SPECIAL GUEST: Indoor soccer legend, DARYL DORAN

Don't call Daryl Doran one of Terry's "former" players - call him Terry's "favorite" player.

Daryl, a CBC legend and a member of the St. Louis Soccer Hall of Fame, and also represented Team USA in CONCACAF action, is a standout former indoor soccer player. His 827 games are the most of any player in American professional indoor soccer history. Doran previously coached the St. Louis Ambush in the Major Arena Soccer League from 2013 to 2015.

In this episode, Terry talks to Daryl about learning the hard knocks of soccer form his older brothers; Daryl's incredible juggling streak of 10,000 touches in one session, and the demands of being a player-coach.

WHERE ARE THEY NOW? Terry's first team captain, Tom Walsh.

Terry catches up with his first-ever team captain, Tom Walsh, a Brown University graduate and Anheuser-Busch alum, to talk about playing for Terry that first year and the lessons Walsh learned and kept with him for all these years.

Tom and Terry reminisce about a key goalie save dating back 52 years that both remember vividly. It was a non-goal references in our earlier interview with US Soccer's Dan Flynn, who was on the wining side to Walsh's team.

Tom talks about his career at A-B, and his soccer career at Brown University, an Ivy League School, and later in the NASL with the old Boston Minute Men.

One of the key ingredients in the success of the Brown men’s soccer squads of 1970’s was Tom Walsh, a defender for the Bears from 1972 to 1975. In Walsh’s four seasons at Brown, the Bears compiled a record of 49-14-3 and won the Ivy League Championship three times. Brown also made an NCAA appearance all four years of Walsh’s career, taking third place his senior year. As a junior, Walsh garnered second-team All-Ivy honors and All-New England honorable mention recognition. At the end of his senior year, Walsh was rewarded with first team All-America honors after leading the Bears to a 12-3-2 overall record. Walsh was also a two-time recipient of the Class of 1937 Trophy given annually to the Brown men’s soccer player who contributes the most to the program. Tom is employed by Anheuser-Busch, Inc. in West Virginia.

In this edition of EXTRA TIME WITH TERRY MICHLER, we sit down with former USMNT player, NASL standout and St. Louis University star DON DROEGE.

Terry coached Don in the early 1970s, and helped Don land a scholarship to St. Louis University. Don, a product of the famed St. Luke's parish in St. Louis, shares his journey from Terry's teams to SLU and eventually to the NASL and the US Men's National Team.

His NASL career was varied, with stops in Washington, where he played with try legendary Johann Cruyff as a member of the Diplomats. He also had time in Rochester, where he starred for the Lancers. He's had stops in Tulsa, Tampa, Chicago and Atlanta as well.

Catch up with one of St. Louis' NASL pros as he talks about his life and career and growing up as one of 11 children in his home.

In this edition of EXTRA TIME WITH TERRY MICHLER, we catch up with old friend DAN FLYNN, the former CEO of US Soccer for 19 transformative years.

Dan talks about the pickup neighborhood soccer games at St. Philip Neri (St. Louis area) where survival of the fittest was the theme of every game. The competitive spirit that has burned inside Dan was borne during those games.

In this special interview, Terry catches up with his former goalie, Mike England, who is one of just two goalies in the hoistory of CBC to post an undefeated season.

In this episode, Mike talks abou the impact Terry has had on his career and his life, the role his parents played, and challenges he's faced in keeping the doors open and the lights on at St. Mary's - a $4 million per year challlenge.

At St. Mary's, Mike has left an indelible mark on the lives of students and families in this southside St. Louis high school. He's been lauded by the St. Louis Mayor's office for his efforgts to keep the Southside neighborhood thriving and alive. During his tenure at St. Mary's, he's:

- Created an innovative housing initiative that opens a path to home ownership for low-income families in the neighborhood surrounding St. Mary's;

- Partnered with the University of Missouri - St. Louis to provide college scholarship dollars to help St. Mary's students puruse a college education in the Univerisity of Misosuri state college system;

- Created a program with the Missouri AFL-CIO to promote the trades to St. Mary's students, and

- Secured major funding sources to keep the school open when the Archdiocese announced it would no longer financially support St. Mary's.
