What if the reason we don’t see aliens isn’t because they’re hiding—but because they never had a shot?
This episode dives into the Rare Earth Hypothesis, a compelling (and kind of depressing) answer to the Fermi Paradox. It suggests that while microbial life might be common across the cosmos, complex life—anything capable of building telescopes, cities, or starships—might be unimaginably rare. And Earth?
