Every day, we experience thoughts and impulses that bring about a sense of joy, creativity, and inspiration. We want to move in the direction of these desires, be guided by them, because these are the soul's expression. This is the emergence of your higher vision. But then you're stopped short by fear. Yes, there is healthy, protective fear: the kind that makes you pull off the road when you sense dangerous driving conditions ahead. But the kind of fear that stops you from coming into alignment with your higher self, stops you from saying "yes" to your Yes ...this fear prevents you from moving the edge of your own self-concept. Fear and its cousins: struggle, anxiety - even frustration and anger - come upon you like an electric fence. The more energy you put into moving in the direction of your desires in the "greener pastures" beyond the fenceline of your current state, the more energy you'll have to put into protecting yourself from this terrifying, painful threshold. Until you break down. Tellingly, this is just when most of our breakthroughs occur, and the reason is that those limits must be broken through in order to grow into our fuller selves. So, how do we live in a world in which fear is a regular occurrence that's never going away? The end of fear comes at beginning of our understanding what fear is. Every poker player has something called a "tell." This is the twitch or quirk, change in body language or tone of voice or focus of the eyes, some signal that lets other players have an idea what you've got in your hand. Fear is your ego's "tell." It's your personal twitch or quirk that signals you are coming up against your ego's limited self-concept. Your old, limited way of being is cracking open, breaking down, and giving way to something much bigger, bolder, and better. As a visionary you have the capability of imagining and thus creating a more abundant, vibrant and fulfilling future. What is emerging requires more focus on roots than the fruits coupled with a knowing that your harvest is already and always here. This requires the development of a new set of skills and, in some ways, to 'not be of this world' of circumstances. There's a reason why the word 'Quest' is in 'Question.' If you want to live a great quest, live with great questions." A question is not something that is seeking to get something we don't already have. From the Emergence model, the question is something that's trying to emerge. Every question is answered. As the principle says, "Ask, and you shall receive." It's not just the good questions, or the helpful questions, or the "positive" questions, but every question. It's not personal, it's principle. Every question is answered. If you ask, "Why doesn't anything work for me?" You'll get an answer. The answer will be plugging you back into all the reasons things don't work for you, and bringing up a lot of new discoveries of why things don't work for you. That's why things don't work for me. You plug into the database of all of these patterns, but it doesn't necessarily bring you any close to having things work for you better, because that's not the question you asked. You didn't ask, "How can things get better?" You asked, "Why don't things work?" You get it? The key principle here is ask the questions the answer of which is the actual result you want. In other words, if you want more abundance, you don't ask, "Why am I always broke?" Right? Why is the economy so bad? Why can't I find a job? No, because you'll get a whole litany of answers for why. You'll see later it's not just answers you're going to get in the sense of just ideas in your head. The Myth of Believing and the Secret to Achieving. This is somewhat provocative and maybe even a little shocking for some of you. You see, while there is truth-the power of your thoughts. The importance of mindset. These are all very, very important elements. But in fact, it's become in a way a disease where the idea that we have to feel it, to do it, to believe it. We have to believe it to achieve it. We have to feel confident to do it. It has created in many individuals this waiting period. We are not going for our life. We are not living our life. We are not doing the thing we most want to do in creating and being because we are waiting. We are waiting to believe it. We are waiting to feel it. We are waiting to have the confidence. We are waiting for it not be scary and we checking in, with our beliefs. I'm I there yet? We are contemplating our navel instead of getting out there where the action is and going forward. This is really becomes a problem that I see more and more. Where individuals are waiting. Remember from the Emergence model. Whatever you are waiting for you are waiting with. Whatever is missing is what you are not giving. Where you are not generating your divine power plan. A power plan doesn't receive energy it generates it. You are waiting for amuse to knock. You are waiting for inspirations. As if it's going to come knock at your door, but instead of understanding it's the inspiration is in you. YOU have to act like an inspired person and you will activate inspiration. YOU have to act like a confident person and you activate confidence because it's ALL IN YOU. YOU see the truth is it's already done. It's already happening. What you need to do is to become in alignment with that which already is happening. It's just great to be with you again in episode to help you take things to a whole new level. To master the principle of emergence in every area of your life. What we will be talking about today is 'All of Your Tomorrows Are Part of God's Today.' How to access your future NOW. This is no small thing. They're not absolute realities. Time and space is like the canvass upon which we paint our perception of eternity of infinity. There's perfection which is infinity, mortal, eternal. There is perception which is our awareness of it. That little sliver of our awareness and then there is projection, which is the manifestation of our perception. The way we paint on that canvass of time and space. And then there's protection which is the frame we put around it and call reality. But it's not. It's just a painting or a photograph if you want to use that analogy, thinking of the photos, the film, and the camera shutter. It open ups for a split second. Captures a little bit of light. A little bit of the landscape. That's perception. The light and the landscape is the infinite perfection. And then it projects it on the film strip, which becomes the photo. That's the projection. And then we print it out or whatever. Put a frame hang it on the wall and that's protection. And we look at that and say "That's such and such a person or such and such a landscape." Well no, it's actually not. It's a picture of that. But if you can imagine we have a gallery of paintings or pictures and we just live in that gallery and eventually forgot it was a gallery. Forgot it was just pictures and photos. We'll be lost in time and space or lost in the gallery of our concepts and pictures of reality. And that's really what happens. That's really the very definition of being merely a human being. As we take a deep dive into unconditional living, how to be joyful, successful, and free all the time. Now this is a bold promise and premise, but it's really the way we were designed to live, and it's something that's been unfolding and emerging for me over time, and the thing about it is, we've heard about unconditional loving, and that basically means to love someone without conditions. It also means to love them regardless of conditions. So they don't have to earn your love, and they can never lose your love, because your love is independent of any criteria or agenda or conditions. That's unconditional love. Another word for that is agape love. It is the love of God, Divine. That is the truest nature of love, and that is the true nature of life, and that is our true nature. What we don't often think about is the rest of the qualities of our being, the rest of the qualities of life: peace, joy, radiant gratitude, celebration, freedom, fulfillment, all of these other qualities. The same principle applies that all of these qualities: love, peace, joy, beauty, abundance, freedom, gratitude, celebration, generosity, service, support, all of these qualities are meant to be, and are ultimately as unconditional as agape love. Today's episode is about what it really takes to create the best year of your life. First of all, what it really takes? Not what you think it takes, not what they tell you it takes, but what it really takes. The best year of your life is a completely subjective thing. What is best? What is best? Now, from your ego standpoint, it has one idea. From your soul standpoint, it has a very different idea. As the old saying goes, "A bad day for the ego is a good day for the soul". It's really important we acknowledge this because we've been conditioned to what is success, what is best, what is good, what is right, what should be, and what shouldn't be; but most of that that we've been conditioned into from the world, the truth is often opposite. From the world standard, the best year would be a year free of pain, free of most challenges, free of lack and limitation and struggle. For most human consciousness, the best year would be greater wealth, greater success, greater health, greater relationships, improvement of our human experience. That's what most people—and then again, it's relative if you're living in Syria and trying to get out the best year of your life would be to find a country that would be willing to take you in, so finding a safe place to live. If you're on the street, it'll be finding shelter. So it's always relative to where we are. Life experience is filled with duality - want, don't want, craving and aversion as Buddha taught. In fact the whole cornerstone of Buddhist teaching was the dissolving of that pattern of craving and aversion, which is the wanting and the not wanting, the incessant drive to get or get rid of in order to be free, with the understanding that the desire to want or not want actually is, the core source of the false self and all of the resistance and all of the suffering. And when that mechanism dissolves, when you no longer want or don't want, what is underneath it is the great 'isness,' is life itself, is wholeness itself, harmony itself, freedom itself, fulfillment itself, naturally expressing and naturally occurring. You're in the right place if you find yourself generally challenged to start and really move in the direction of your big endeavors, your big vision, even if you know what you want but to follow through on them once you start, and to actually complete them. To make a choice or a decision, means to cut away from, versus to be perpetually sitting on your psychological emotional fence because you're afraid that "What if the grasses are greener on the other side?", "What if I'm making the wrong decision?", "What if it doesn't work out?" All of which the ego is tricking us to believe or actually giving us good reasonable excuses for not taking action, for not making a decision; BUT they're not actually, because the truth is you can never ultimately know what's right except in hindsight. Now, you can develop intuition to know what's the right true move, regardless of outcomes and conditions; but, you don't develop that until you start acting. Then, through hindsight, discern what it felt like when your intuition led you to something that ultimately worked out, and what it felt like when it led to something that you can't get to, except with having focus and the ability to make choices and decisions, to build the next stage of your life, to follow through to completion and to follow through all the thresholds that will otherwise tempt you to lose focus, to start something different, or to do multiple things at once. If you experience all of these, of course you know you're not alone. It's one of the most common complaints and challenges. There's a principle and then there's unlimited ways to express it. So the principle of proving it as I have spoken some other trainings is that there are principles to life, and ultimately they are all here everywhere expressing they're not unfolding or evolving. Life in its true nature does not evolve, life experience what we called evolution is the unfoldment of that which was first involuted. There is an underlying idea or principle or pattern. So the ability to fly planes existed during the time of Buddha. But somebody had to come along and discover the principle and begin to create a structure that could work in harmony with it and when they did we had flight. This is really, of course, talking about it in the season of the birth of the Christ consciousness. This is about a term that I called endogenous, and the thing is that we are endogenous. Unlike an acorn, which is a metaphor I use a lot, or any seed in nature which is indigenous, meaning that it's ability to grow and unfold and produce what it needs and to thrive, has a lot to do with its external environment. You are endogenous, which means that everything you need to fertilize the soil of your soul, to activate the potential within you and to give birth to it is all within you. It doesn't really require any particular external situation. Now, you can cultivate external conditions to support you, but lacking any external condition, you still have the full and entire capacity to manifest your potential. This is one of those things that you've heard me say many, many times if not others, but what is it really mean to live it? That indeed within you is everything that you need, within you is your fully franchised, self-contained, infinite individualized expression of life. Complete, whole, nothing is lacking, nothing is missing and nothing can get in to diminish it or disrupt it, and there is really no in or out because you're infinite. Want more free trainings? Today's topic is yet another important one: 'Your Action is Your Religion'. It's part of an unfolding series of topics, around this theme of Whatever It Takes and The Commitment Code. There is this belief that you can't do something unless you feel it or believe it; that you can't take action until you feel inspired to do so, or you can't really step into that life and do that thing until you are at some certain state and have really worked out all of our issues around it. But it's absolutely not legitimate. It's what's called 'emotional reasoning'. It's just an excuse that we've come to be conditioned around our feelings and our beliefs, that they have to somehow be in a certain state in order for us to do the thing we want or the thing we're committed to… But as I've been talking about in my latest topics, that's absolutely false. Now, while it's certainly great to be inspired when you sit down to write, for example, it's not a prerequisite. Likewise, it's great to have the energy when you go to the gym to work out, but it's not a prerequisite. Just go work out, take the action and the energy often follows. You are a divine power plant, and a power plant doesn't receive energy; it generates it. Is there compelling action, congruent with your highest vision, that you need to start taking? This inner source is Cause. When you are one with it and are consciously connected and feeling its flow, it manifests Effect according to your Divine pattern. The One Minute Mystic is about beginning to develop a way of life where you're stopping on a regular basis, just for a minute, maybe even only 30 seconds, and pulling yourself out of the hypnotic spell of the world and of your own mind. Freeing yourself from a conditioned set of programs that are constantly bombarding you to believe that if you just had more of this or less of that, you'll be free. From this day forward, your driving goal is to seek first the Kingdom of Heaven within you, the Nirvanic state. To seek first the deeper connection with the Divine, to be a place of peace and love and truth for the next 30 to 60 minutes. It's just an honor to do this deep dive with you into 'Loving Your Enemy, the True Path of Healing and Mastery'. We often think about this demand or command from the Bible, 'love your enemy', having to do with other people. It doesn't really have anything to do with people. But principally speaking, it refers to all that you judge bad or negative, in your body and your world. For instance, it refers to a quality or characteristic about a person that pushes your button: they're needy, they're greedy, they're selfish, they're a thief, etc. Ultimately, all of those qualities are in you. They're not out there. If they push your button in any way, shape, or form, they're all in you. They make you sad, mad, scared, angry, fearful, resentful, and defensive. It's all in you. You're not in the world; the world is in you. You're not in relationships; relationships are all in you. You're a field of consciousness that includes all of it. Your unique experience of it all is showing where you need to grow, showing you fragmented parts of your own psyche to embrace and integrate and fall in love with. The enemy is actually showing you where the evolution is trying to happen, where the next stage of possibility is trying to happen. To love your enemy means you get to be in love with all of you and everyone, regardless of the appearance or the condition. You get to be a transparency for reality and an instrument of greater destiny, of greater potential. This is the power of loving your enemy. At the end of the day, you'll begin to realize we're not really here to save the world. We're not here to save or improve a condition. We're here to serve the emerging possibility, the emerging vision. You don't merely want to get rid of the enemy, you want to discover what's trying to emerge, what's the treasure, what's the new possibility! You're like an extra piece in this Divine puzzle, and extra pieces get pushed to the side. I'm not saying this to scare you. I'm saying this because this call is about what it really takes to make it, to grow, to heal, to succeed, and to sustain. My commitment is to be an individual who knows you can handle the truth and who tells it to you like it is. To be full-on leaders of your life, full-on givers of your gifts, where your structures are strong, where you're wealthy, healthy, happy, in love, connected, and contributing citizens in the world, you need to able to see it the way it really is. You wouldn't be here if you weren't the answer to a call. Now you have to consciously cooperate with that call. You have to consciously collaborate, co-labor, with it. Then you'll need to open up and anchor yourself in a vision that's better than it is, in the Truth, and begin doing what it really takes to answer Life's call. Will you answer the call? Greetings, my fellow Emergineers, it's great to bring you another very important topic, 'Always be Planting: How to Harvest Your Past and Seed Your future.' The first thing to understand is that you're always planting, and you're always reaping what you've planted in the past. Every thought, every word, and every action is a seed of your future moment, and every moment is the fruit of a past seed. So the thought, the word, the action, the seeds you're planting in this moment are the potential fruit of your future moments, and every now moment is the fruit of your past planting. There is no other element that enters into the equation. As you sow, so shall you reap. I don't reap what you've sown, and you don't reap what I've sown. As you begin to realize that, you can take full responsibility for this moment because this moment can't be more or less than what you've sown or planted before. This means that nobody else has ever or can ever determine the quality of this moment, the fruit in this moment, but you. The good news is no matter what harvest you find yourself with right now, whether it's a harvest of sweet fruit or sour and bitter fruit, or just a lot of weeds, that you can always begin to sow a whole new crop. You're never stuck with whatever's just there. You can absolutely begin sowing again. I invite you to identify one area of your life that may need a little cultivation. Why Do Good Things Happen to Bad People (And Why Do Bad Things Happen to Good People)? This is an age-old question, and it's answered in my latest podcast. It can be a crisis of faith when we start to look out and see what we might call 'negative', 'destructive', or 'greedy' types of people, and we wonder why they have so much more abundance than really 'decent', 'good-hearted' people. Or why are these decent, good-hearted people getting sick, and these somewhat greedy, materialist people are just doing great and flying around in their jets? There are some key distinctions to understand here. The first one is that what the law of life operates upon is consciousness, principle. What appears to be a good person and a good personality, in and of itself, is not what the law of life is operating upon. Here's a great way to look at it. If you don't understand the laws of conductivity, electrical principles, and you just take some live wires and grab hold of them, or you touch the wrong wires together, and they blow up, or they electrocute you or even kill you. Electricity is no respecter of persons. It doesn't care how nice of a person you are. If you don't understand the law and the principle of electricity it doesn't matter how good you are. You're going to have some problems. If you learn how to float you could be a really evil person, and you'll still float in the water. Think about that. If you know how to fly a plane and operate in alignment with the laws of aerodynamics, you can be a really bad person, and you'll still fly that plane. You've heard me use the analogy of the radio broadcast: Right now, right where you are, your favorite music is broadcasting. There's information, inspiration, and music broadcasting that if you were to suddenly hear, it would inspire you, and would change your mental, emotional, physical state. The only distance between you and the manifestation of the music is a distance in frequency. When the frequencies match, you have music. You have a manifestation. So that music is potentially in your life, but it's actually broadcasting at the frequency where it exists. Just like the music, the fields are white unto the harvest, the abundance is already here now. It's not here in potential. It's actually here - health, wealth, wholeness, harmony, joy, peace, love, the fullness of life, Heaven, Paradise, Nirvana - everything you could ever want, hope for, desire and need are already here actually! Not in potential, but actually... It's only potential in terms of your experience. Our call today is to no longer wait for the harvest to come, to no longer wait for the economy to change, or wait for our family, our friends to agree with or validate us. We will no longer wait until we think we're good enough or have enough, but take a stand today, in the middle of the field of our life and begin to know, affirm and live from the truth that we are surrounded by and are an expression of abundance! I invite you to make a commitment to yourself, to begin to show up, to take your basket and step into your "field" and harvest the good that's there. Start to show up as if you're really supported. This is both a powerful principle and somewhat controversial because it doesn't always look like the Universe is rigged in our favor. When we say life is for us, we are tapping into the principle of oneness, and the truth that life is always working to express more of its wholeness, abundance, and perfection — always supporting its own fulfillment. This means it's all working for your highest and greatest good. As W. Clement Stone said, "We must become inverse paranoids, believing that all of life is conspiring for us." You are a unique infinite expression of life, and through and as you life gets to know itself as an individual being. The Universe is conspiring to completely unleash its potential as you, yet we don't experience it directly. We experience our relative perception, our belief about life, our thought about life or about a condition. But because all there really is is love, and life forever giving and supporting itself, even those conditions that we would call "bad" are working together for our good. This episode shows you how to live in alignment with this... When you begin to embrace this principle, every problem becomes answered prayer. Every so-called negative condition becomes an evolutionary catalyst. You begin to ask evolutionary or emerging questions: "How does this support my growth and expansion? How is this making me stronger? How can I use this experience to become more awake, more aware, a purer, stronger instrument of life, of truth, of beauty, etc.?" When you don't understand this, you ask questions like "Why is this happening to me? What's wrong with me? What's wrong with life? God, why have you forsaken me?" Those questions keep you hooked into a paradigm of duality and separation, believing life isn't for you, and that leads to more experiences that reflect that back to you. Like this episode? I'm shaking up things a little bit here. Today's topic may be the most controversial thing I've ever talked and taught about: 'Jesus Was Not His Name'. The real purpose of this particular talk is to try to clear away a lot of the dogma, doctrine, extremism, and the fundamentalism around the great philosophies and religions. I really want to open you up to become contemplative, a student of truth, who questions, even down to the words we use. Words have power. Stories have power. History has power. There's a particular interest I have in the teachings of Jesus and the Christian teachings because of the power in them, but also because of how profoundly misunderstood they are, and how profoundly corrupted they have become in terms of the real meaning, intention, purpose, and power. These cultural iconic elements of our history such as the teachings of Jesus or Buddha, etc. have tremendous power and influence over us. They are exerting influence on us until we become conscious of them. We can integrate them, or if we discover that it's not true or right for us, we can consciously reject them. But we don't want to reject them unconsciously without understanding them, and we don't want to lose the power of them and not integrate them because we don't understand them. Forgiveness is such a loaded subject, partly because we don't really understand what forgiveness means, and that there are multiple levels of forgiveness. The most primary level is a sort of superiority; it's very much an ego-driven thing. At this level, you, to some extent, recognize that unforgiveness is unuseful; there's some level of recognizing that holding a grudge is painful and it's not helping you. The second level is when you're willing to no longer withhold from another individual. At stage, when you think about forgiving someone, there's some degree of either neutrality, or maybe even a degree of love, (or at least wanting the best for them) even though there may still be a little bit of a sting because you're still seeing them as having done you wrong. That's a very powerful step, but it's still not the truest meaning of forgiveness, however, it's very advantageous and preferable to the alternative. Here's something to understand: Forgiveness is primarily for you. If you are withholding love or blessings from somebody else, no matter what, you are actually blocking your own channel of flow. From the Emergence model we understand that whatever is missing is what I'm not giving. If I'm withholding love, gratitude, and joy from anyone or anything, at any time, that much love, gratitude, and joy cannot flow into my life. Today's topic comes from this fundamental idea that, God, as we've been conditioned to know it (whether you believe in a God or not) is a power outside of us. We are unpacking these ideas, busting these myths, and letting go of old limited archaic concepts of God, life, and power, in order to come to a deeper and truer understanding of life principles. What I really want you to get is the fundamental understanding that life is not personal, it's principle. The nature of God is an isness. God is a principle and a presence. It's not something that's changing or something that evolves. On some level, this has entered into our culture and conditioning, into the way we see ourselves, life, and the way we see the universe (Again, whether you believe in a God or you believe in a universal power, universal laws, or you believe in good luck.) All of that is a part of this fundamental concept of our belief in God. Your belief or your concept of what God is absolutely has a major impact on how you experience life, how you live life, and to the level that which you get to express the full potential of life. The first and foremost thing we need to understand is that there is no God or no power out there, not in the North Pole, not on the North Star and not in the stars. All the power is within you.
