If you watched the College Cup, you probably wondered about the quality of soccer being played and the bus Virginia parked in front of their own goal. If you didn't watch, you probably heard all about it on Twitter. So what's more important? Winning ugly or at least trying to play? Meanwhile, another trophy was lifted in Liga MX, Frank Lampard's NYCFC fate got murkier, Steven Gerrard was linked with the Red Bulls and Brek Shea seems to be on his way to Orlando. Dynasty. There's no arguing it now. The LA Galaxy made it three MLS Cup titles in four years on Sunday in dramatic fashion, MLS Volkswagen MVP Robbie Keane doing the extra-time honors against the luckless Revs, now five-time runners-up in the big game. It's down to four in the MLS Cup Playoffs, presented by AT&T. Well, almost. Three are locked in and, as of taping on Monday, Seattle and Dallas were set to battle it out for the final stop. Because of that, the guys start the show with a fake recap of the match, and wouldn't you know it Simon goes against the grain.

After that little excercise, the guys turn their focus to the LA Galaxy's beatdown of Real Salt Lake. Tony Beltran says Landon Donovan "battered" him in recording just the third hat-trick in playoff history. New England battered Columbus on the scoresheet, too, although one of the ETR crew says they pretty much played perfectly.
