After three years away, I’m finally coming home.

In this deeply personal season premiere, I share the story I’ve spent years gathering the courage to tell—not because it’s perfect, but because it’s true.

As a third-generation adult child of an addict, I spent much of my life surviving patterns I didn’t create, carrying responsibilities that were never mine, and searching for safety in all the wrong places. Stepping away from the podcast wasn’t the end of my story—it became part of my healing.

In this episode, I open up about what the last three years have taught me: the grief, the growth, the fear, the healing, and the moment I realized I had to stop arguing with who God created me to be.

If you’ve ever questioned your worth, struggled to trust yourself, or wondered whether healing is really possible after childhood trauma, this conversation is for you.

This season is an invitation to return—not to who you were before life hurt you, but to the person you’ve always been underneath the survival.

As adult children of addicts, many of us learned how to survive long before we learned how to feel safe. Over time, survival patterns can become so familiar that we mistake them for our personality, our identity, or simply “the way we are.”

In this guided meditation, we’ll gently slow down and create space to become aware—aware of our thoughts, our emotions, our nervous systems, and the protective patterns we developed in response to childhood trauma and dysfunction.

This meditation is not about fixing yourself or judging your experiences. It’s about observing with compassion and recognizing the difference between who you truly are and who survival taught you to be.

Together, we’ll explore:

Hey beautiful people, on this episode, I talk about the 7 stages of grief and my experiences around them. There has been a lot of death not only within my community but also around the world. Death is for sure an experience we all have in common, fortunately, I was able to attend grief counseling when needed. However, I also know that not everyone has access to those sorts of resources. So, if you're reading this, I hope that you're here to not only move towards your healing but to also hold a moment of silence with me. Be sure to monitor your triggers around grief and if you're comfortable enough, let's talk through them. Sometimes healing takes a village!
