| Soul Sessions: Reprogram Your Unconscious: Everyday Habits to Rewrite Your Inner Dialogue | 09 Oct 2026 | 00:33:14 | |
This week on Soul Sessions, Amanda Rieger Green teaches a powerful, practical technique for shifting the unconscious programs running beneath your conscious mind — using activities you already do every day. Brushing your teeth, showering, folding laundry, doing your skincare routine, or driving a familiar route are all low cognitive load moments where your subconscious is free to run its usual script: worry, rehearsal, criticism, future tripping. Amanda walks through her own process for catching these patterns without judgment, using a simple smile or breath to interrupt the loop, then consciously introducing a new dialogue through questions, intentions, or her go-to phrase, "Today I'm available for…" She shares real moments — like laughing at herself over a Sunday morning coffee pot rehearsing an argument — that illustrate how awareness alone starts to change the pattern, and how repetition in these small daily windows builds real, lasting shifts in peace, ease, and resilience. No extra time required — just a new way of using the time you already have. Use Amanda’s free resource: 7 Days of Intentions to kickstart your point of attraction towards living a higher vibrational life

| What's God Got To Do With It?: She Was a Pastor But Couldn't Receive What She Taught | 04 Oct 2026 | 00:40:01 | |
Colleen was a pastor. She was teaching God's word, leading others, preaching identity in Christ. But behind closed doors, she felt like a hypocrite. She knew what God said about her. She could teach it. She believed it was true... for everyone else. But for her, it felt like words on a page that wouldn't land in her heart. And on top of that, she was carrying a lifetime of shame about her body. Since she was eight years old, shopping in the "chubby girls" section, she'd been told she had a problem to fix. She'd been on every diet. She'd tried to overachieve in everything else to make up for the one area she couldn't get right. She'd been given mixed messages her whole life: skinny is beautiful, but you're okay just the way you are. Don't overeat, but finish everything on your plate. Sugar is bad, but it's the reward for being good. By the time menopause hit, she was gaining more weight, trying harder and harder to lose it, and sinking into the lowest point of her life. She felt like a failure. She felt disgusted with herself. And the worst part? She couldn't reconcile what she knew in her head with what she felt in her heart. She had seen God heal her miraculously from incurable diseases. So why couldn't she get from what she knew about her identity in Christ to actually seeing it and feeling it in her life? She kept thinking: I'm the problem. I have to fix myself. Colleen had fought so many battles—behavioral modification, diet plans, spiritual disciplines, positive affirmations—but she was fighting the wrong battles. And when you fight the wrong battles, you don't win the war. When she heard Leanne's podcast with Dr. Lee Warren, she cried through the whole thing. She thought, This is too good to be true. But she was desperate. She had nowhere else to turn. And she asked God, Did you put Leanne in my path? In this powerful case study, Colleen shares how she finally learned to go to the root instead of just trying to fix the behavior. How she dismantled the lies that had infiltrated every area of her life and built what she calls "new beautiful beliefs"—not positive affirmations, but truth that actually landed in her bones. How she learned to be friends with her body again, to take off the minister hat and just be the woman, the essence, the soul God created her to be. Today, Colleen is at peace with herself for the first time in her life. She's not obsessed with her weight or her size. She's not fixated on what she looks like. She's learning to care for her body instead of punishing it. She's starting strength training—not to lose weight, but to get stronger and thrive. She's wearing clothes that make her feel alive instead of hiding in frumpy baggy outfits. She's showing up in rooms without worrying about how she looks or what she said. She's ushering in God's peace and grace instead of getting pulled into other people's chaos. And the sweetest part? She has a hope-filled expectation for the future. Instead of dreading getting older, fatter, more wrinkled, she's asking, What's the abundant part of life here for me in this season? She's living Psalm 92: Those who are planted in the house of the Lord shall flourish in the courts of our God. They will bear fruit even in old age. If you've ever felt like you know God's promises are true but they don't feel true for you, or if you've ever felt like a hypocrite because you can't receive what you teach, Colleen's story is for you. Because healing isn't about trying harder or praying more or fasting more. It's about going to the root. It's about learning how to take your thoughts captive in a way that actually works. And it's about finally surrendering—not giving up, but letting God show you the right battle to fight so you can win the war. | Write Your Story: The Next Step in Your Creative Path | 03 Oct 2026 | 00:29:37
Tomorrow is the LAST DAY to join us for The River Within, the new program I’m hosting with my friend Ruthie Lindsey. In this episode, we’ll awaken your creative gifts and activate your life force! One of the ways we’ll do this is through the topic of today’s episode: aligned, messy action. If you’re a thoughtful, deliberate, intentional person, you likely struggle with aligned, messy action. You probably prefer precise, perfect, effective action. And yet what you need most might be permission to try and fail. Permission to move forward, even if it’s not the “right” move. That’s exactly the permission I’m granting in this episode, and in The River Within. I hope you’ll join us. | Soul Sessions: October 2026 Energy Forecast: Venus & Mercury Retrograde, Pluto Direct & the 11/2 Master Month | 02 Oct 2026 | 00:37:40
This week on Soul Sessions, Amanda Rieger Green maps out the energetic terrain of October — a month she describes as a curious and wild ride. She opens with an oracle card pull, "Relax the Hold of Darkness and Be at Cause," setting the tone for a month that asks for courage, trust, and a loving, courageous heart leading the way. Amanda breaks down the astrology at play: Venus retrograde in Scorpio backing into Libra, Pluto stationing direct in Aquarius after months of internal transformation, Mercury retrograde arriving late in the month, plus a Libra new moon and Taurus full moon. Numerologically, we're in an 11/2 master month — an energy of relationships, sensitivity, and higher connection. Amanda walks through three major themes to navigate this month: energetic permeability and overwhelm, relational mirroring (what your relationships are reflecting back to you), and the deeper biological mutations many people are feeling as consciousness accelerates. Practical tools included: how to tell if overwhelm is "yours," a simple physical reset for anxiety, and why prayer and intention can be some of the most powerful things you do this month. | When Everything Falls Apart at Once & Stuck in the Middle of a Family Feud (Couch Talks) | 01 Oct 2026 | 00:36:34
What do you do when all the bad things are happening at once? This week, a listener shares that her husband is recovering from open heart surgery while three of her siblings have been diagnosed with serious cancers. She's always been the positive one, but now she feels numb and can't even cry. Should she force herself to feel it, push it away, or just be grateful she's okay? We talk through grief, worry, and how to hold it all when life gets really hard. Then, a listener finds herself stuck in the middle after her mom and her husband's estranged dad started dating (and even walked down the aisle together at her wedding!). Now the relationship has turned toxic, her husband wants nothing to do with either of them, and everyone is waiting for someone else to apologize first. How do you keep the peace when your family is torn apart? Have a question for us? Send it our way and we might answer it on the show!

| Dealing with Narcissists at Work | 22 Sep 2026 | 01:10:10 | |
Working for or with a narcissist can seriously damage your mental and physical health. Today we're breaking down what narcissism actually looks like at work, from the loud, degrading "overt" boss everyone can spot, to the sneakier "communal narcissist" who love-bombs you, plays the hero, and quietly discards you once they've gotten what they need. We talk about why these people rise to the top, how toxic teams end up mirroring dysfunctional families with everyone playing a role, and what to actually do if you're stuck in a workplace like this, including documenting everything, setting boundaries, and being honest with yourself about how much you can really take. Plus, this week's Hasbro Moment honors a teacher, coach, and dad who shows up fully for kids both in and out of the classroom. | What's God Got To Do With It?: Making Peace With What I Can't Control with Lysa TerKeurst | 21 Sep 2026 | 00:46:40
In this powerful conversation, Lysa TerKeurst gets honest about something most of us don't want to admit: we all have control issues. And often, what we call "being responsible" or "planning ahead" is actually fear disguised as strength. As the founder of Proverbs 31 Ministries and a #1 New York Times bestselling author, Lysa has spent years helping women navigate boundaries, forgiveness, and faith. But in her new book, Making Peace With What I Can't Control, she reveals her own struggle with trying to change people who don't want to change, prevent outcomes she feared, and manage things that were never hers to control in the first place. In this episode, we explore the intersection of neuroscience and faith, how our brains are wired to seek certainty and safety, and what happens when our need for control bumps up against our relationship with God. Lysa shares how to know when we've crossed the line from healthy responsibility into fear-driven control, what it actually looks like to surrender without giving up, and how to make peace with trusting God's heart when we don't understand what He allows. This isn't about becoming passive. It's about learning the difference between what is actually ours to steward and what was never ours to carry. If you've ever felt exhausted from overthinking, trying to fix others, or wanting to figure it all out, this conversation is for you. | Write Your Story: Here’s Why You Should Celebrate Yourself | 21 Sep 2026 | 00:34:26
I used to think celebrating myself was self-centered. Self-aggrandizing. A waste of time at best. An overextension of the ego at worst. If someone else wanted to celebrate me, I would let it happen. | Soul Sessions: Why We Ignore What We Already Know (And How to Break the Pattern) | 21 Sep 2026 | 00:33:51
This week on Soul Sessions, Amanda Rieger Green explores the space between what we know deep down and what we're actually willing to do about it. Why do we stay in relationships, jobs, and patterns that felt "off" from the very beginning? Amanda breaks down how fear disguises itself as pride, loyalty, people-pleasing, and rationalization — and walks through the shift many of us are feeling between third, fourth, and fifth-dimensional consciousness (and why the "fourth dimension" can feel like walking against ocean waves). She shares a personal pattern she's tracked in herself for years — the quick slide from sensitivity into criticism and self-righteousness — as an example of how to notice and interrupt old coding without shame or over-analysis. Amanda also offers practical, low-hanging-fruit tools for pattern-breaking: movement, sleep intentions, hydration, and nourishing food choices as the foundation for bigger courage and bigger change. If you're staying somewhere because the discomfort feels familiar rather than facing the unknown, this episode is your permission to trust what you already know. | Is It 'Bad Enough' To Ask For Help? (Couch Talks) | 17 Sep 2026 | 00:44:21
We're answering two emails that hit close to home for a lot of listeners. First, Sarah, 32, writes in feeling like a stranger to herself after a lifetime of being whoever everyone else needed her to be, and asks how to actually start figuring out who she is. We talk through some real starting points, from noticing what energizes you to practicing choosing for yourself in small ways. Then Mary, 47, shares a vulnerable question about a long, complicated relationship with food and her body, and asks how you know if something is "serious enough" to get help for, even when you're still functioning and showing up for your life. We talk through why the answer to that question might be simpler than she thinks. Get some Feeling Things merch by clicking HERE! | Comfort Over Cool: Confessions of Getting Older | 15 Sep 2026 | 01:03:39
Amy's feeling proud, while Kat's feeling sad! We confess all the ways we've settled into getting older, from sensible shoes to loving vacuums to not wanting to go to concerts that start too late. Kat takes us through the realization that millennials are no longer "the future" (or the problem child) as Gen Z has officially taken over that title. Plus: a story about the time Amy's mom showed up at school and walked her to class, a mom who told her kids the TV "broke" four months ago, taking a cruise to Antarctica, and this week's Hasbro Moment honoring a teacher whose family tradition of playing Monopoly turned into decades of showing up for a family in need. | Write Your Story: To Learn the Truth, Listen to the Body | 12 Sep 2026 | 00:34:44
The dominant cultural narrative says that truth lies in data, rational thinking and logic. And so when we set out to heal, we think we need to alter the thoughts, reframe the story, and get the mind under control (and for a while this may even work). But then there comes a point where the body begins to disagree with the mind. The body doesn’t care about “right” answers. The body doesn’t care how you’re “supposed” to feel. The body is unconvinced and unconcerned with positive affirmations. The body has one objective and one objective only: to express what is inside. What’s true. And a repressed body will eventually get louder. Much louder. Are you willing to listen to the truth of the body?

| Soul Sessions: Intentional Friendship, Front-Loading & the Energy of September (with Amy Brown) | 11 Sep 2026 | 00:58:18 | |
This week on Soul Sessions, Amanda Rieger-Green welcomes a very special guest: her cousin Amy Brown, co-host of The Bobby Bones Show and Feeling Things with Amy and Kat, who traveled all the way to Cuenca, Ecuador to visit her. Amanda and Amy dive deep into what it means to be truly intentional in friendship, how the loss of both of their mothers deepened their bond, and why "front-loading" your schedule to protect time with the people you love is worth it. They talk through calling an audible, coping mechanisms disguised as chores (hello, aggressive counter-wiping), book recommendations for reconnecting with fiction, and how September's numerology landing as a 1 month in a 1 Universal Year, amplified into a 10, is asking all of us to engage more fully and show up present in our relationships. Amanda also opens up about a recent, tender loss and what it's teaching her about living in the now instead of waiting for "someday." A warm, funny, and honest conversation about presence, reciprocity, and inhabiting your life with the people who matter most. Host: Amanda Rieger Green Subscribe to Amanda's YouTube HERE! | Soul Sessions: September 2026 Numerology: The Capstone Month & the Power of the 1 Year | 04 Sep 2026 | 00:50:43
September is the capstone month of numerology — the ninth month landing inside a 1 Universal Year (2026), amplified by the energy of 10. In this episode, Amanda Rieger Green breaks down why this month accelerates new beginnings, self-authorship, and identity, and why so much closure has shown up in a year that's supposed to be about starting fresh. She unpacks the shadow side of the 1 (urgency, busyness for its own sake), the meaning of the 0 as pure potential and higher consciousness, and how to recognize what's still emerging in you from the last nine-year cycle (going back to 2017, the last 10 Year). Amanda also shares how the body is processing accelerated energetic shifts, why the small moments — not the big dramatic ones — carry the most data about where your life force wants to go, and what to expect as September, October, and November build toward each other. Plus: how to find your personal year and personal month for September, and details on Amanda's Frequency Field fall bundle for anyone wanting to go deeper in community.

A caller offers her perspective on a tough topic, why an ex moving on to a new relationship might actually be a hidden gift, even when it stings at first. We break down how to weigh a guaranteed good thing against an unknown bigger opportunity. | What Your Fidgeting Says About You + 7 Morning Habits of Happy Couples | 01 Sep 2026 | 00:57:50
Do you touch your hair or fidget with your jewelry at work? We're breaking down a communication expert's take on small nervous habits, twirling your hair, fixing your earrings, playing with loud bangles, and why these tiny, seemingly harmless movements can unintentionally read as nervousness or even flirtation to the people around you. We talk about the upcoming Verity movie and get into 7 research-backed morning habits that couples who stay in love tend to share, from a 6-second kiss to connecting before checking your phone. We got a sweet DM from a listener grateful for the show's prep work ahead of Kat's baby, a hilariously dark confession about making a younger sibling cry on purpose as a kid, and a whimsical mental reframe for creating your own "golden ticket" to a great day. We're also continuing our Hasbro Moment series, this week honoring a school librarian who creates a true sense of community for her students, and celebrating how games like Jenga, Scrabble, and Trivial Pursuit sneak in real learning through play. | Soul Sessions: Why You Can Feel Lonely Even When You're Not Alone | 30 Aug 2026 | 00:30:38
You can be loved, surrounded, and constantly connected — and still feel profoundly unmet. In this solo episode, Amanda unpacks the difference between solitude, isolation, and loneliness, and why loneliness isn't about lacking people — it's information. Drawing on her public health background (and the loneliness research she presented to Amazon during the pandemic), Amanda explores why this "epidemic" has only deepened since 2021, and connects it to the current astrology — Saturn and Neptune both retrograde in Aries — asking us to grow up and soften at the same time. In this episode, Amanda covers:

| Write Your Story: Stop Doubting Your Brilliance | 28 Aug 2026 | 00:32:13 | |
You are brilliant. You don’t think you are, but you are. The exact way that you move through the world, that you love others, that you dress, that you speak, that you take care of people, that you create and make and dance and laugh is magical and needed and utterly irreplaceable. The problem is you’re second-guessing it. You’re downplaying it. You tell yourself that you don’t want to be too arrogant or think too highly of yourself. You don’t want to stand up too tall or shine too brightly. This is your reminder to shine EXACTLY THAT BRIGHT. To shine so brightly that you feel like an absolute fool. A listener wants to know the difference between relating to someone's story and accidentally one-upping them, where does connection end and competition begin? We also tackle a tricky friendship dilemma: a listener whose friend gets loud, aggressive, and mean when she drinks too much on trips, and now keeps inviting herself along to group vacations. And finally, we answer a heartfelt letter from a bride whose engagement season has been completely overshadowed, first by a wave of friends getting engaged around the same time, and now by her own dad's upcoming wedding. | How to Get People to Like You More + Why Glen Powell Couldn't Eat Ketchup for Years | 25 Aug 2026 | 00:56:03
Amy bought Glen Powell's ketchup on a whim at the store and there’s so much more to this then we realized. We get into his wild journey from a childhood ketchup trauma to co-founding his own organic condiment brand, Smash Kitchen. Kat unpacks family systems for us and the different roles people tend to fall into growing up, the Hero, the Mascot, the Lost Child, the Placater, and the Scapegoat, and talk through why the "truth teller" of the family so often ends up labeled as the problem. We also talk about a psychological trick called the Benjamin Franklin Effect, the surprising reason people actually like you more when you ask them for a small favor, not the other way around. Plus, we share an incredibly touching story from a Hasbro Moment listener whose autistic son found connection and confidence through simple board games like Hi Ho! In this solo episode, Amanda explores what it really means to be soulful: not the extraordinary or transcendent, but the ordinary — a song on the radio, a waiting room, a hard conversation you didn't run from. Amanda reflects on presence, discernment, and the difference between performing a soulful life and actually living one — including how grief, pain, and uncertainty (what she calls "the hallway") can be some of the most soulful teachers we have. A listener had a mortifying public moment...and somehow ended up on a date because of it. You'll have to hear the full story to believe it. It’s so crazy and we’d feel so embarrassed, but also grateful?? Haha. We hear from a caller who confesses she pre-cleans her house before the cleaners arrive, and yes, you are not alone if you do this too. A listener encourages Amy to cut her hair, plus we answer a question that was asked by many: what is a drink dropper?! We also get into a tricky question from a listener who works as an overnight cleaner: she found something disturbing left behind by a group of teens at a school she cleans, and now feels strangely embarrassed to even report it to her male supervisor. Amy’s gushing about a book that might be the best read of the year, no spoilers, just pure obsession. Then we dig into some research-backed data on family dinners and why something as simple as eating together regularly can lower kids' aggression, reduce disordered eating, and even boost grades and self-esteem. We also get into a genuinely useful parenting hack for avoiding yes/no questions that invite pushback (and yes, we tested if it works on spouses too), plus Quiet Hours at Sephora, a sensory-friendly shopping option way more people than you'd expect could benefit from. And we share an incredibly moving email from a listener nominating her local teacher, whose classroom was damaged in recent flooding but who's kept showing up for her students anyway. | What The Hell Are We Doing With Our Lives + 6 Rules to Avoid Being Cringe | 04 Aug 2026 | 01:01:15
We break down the idea of an annual "Girls Dinner" (specifically built around the question "What the hell are we doing with our lives?"), where you and your closest friends put your phones away and answer things like what you want more of, what you're tolerating that needs to change, and what you'd go after if you knew every woman in the room had your back. Then we shift into 6 rules for avoiding cringe behavior, from speakerphone use in public to scrolling through someone's photos without asking. We also share our feelings of the day and get into whether it's too soon to buy a "Golden Girls" style house with your best friend decades before you're actually that age. We also ask a question that doesn't come up enough: do you ever lie about your occupation? For example, would you lie about being a therapist to a stranger on a plane just to avoid unpacking their childhood trauma on vacation?

We break down the real pros and cons, from accessibility to the risk of over-relying on something that can't read a room or hold real accountability. Then we dig into a gut-wrenching anonymous voicemail from a mom navigating estrangement from one of her sons…we also talk about how social media algorithms may be quietly reinforcing family cutoffs once someone goes down that road. We lighten things up with a listener's amazing story about her mom, a 1960s nursing student who was so determined to give birth without twilight sleep medication that she bit her lip through labor rather than make a sound, delivered 7 of her 9 kids naturally, and went on to become a Lamaze instructor. | 6 People Who Quietly Drain Your Energy, Over-Apologizing & Semen Jewelry (Yes, Really) | 28 Jul 2026 | 01:03:37
We’re breaking down the 6 types of people quietly draining your energy: the Constant Critic, the Guilt Tripper, the Fake Supporter, and more. We also cover the "survival strategy" behaviors you didn't realize were trauma responses in disguise (over-apologizing, we're looking at you). Plus, we get into Enneagram Types 7, 8, and 9, unpack the very real "Crush Recession" hitting the dating world (53% of singles report burnout, and we have thoughts), and yes, we talk about the semen jewelry trend that is freaking us out. There's also a Honey-Do Hack, a Wait to Worry segment and Kat watched two documentaries on Netflix: Shipwrecked & Toxic Love Story. Get some Feeling Things merch by clicking HERE!
