Enter the Grayzone is where our theories and biases go to die. We come face to face with real people and have to test what we believe. Where black and white answers do more harm than good. Where Truth is as necessary as Grace and there's NO clear pathway forward. In an increasingly complex and confusing world, Christians have the opportunity to boldly engage culture with Truthful living. We also have the responsibility of following in Christ's compassionate example. Conversations related to faith, culture, gender, suicide, moral failure, autism, addiction, family trauma, and so much more.

Valk is the Founder and Director of Equip your Community, a ministry that that trains and helps churches tobecome places where LGBT+ people are embraced and thrive according to historic sexual ethics. He is also a founding member of the Nashville Family of Brothers; a modern monastery of men committed to celibacy and leveraging their singleness for service to the Church and their community. He is also a licensed professional counselor.

In this conversation, we talk about his story. We cover the things churches miss out on when they don't empower and elevate singles in church. We also consider the need to present celibacy as an option for people just as much as we present marriage.
