The largest Midwinter festival in Candlekeep's history has been cancelled due to an unnatural snow storm that has left the keep buried in snow. But The Forgotten are on the case to save Midwinter!

The largest Midwinter festival in Candlekeep's history has been cancelled due to an unnatural snow storm that has left the keep buried in snow. But The Forgotten are on the case to save Midwinter!

Previously on Forgotten Tales, the Junior Adventurers began the long journey back to Candlekeep from near Neverwinter after helping a village of Locathah’s defend themselves against Sahuagin barbarians. At the time they were accompanied by Scuffy, who decided to leave the Junior Adventurers, saying he needed to rebuild his life after his daughter was killed and his business destroyed in the Ale Riots of Phandalin a couple weeks back - an event he discovered was linked to the Junior Adventurers. As they traveled they received a letter from Scuffy asking to meet him at his new shop in Longsaddle. When they arrived, everything went black and they found themselves in a maniacal escape room designed by Scuffy himself. When last we left our heroes they were in a room filled with mirrors that reflected their worst memories. As Twigsy reached for a key he saw inside the mirror, the mirrors attacked! Will our adventurers escape this dungeon? Will Scuffy be avenged? Will the junior adventurers learn their lesson? In an effort to find out more as to why The Forgotten have been thrown into conflict against The Enduring, Bazzun, Wohn, Wu and Targillian travel to Bazzun's former monastery. While they are there, they learn about the Rod of Radiance which was used to defeat Erasmus and the Enduring in the past, but its location is secret. Father Luceat, Bazzun's master shows them a stone called "The Seeking Stone" which is suppose to reveal the location of the Rod of Radiance but he is unsure how to activate it. He agrees to let them take it with them in the morning. Later that night, the Forgotten find the acolytes in the basement partying and playing games, including a new game called Monsters & Mazes. What kind of inception-esque, spaghetti-western, Kurosawa-like misadventures will the Forgotten get into?

As the Forgotten prepare to celebrate Midwinter, festivities are put on hold as all the Midwinter items and decorations go missing from Candlekeep! A string of mysterious events lead the Forgotten on an adventure to find out who stole Midwinter!

While escorting Targillian Strongheart back to Candlekeep after escaping Erasmus' extradimensional prison. Eirik Von Arkynson takes him on a quick quest on the way through the Sword Mountains. Along the way, they meet up with a mysterious druid and attempt to follow their cryptic map through the mountains which leads them to a long abandoned temple to the god, Savras.  What is Eirik up to on this episode of Forgotten Tales of the Forgotten Realms?

Last time on Forgotten Tales of the Forgotten Realms, Wohn’s past had reared its ugly head and Wohn chose to finally face it. This led the forgotten to the hills of Morgur’s Mound in search of Wohn’s former love interest, Aadria, who had been taken captive by the Vastrada family, an old enemy of Wohn’s. There they encountered barbarians of the Uthgardt tribes and were able to convince the barbarians to grant them safe passage. The barbarians led them to a network of caves where they had seen mysterious men coming in and out of. - a network of caves likely tunneled by a great worm.

The Forgotten found Aadria and released her. They were ready to leave when the cave began to shake violently and the entrance was blocked by boulders. Forced to go through the caves cause there was no other way out, and NOT because of a pitiful plead by the DM, the Forgotten encountered traps and enemies, including a small group of Wights bearing the symbol of the Enduring.

Where last we left our heroes, they had just saved Fest from a trap and continued moving forward. Tony’s wife joins us this session to play as Aadria, and I hope you will join us too as we found what happens this episode on The Forgotten Taeles of the Forgotten Realms.
