Pregnant at 22, Ilham faced the daunting challenge of Hyperemesis Gravidarum (HG), enduring 7 months of sickness. Just when things couldn't seem more challenging, Ilham experienced a heartbreaking betrayal by her husband at five months pregnant, leading to their divorce shortly after the birth of her beautiful daughter.

Despite all of this, she was able to build a good life for herself as a single mother alongside her daughter. She started a business (Murscents) selling Frankincense, Oud/Bakhoor and Oud Oil, inspired by her own upbringing in a Somali home.
