewy green white florals, and sharp earthy woods, Régime des Fleurs and Alia Raza bring something unique to niche perfumery that is often classic, sometimes mysterious, and always effortlessly chic. Listen as we go through the current lineup, discuss a couple of limited Fait Main releases, and lament a missed opportunity to buy one that was discontinued long ago. I'm not going to sugarcoat it, this episode takes a bit of a somber turn again, this time around the 30 minute mark but we do manage to spend most of it talking about the fragrances we've tested, worn, and even a few we regret. | Hug Your Dogs | 18 avr. 2025 | 01:21:09
An episode recorded with a heavy heart as we had to say goodbye to Jane's chihuahua, Jimmy Wilkins, who lived life with gusto for 17 years, most of which were in Jane's lap, arms, or bedside. We are absolutely heartbroken but extremely grateful for the years he blessed us with his giant personality and even bigger smile. Rest in power, Jimmy (2008 - 2025). To get us through the evening, we decided to pour a couple of proper gin martinis, grab some samples for The Game, and take a tour of some of our favorite white florals from our collection. After all, perfume has that wonderful way of bringing comfort, liveliness, and nostalgia, which is a big reason a lot of us enjoy it so much. Welcome to Fragraphilia, 2025. Let's talk "less is more" which is what we're hoping for this year. How about we sit back, slow down a bit, and talk longer about the perfumes we really love? We're all getting tired out here jumping from new to newer thing. Save your top 10 of this and that and give us what you're wearing today and why. Churn and burn has us concerned! Since we're sitting already, let's have a good round of The Game as well. Enjoy!

| Fragra-Files 002: The House of Celine | 31 juil. 2024 | 00:55:13 | |
The long overdue second installment of Fragra-Files featuring the perfumes of Hedi Slimane's Celine. An incredible collection of extremely thoughtful and luxurious scents that are both as gorgeous as they are incredibly consistent with their through-line of orris, musk and soft woody notes. But who is the perfumer behind these compositions and why are they so focused on youthful (and slender) beauty in their inspirations? Well, we have our thoughts and discuss at length as we go through the entire collection that has become a true favorite of Fragraphilia.

We're back again to talk about Acne Studio's new perfume announcement, how much we really like Régime des Fleurs latest Fait Main release, Green Vanille, and then we stumble down the rabbit hole of Matiere Premiere in an almost Fragra-Files episode style rundown of each scent. Why? Because we've been noticing some mixed feelings on the brand both online and in our DMs. Naturally, we decided to go through each one for our, and hopefully your, amusement. We start this one a bit off the rails with talk on why you make an Old Fashioned with sugar cubes, a mysterious scent wafting about in our home, and an experience with a haunted dog. Now that's what we call perfume podcasting! Once we settle into the actual program, we discuss Hiram Green's new fragrance announcement, baby perfumes, and what we're in the mood for by way of scentwear right now. Plus, we share our wonderment of Fragrantica's Instagram clone, Fragram. Oh, and we debate the idea of a peanut inspired perfume as it resurfaces unsavory peanut breath memories from Jane's childhood.
