"What do you want for Christmas?" This is a question most of us are asked every year and we ask our children as well. We will say, "make a list and let me know what you want!" And this is fun...I even engage my spirituality in asking for and buying gifts as to where and how to shop. This is always a delight to see how Spirit/universe will engage with me.
That said, maturing in the journey is moving past me or mine. The evolving soul moves beyond the limited and personal self into the collective. What is your wish for the collective and how are you playing a part in bringing this into fruition?

My Ultimate Goal (Living from the Center) | The Authentic Spiritual Journey 278
My ultimate goal is living from the center. And this means, I am seeking to become conscious. To be conscious means we are seeking to live beyond the personality. We are moving beyond the material world and seeking to live from Spirit. Living from the Center means we are commanding the personality to let go and allow spirit to lead.
Surrender is key to the process of becoming conscious. Of course, any process or change challenges the personality. But if we have asked the universe for enlightenment and awakening, it will conspire to bring us into consciousness. This is both a difficult and arduous process at times. The process can and will be lived through and overcome however, because the spirit is stronger than the ego and personality.
What does it mean to be conscious? When I commit to being conscious I ask myself some of these questions daily:
Is what I am doing helping me become conscious?
Am I interfering with my becoming conscious?
Am I listening to my ego and personality or the soul of me?
Can I state what I have been doing in the last hour?
Am I present to what is? Right here, right now?
To be able to answer these questions will require some vulnerability and effort. But again, the soul is able to do this. When you said long ago that you wanted to live a spiritual life, the universe began to help you shift and prepare for this very moment. At some point you have said, 'WHAT IS IT THAT GOD WILLS FOR ME?' And now you are deep in process of finding this out on a subtle levels. Look at how you have been living and see how it is true for you, that when you are in alignment with the virtues of love, kindness, generosity, etc, life is working well for you. And yet when you are living from the personality and ego, life is difficult and hard and just plain weird. There is no flow. But it doesn't have to be this way.
My hope for you is that you continue to seek to live from Spirit, living out the question of, 'What is it that God wills for me?' And realize that the universe is intimately involved with you and your process. You are being guided and the more you trust this inner voice of the soul, the more room you make for God's will for your life.

Space for Grace | The Authentic Spiritual Journey 277
What is GRACE? The Bible has a lot to say about grace, and I have noticed in our culture today we don't have a lot of talk about nor practice of grace. We do hear about the idea, about how "some of us are blessed and highly favored." Interestingly, according to scriptures, grace is for everyone. For me, and you can quote me on this, "Grace is making room and holding space for another person...even when we want to react."
Grace is favor and blessing and helping someone by not reacting to their behaviors. It is loving even when it may not be "deserved."
Have you ever been the receiver of someone else's grace? There is a great humility and vulnerability to receiving grace. We are all receiving God's grace daily, and we forget to even acknowledge it. And yet, it is there.
The giving of grace to another is a tremendous act of love. It's almost what I would call extravagant. It is holding space and reactions...and sending love instead. It is the space between a feeling and a reaction. That is grace.
Saying grace is a way we acknowledge God as the source of our good.

Every moment in life is an opportunity to receive a blessing. When life happens, this is hard to remember. What do I mean, 'when life happens'? I mean that when the unexpected circumstances of life surprise, we often get confused, worried and even downright pissed! We want to rail at the universe, "WHY IS THIS HAPPENING TO ME?" And the tough truth is that everything that is happening is to help your soul to grow. You were put here to grow, prosper and evolve.
I know we all want to be happy and comfortable...and we will be, but the growth happens first! And luckily there is an ebb and flow - an up and down process of growth, then the joy and growth again. Remember not to focus on what's wrong and blow it out of proportion. Put things in perspective by looking through a spiritual lense. Grow through the challenge and get the blessing on the other side.
Every day is a new day to remember this - GO GET IT! Make this an affirmation for you each and every day! I am going to "go get it!" And know that you are supported by the universe as you move forward to do the good that you are called to do. Seek to be a blessing dear friend and dedicate all you do to God and the service of humanity.

Most of us as we developing, did not learn to breathe properly. When we were babies, we did it automatically! If we grow up in any dysfunction or addictive behaviors, we never know when the other shoe is going to drop and we do a kind of "fear breathing" which is done in the upper chest and throat - - like when someone pulls in front of you in traffic. This sends adrenaline coursing through the body, whether you really need it or not. The good news is that now you know, and you can begin to change these habits.
During this episode you will receive an accessible "how to" to begin breathing more deeply and experiencing more peace and more God in your life. And believe it or not, you can do that ANYTIME! As I learned, "...the breath is the way through." There are words to a song I love that say, "The breath of God is breathing me and resting in the breath of God I know that all is well."

Living a Resurrected Life | Experience of the Soul Podcast 357
The whole goal of the spiritual and Christian life is to be like Christ. This seems to be unpopular today, even among some who claim the name “Christian.” With the rise of Christian nationalism and distorted interpretations of Jesus' message, it’s more important than ever to pause and ask: am I living a resurrected life? In this episode, I speak from the heart about what it means to truly embody the Christ essence—unconditional love, joy, healing, generosity, service, and deep spiritual connection. I also offer a moving tribute to my great-grandfather by sharing an updated version of his hymn, “God of Peace, In Peace Preserve Us.” This musical moment reminds us that no matter the chaos, we are called to be lights in the world. Are you living a resurrected life?

Today is A NEW DAY! Each day is an opportunity stretched out before you. Have you treated it as such? I learned many years ago to do a simple practice before I go to bed in the evening...and this helps me be ready for the next day to be "A NEW DAY!"
The practice is release and forgiveness. I often just do a brief review in my mind and seek to notice how I have been annoyed or angry and seek to release that. I ask Spirit to help me release and let go and replace that hurt with light and love.
When I can release any hurt or pain from my life - - from that particular day or the past, then I can rest in peace and wake up with a whole new feeling and direction for my life. Every day is a new day! There is an expanded awareness and hope for me when I live from this renewed place of freedom.
My hope for you and for me is that we can remember on a daily basis, and sometimes a moment by moment basis to release hurt and pain and move into forgiveness. This can then free me for me "new day."
