The Black Phone from 2021(2022) was directed by Scott Derrickson (Dr. Strange, Sinister, The Exorcism of Emily Rose) brings us this Thriller/Horror starting Ethan Hawke as "The Grabber" who has been abducting kids in North Denver. We go through the movie and then discus what aspects of this movie could make it into this years HHN event!

This week Nick and Shamus dig through the long list of past HHN Original houses to find some we'd love to revisit. There are so many great options, but these ones are the ones we ended up settling on. What would you like to see come back for one more time or more?

This week Nick and Shamus each go through their own personal dream IPs for HHN that have yet to be used so far. Will these happen? Probably not, but we can dream!

With the trend of recent years we have consistently seen a presence of a Netflix property; Stranger Things Season 1 - HHN 28, Stranger Things Seasons 2/3 - HHN29 and The Haunting of Hill House - HHN30. This leads us to our topic this week as to which property we will see this year! Will it another Stranger Things run? Will it be Squid Game or Fear Street? Could The Haunting of series make a return with us visiting Bly Manor this time around. Listen along as we vote not likely, likely or very likely on a select few properties!

This week we are taking a trip to Willy's Wonderland! We made sure to steer clear of the Super Fun Room don't worry. This 2021 Horror/Action/Comedy staring a mute Nicolas Cage show us satanic animatronics come to life! In his role as The Janitor it is up to him to leave Willy's as clean as new in order for him to get his ride back so he can leave this desolate twisted town in his rear view once and for all.

This week we thought we were going to have ALL the Scare Zones to talk about, but just as Horror Nights does they only gave us a taste. One announcement Monday followed by another on Tuesday. Maybe next week we will get more, but until then let's dive into these two.

As promised from a few weeks ago we have finally listed out our Top 5 HHN Houses we've been through!

This week we took a poll asking YOU what past HHN Character could be or should be an Icon. And boy did you deliver! With loads to talk about this week we dive into all the suggestions our great fans sent us and go through which ones we think could make the cut!

With all the Scream talk this past week, we decided it was time to dive back into one of our "Fake" or "Fan Style" Speculation Map episodes were hit up another decade of horror movies. The 2000's. What a weird time; reality TV, flip phones and a plethora of mediocre horror movies. There really wants a large amount of amazing content to chose from but we pulled out a full map. 10 houses, 5 scare zones and 1 show! Listen along and let us know what you would have chosen!

With "Scream" in the movie world again we figured why not take a look back at the series and see what could work as far as an HHN House. We had a small taste of Ghostface at HHN with him being in All Nite Die-In: Take 2 and we thought maybe this could work again. So listen along as we go through the series and moments from the movies that could work or not work at this upcoming event!

With Scream 5 just around the corner we decided to take a closer look at the smash hit slasher that kick started this series and rejuvenated the over populated genre of the 80's. Scream! From the iconic mask to the best opening line a horror movie "Do you like scary movies?" this ahead of its time, who done it style of horror paved the way for generations to come!

This past weekend we got invited to Sir Henry's Haunted Christmas to participate in their media night! We got to check out the lay of the land, the 2 houses they offered, their swag shop, laser tag, escape game and axe throwing! This event was an absolute blast and is taking place Dec 10-11 and Dec 17-19. Be sure to get your tickets ahead of time online and enjoy this while it lasts! This is the first year they are running a Christmas style haunt event and we hope you all get to check it out and enjoy it as much as we did!

PUNISH! (ourselves)....and that we did. This month's Killer Review brings us to the 1984 Christmas Slasher that caused major uproar by centering a "sacred and innocent" character such as Santa Claus and centering it around murder and ! How could this go wrong? Well toss in some more classic slasher tropes such as countless , 80s bullies, a mental facility and even an orphanage! Listen along as we dive into this perfect December watch!

We continue along on our HHN Recap month interviews with Cody Carson from Set It Off. The LA based pop-punk reaches around 2.5 million monthly listeners and has appeared all over the Billboard Heatseakers, Next Big Sound and Top 200 list! Originally from FL, Cody has been a passionate HHN fan since he was young. Listen along as we dive into their band history a bit, past and upcoming tours, new releases and of course plenty of HHN talk!

Unmasking the Horror is an absolute MUST for HHN fans, however we still find that lots of people don't know about this offering.
