A weekly witchy themed fiber arts podcast! We're a coven of two yarn witches trying to craft fiber magic through knitting, dyeing, spinning, and whatever we can get our witchy hands on. It's a long distance coven, so we thought we'd open it up to yarn witches across the globe so we can spread our black magics far and wide. Anansi’s Daughters for tours! We took the NOLA Voodoo Walking Tour with High Priestess and loved the time we spent with Eshé, who was exceptionally inviting and informative. The tour centered around Congo Square in Armstrong park, so if you’re not so interested in walking longer distances but are comfortable standing for a couple of hours, this would also be accessible to you. They also offer a Black Music & Hoodoo tour and ‘The Blackest Ghost Tour’ which sound like incredible experiences. https://www.anansisdaughters.com/

For campy fun + classy decor + great tea and nibbles we really enjoyed the Vampire Apothecary https://vampireapothecary.com/ we had the loveliest ‘goth girl tea time’ there! The have another location called the Vampire Cafe.
Occult Corner: Lauren got sucked into the Twin Flames Universe cult at the recommendation of Emily’s shipping manager, Sarah, and decided to tell Emily all about it. There are several streaming documentary series on this new age cult, Lauren found the Netflix one to have more trauma porn but also allowed cult survivors to tell more of their own story, the one on Prime was a little more removed and focused on the Vice reporter who broke the story in early 2020. Both series interview a queer expert. There was also an episode of the Conspirituality podcast on the cult.
Occult Corner: Lauren heard about The Cult of The Great Eleven on a recent episode of My Favorite Murder and read the book of the same name by Samuel Fort. Here’s her book report on this Roaring 20’s Lady-Cult! In part two, we hear about the cult’s grisly crimes and eventual downfall. https://www.samuelfort.com/
