It’s about getting the opinions of ordinary people on the street on a given issue – to present a sample of public opinion at any given time or place. It’s also something we teach in year one at the University of Bedfordshire – because it can lead to fantastic content. Terry loves Crystal Palace FC. Obviously not everybody does. FYP is a podcast made by and for Crystal Palace fans. Sports fan-run podcasts are increasingly popular, every major sports team will have at least one in their honour. The specific and personal nature of podcasting is allowing this particular genre to grow and thrive. Terry spoke with FYP's Jim Daly to find out more about the origins and business of publishing a football fan podcast.

Terry has never been a specialist music presenter. But he has worked with some talented DJs over the years and has seen how specialist genre music programmes can bring unique audiences to a radio station.
