Happy 2025! 🎉 Sara J. is kicking off the new year with an incredible first episode! This week, she sits down with jD from Toronto, a mental health advocate, podcast host, producer, and the newest member of the DATC Media family!

Together, they explore jD’s inspiring podcast journey, finding incredible success with "The Dew Over", an Academy Awards-themed podcast that climbed to #1 on the iTunes Canada movie charts and ranked in the top twenty in the U.S.

jD opens up about his mental health struggles and how they led him to create "The Show of Strength" a deeply personal and empowering project.

The conversation then shifts to "Fully and Completely", jD’s deep dive into the world of The Tragically Hip, which launched in March 2018. This passion project sparked several other Hip-themed podcasts, including "Getting Hip to The Hip" and "Discovering Downie".

Now, jD is back with "The Tragically Hip Top Forty Countdown", which kicked off on January 3rd with a roundtable discussion featuring Sara J. herself!

Over the next 41 weeks, jD will count down to the top Hip songs, (the episode featuring song #40 is already live!) culminating in a live finale fundraiser event on October 4th in Toronto—A Celebration of The Hip for ALS.
