| No Saka, No Coleslaw | 10 Mar 2025 | 01:01:31 | |
Boyd and Josh are back with staunch guest Alan Alger who has some typically forthright views after our disappointing draw at Old Trafford. In fact we all have forthright views. We also discuss the Sky punditry and the free kick controversy and look ahead to what is a weird situation this week in the return leg of the Champions League tie v PSV, and the Chelsea game this weekend.

| Luke Does Arteta | 09 Nov 2022 | 00:58:53 | |
Boyd and Josh were thrilled to be joined by comedian and impressionist Luke Kempner as the trio revelled in Arsenal’s success at Stamford Bridge, which keeps the Gunners top of the table. There was a love-in for Ben White, Thomas Partey, William Saliba and of course Mikel Arteta whilst Boyd issues an apology for ever doubting our manager. A third of the way through the season, could the unthinkable become possible?

Boyd is joined by Ricky Lawrence and Adam Bernstein to discuss the pros and cons of player rotation, whether Jesus needs to score more goals and what might have happened if Arteta had got the job of Arsenal coach first time round instead of Adam’s favourite person, Unai Emery.

| Dribbling & Drawing | 24 Oct 2022 | 00:46:30 | |
Boyd and Josh were joined by friend of the show Jim Haryott AKA East Lower on Twitter. We discuss Arsenal's slightly disappointing draw down on the south coast in what was a blow to Arsenal's title hopes but remained a positive weekend in the top four race. It was also time for plenty of analysis from Boyd on what a 6pm kick off in the Europa League does to the food queues in club level. Thanks as always for listening and we'll be back next week.

| Happily E-VAR After | 17 Oct 2022 | 00:57:17 | |
Josh and Boyd were joined by friend of the podcast Gareth ‘The Bear’ Parker who had just returned from seeing Arsenal’s victory at Elland Road. We discussed Arsenal’s good fortune on a day where VAR was most certainly needed, as Gabriel once again gave us a scare with his late flick out at Patrick Bamford. Meanwhile we discuss exactly when we’ll agree Arsenal might, just might, be in a title race…

Boyd and Josh were joined by podcast regular Alan Alger who had all the stats you could possibly desire, as the trio rejoiced in Arsenal’s continued success following the extremely impressive performance against Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool side. The atmosphere gets ever better as do the performances on the pitch, and it really does feel a long time Willian.

| Conspiracy Theories are Back | 06 Sep 2022 | 01:07:53 | |
Boyd and Josh were joined by regular guests Alan Alger and Ricky Lawrence to dissect an all too familiar disappointment from a trip to Old Trafford, where Arsenal returned to London empty handed. Alan argues there is a conspiracy against the Gunners dating back a couple of decades. But there is an overriding sense of satisfaction as Arsenal remain top of the table. We also take a look ahead to Arsenal’s Europa League campaign starting on Thursday night..

Boyd is joined by Josh and guests Ricky Lawrence and Oli Shorts for a swift on-the-whistle analysis of our disappointing 0-0 draw with Nottingham Forest. And even more excitingly, Josh and Ricky are podcasting while on their electric car journey home from the City Ground as they were about to run out of juice. We did have time to lament the end of our title challenge while looking forward to the Champions League and coming up with some choice analogies. Thanks for listening!

The trio discuss Arsenal’s fine victory over Leicester City and the increasingly positive feel around the club. We spent the majority of the podcast reflecting on Paul’s brand new autobiography which is out this week - Arsenal and After, as Paul recalled some his favourite Arsenal moments and tales from on and off the pitch.

Boyd and Josh were joined by friend of the podcast Dean Allam - aka @AFCamden. The trio look back on an excellent start to the season with the Gunners enjoying a 2-0 success at Selhurst Park. The group also reflect on whether any further transfer business could yet be expected whilst also enjoying the lyrics for a new song about William Saliba. That was all before Boyd got into spoiler mode for the upcoming episodes for All or Nothing...

| Is 5th a Trophy? | 23 May 2022 | 01:15:07 | |
Boyd and Josh were joined by friend of the podcast Tim Payton to reflect on a season which for so long promised to return Arsenal to the height of European competition but will see the Gunners return only to the Europa League after a 5th placed finish.
Was it progress even without the distraction of any European football? Should the squad have been improved in January? Was Auba's sale the reason we fell short? Is Arteta definitely the right man to get to the next level? Can we bring ourselves to watch it all back on Amazon Prime's documentary?
Thank you for listening this season, we appreciate all your support and we'll be back again next year.

| The Price of Chips | 09 May 2022 | 00:58:19 | |
Boyd and Josh were joined by friend of the podcast Ricky Lawrence to reflect on an unexpectedly nervy victory against Leeds, which Boyd was watching like a naughty child on his phone whilst at the BAFTA awards.
There’s reflection on Eddie’s goals, the new Arsenal anthem, Josh’s Directors Box debut and some muted outrage about some £12.60 chips on sale at the stadium.
The three points leave Arsenal close to a Champions League spot and we’re all dreaming it’ll be secured on Thursday night.

| Eddie Burns Rice | 02 May 2022 | 01:00:46 | |
Boyd and Josh were joined by friend of the podcast Gareth ‘The Bear’ Parker to reflect on another successful week as the Gunners edged closer to a Champions League return with victory in East London.
The trio discuss if Eddie’s recent form could see him stay at the club after all, whether Tavares could be the new Eboue whilst Gareth sensationally claimed he didn’t mind if Arsenal come 5th.
It looks like it’s all boiling down to a visit to Spurs a week on Thursday, but the unity between fan and player hasn’t been so good in many a year and don’t forget, we’ve got Super Mik Arteta.

| XG Needs an Average Striker | 18 Apr 2022 | 00:39:32 | |
Boyd & Josh were joined by friend of the podcast Alan Alger to search for crumbs of comfort after another bleak result, this time on the south coast at the hands of Southampton.
A mammoth week ahead for the Gunners with games against Chelsea and Man United that will dictate the course of the season and whether big European nights could yet be returning to the Emirates next season.
We just need to score goals and our expected goals rating suggests they may be coming… though it seemingly relies on having an average striker.

| Felt Like a Funeral | 24 Feb 2025 | 00:58:39 | |
Boyd and Josh were joined by friend of the podcast sports commentator Trevor Harris to look back on what feels like a pivotal weekend in the Premier League title race as Arsenal fell to a shock 1-0 defeat at the hands of West Ham. We vent our frustrations at our lack of attacking options and query whether we should bemoan our luck or point the finger at Arteta, or perhaps more widely at the Club’s lack of transfer activity. Trevor believes Champion’s League qualification is not a formality while Boyd looks for positives from a miserable weekend.

| Car Chase | 21 Mar 2022 | 00:57:44 | |
Boyd and Josh were joined by friend of the podcast Alan Alger, to recap the defeat to Liverpool but a huge win to get back on track against Aston Villa.
Boyd sadly couldn’t see our best opportunity of the game to score against Liverpool despite being taken in a box by Amazon Prime, but he did spot some lip reading from Villa Park that went viral.
We chat about the continued race for fourth spot, give Leno credit on his Arsenal League return, ponder why Steve Gerrard was so spiky and enjoy the new Arsenal chant about Super Mick Arteta.

Boyd and Josh were joined by friend of the podcast Jim ‘East Lower’ to reflect on one of the great endings to any Emirates Stadium game with a last gasp victory over Wolves.
A rejuvenated Pepe, a brilliant cameo from Nketiah and leading from the front from Lacazette. The road to fourth took a big step forward.
There’s also reflection on the price increases for tickets at Arsenal and a nod to a rumoured Stella McCartney partnership.

Boyd and Josh were joined by friend of the podcast, marketing guru Nick True, who is back after nearly a year away to lavish praise on Mikel Arteta.
The Gunners swept aside Brentford in a one sided 2-1 victory that takes Arsenal a step closer to hopes of a top four finish, albeit tougher tests lie in wait.
We discussed the strain on Lacazette, the future of the armband and the risk the Gunners are building themselves up to fail.
Ultimately we’re all getting a bit excited.

Boyd and Josh were joined by friend of the podcast Ricky Lawrence as the trio discuss the ever increasing chances of a fourth placed finish and could there soon be a return to Champions League nights.
What of Martinelli’s strange red card at Wolves and the ongoing theory of conspiracy against the Gunners? Have Arsenal left themselves too light for the final third of the season?
Brentford, Wolves and Watford lie in wait next - an opportunity to be in pole position for fourth spot - dare we yet believe?

| Nightmare Stats | 24 Jan 2022 | 01:14:29 | |
Boyd and Josh were joined by friend of the podcast Alan Alger to reflect on a difficult week in North London as Arsenal Cara-bow out against Liverpool before a goalless draw against bottom side Burnley hugely dents top four hopes.
Alan has the data to suggest the focus should not be on Arteta extending his contract whilst a threadbare squad leaves questions over a lack of reinforcements.
Alan also explains what he understands about the recent betting scandal story concerning a suspect yellow card, whilst Boyd is still unhappy about the very long queues!

Boyd and Josh were joined by friends of the podcast Dan ‘the voice of Arsenal’ Roebuck and Ricky Lawrence to reflect on a brilliant effort at Anfield and the strange fallout from the lack of a North London Derby against Spurs.
Are Arsenal in the right? Does anyone have the right to question our club over anyone else? Has the fanbase been this united in many years?
Also, we touch upon if the Gunners ensure their good work at Liverpool is not in vain with Carabao Cup success this week. Will we have a Wembley final to look forward to come four days time.

| Mirror Glaze Cup | 11 Jan 2022 | 00:51:32 | |
Boyd and Josh were joined by friend of the podcast Gareth ‘The Bear’ Parker after the significant disappointment of an FA Cup exit at the hands of Nottingham Forest.
Arsenal’s season came back to earth with a bump at the City Ground as Arsenal were deservedly dumped out the Cup at the hands of Nottingham Forest. It was a tough call as to which player was least impressive, but Tavares getting hooked so early may stick in the memory on a day when Arsenal importantly wore white shirts to mark a big anti knife campaign with Adidas. No more Red.
Could it be a blessing in disguise as Arsenal hunt down fourth spot. What will happen at Anfield and with the trip to Spurs this Sunday? Will the season full apart of be much repaired in a weeks time?

| An Inspired Pair of Mikel's | 17 Feb 2025 | 00:45:53 | |
Josh and Boyd were together to look back on a massively important victory at Leicester as Mikel Merino became the unlikely striker to get Arsenal over the line and keep the momentum in this title chase. We reflect on the hugely disappointing Kai Havertz news from Dubai, frustrations with Sterling, excitement with Nwaneri, and if we will be in a much stronger position come a week today… thanks as always for listening!

Boyd and Josh were joined by friend of the podcast Ari Last for what was meant to be be a pre Carabao Cup Semi Final podcast but COVID put pay to that.
The Man City result may be a few days old, but we reflect on a hugely encouraging performance that will only add to the unity of the fanbase.
What was the impact of Arteta being absent and how does he get phone signal to ring the bench? How long will Xhaka be making this kind of impact on the team and what new striker scenario may arise this January?

| Half Term Report | 28 Dec 2021 | 01:02:00 | |
Boyd and Josh were joined by friend of the podcast Oli Shorts to reflect on a very pleasing first half of the season.
A Carabao triumph and a five star performance at Norwich make for positive festive feelings amongst the Arsenal fanbase. We chat about Nketiah’s future, Xhaka’s refreshingly honest interview and cast an eye to the summer and possible transfer ambitions.
We reflect on the first 19 League games and our players of the season so far and where feel it’ll all end come May.

| The Four Ovens | 20 Dec 2021 | 00:59:11 | |
Boyd and Josh were joined by friend of the podcast and Twitter legend Geoff Arsenal to reflect on two superb victories that leave Arsenal holding onto what would have seemed an unlikely fourth place for Christmas, earlier in the season.
The trio discuss why this team is so popular with the fanbase, the glorious form of our young Brazilian Martinelli, how good this squad may be in the years to come and what do with a problem like Aubameyang.

| Arteta Remains Popular at Goodison | 07 Dec 2021 | 00:53:05 | |
Boyd and Josh were joined by friend of the podcast Ricky Lawrence for an immediate reaction to defeat at Goodison Park.
There was no 'snail' chat this week to boost morale after two successive defeats on the road, where Arsenal threw away points in an all too familiar fashion having taken the lead yet again.
Do we remain in a battle for fourth spot or are we back concentrating on any European qualification and nothing more? What do we do with a problem like Auba and what has Pepe done to deserve being ghosted quite so strongly?

Boyd and Josh were joined by chocolatier Oliver Shorts for a rare Sunday night podcast.
Boyd’s Breakfast Party of Snails and Omelettes makes for an unusual start to the podcast but before long the trio settle down to talk business and victory over Newcastle.
Odegaard’s inclusion didn’t prove to be what many would have hoped for, but credit is given to Arteta after a fine performance from Tavares and Lokonga whom the manager stuck by.
A huge trip to Manchester awaits, likely against a new manager. A positive result would be huge statement.

| Have Offspring With Smith Rowe | 25 Oct 2021 | 00:56:56 | |
Boyd and Josh were joined by chocolatier Oliver Shorts as the trio revelled in one of the best performances of recent times as Arsenal outplayed Aston Villa with a comfortable 3-1 win.
The joy of Emile Smith Rowe is the standout topic, with his importance to this side now seemingly unquestionable, whilst Lacazette’s impressive first Premier League start leaves us all wondering quite how Arteta fits him in after two impressive performances.
There’s time to look ahead to Leeds, thoughts on Benjamin White and touch upon the abuse some AFTV regulars have been getting at the stadium.

With Josh away on business, Boyd is joined by Alan Alger for a celebration of one of the best days at the Emirates in recent memory, plus some semi-pointless transfer speculation considering by the time you hear this episode the window might be closed. Alan also has three complaints to get off his chest while Boyd acclaims one of the great chants of all time. Stay humble everyone!

| If We Win By Nine, We’ll Be 8th | 19 Oct 2021 | 01:03:37 | |
Boyd and Josh were joined by friend of the podcast Alan Alger, to reflect on a last gasp 2-2 draw against Palace, with Lacazette finding his first goal of the season to salvage a point.
Boyd had trouble getting into the stadium and wasn’t happy with the queue to get his free beer in club level, but most of the podcast was spent with the trio discussing Sambi’s exclusion from the starting line up, Saka potentially needing a break, Aubameyang showing his worth and slight fears over signs of defensive frailties.
The unbeaten run continues after a miserable start to the season and who knows, if we can beat Villa by 9, we could be up to 8th come Friday night.

| Joan Collins Slips Up | 05 Oct 2021 | 01:00:19 | |
Boyd and Josh were joined by Gareth The Bear Parker to reflect on a point gained on the South Coast as Arsenal and Brighton drew 0-0 whilst the trio reflect on the state of Arsenal as we head into another International break.
Is this the most settled Arsenal side in years? Is Gabriel’s dentist the busiest around? How will we cope without Xhaka and is Aubameyang going to rediscover the kind of form that once made him a golden boot winner?
Thanks for listening and we’ll be back in two weeks time!

| Was Tomi on The Toilet? | 27 Sep 2021 | 00:48:31 | |
Boyd and Josh were joined by Arsenal Twitter Royalty as Geoff Arsenal was back on the podcast as we rejoiced after the terrific 3-1 win in the North London Derby.
Where to start? Glorious. Two academy products scoring goals, an atmosphere better than we’ve heard in a long time, Spurs fans leaving before Half-Time, Tomiyasu and Ramsdale on their way to becoming cult heroes… it was a day of celebration.
So where can this new found, injury free Arsenal side go from here?
Thanks for listening and we’ll be back next Monday.
