Toyota's RAV4 has long been a solid SUV that can handle a bit off-roading and a good load of people and gear.

The PHEV version can add almost 50 miles of electric range along with its decent gas mileage.

I don't get the opp to test drive a lot of VW vehicles so this was tough to compare with previous Tiguan models.

EVs are fast. There is a reason the Cadillac uses the letter V for it's high-end badging on the Optiq. It stands for Very fast.

Not really (Velocity max) but this electric SUV pushes 519 hp and has some amazing tech features.

This particular upgraded version of the G70 is a mouthful but Genesis put its money where their mouth is.

An EV pickup truck that is quiet enough for a phone call, fast enough to embarrass muscle cars, can tow up to 12,500 lbs, and has more comfy features than my house.

I personally prefer mid-size trucks instead of the larger boys. Easier to park and handle, plus I don't haul a lot of things where I need a full-size.

So the new Pro-4X (great badge and upgrades) could be a nice option for you should you still want to schlep things around yet feel comfy on-and-off the paved roads.

Are you kidding me? 17 ft long and 5,500 lbs? This is an apartment on wheels; decorated and as comfy as a private jet.

GMC's top of the line Yukon has space, tech, and power. It does come with a hefty price but it may be the only vehicle your family needs for the next decade.

Fun and entertaining. Those words could describe me :) but also for this Italian-made SUV. Certainly sporty with nimble handling, the Tonale makes driving a pleasure with a decent price and OK gas mileage.

Yes, sedans still exist. And Nissan continues to up its game with the Sentra. The SL version adds some very nice touches yet the price remains relatively low for what you get.

After 3 years, the Cherokee is back and it's a hybrid. Very good mileage - certainly for an AWD - and a decent price for a CUV from this venerable brand.

It's like taking a big SUV and pumping it up with Red Bull. 460hp packed under the hood with Nissan's NISMO badging. If you're looking for a bad ass, big boy that is packed with tech features, comfort, and - oh by the way - packs a punch via the gas pedal, you need to check this out.

A luxury SUV that is practical, handles well, has a lot of sweet tech features, and decent gas mileage. That pretty much sums up the high-end package of Infiniti's QX60.

I don't believe there is a vehicle on the road today that shouts "Texas!" than the Ram 1500 Limited Longhorn. Yes the badging gives that away but once inside you can literally smell the real leather and wood, and see the deep stitching and upgrades that make this big ride (HEMI 5.7L V8) seem like a luxury SUV.

The Murano is Nissan's luxury mid-size SUV - a solid choice of a vehicle that combines sweet features with good pick up (241 hp).

Upgrade to the Platinum badge and you've got one of the nicest vehicles in the category.

Yes, I also review minivans. Whether you think they are sexy or not, they are incredibly useful should you schlep several people or kids. And they continue to drive just as smooth as some cars along with luxurious features.

The new Kia Carnival brings that luxury but I also appreciate the gas mileage on the hybrid version.

Yes, the Nissan Leaf is still rolling and Nissan did a really nice job of reimagining one of the original EVs. Gone is the quirky hatchback and new, sculptured look. With a range of at least 260 miles, this is one to look at and also drive.

Hybrid vehicles are the way to go, in my opinion. The combination of a gas engine and a battery offers good mileage and the new Sorento hits all cylinders.

Even the "entry level" EV SUV from Cadillac should not be considered "entry level". The brand has long stood above many other manufacturers with high-end features and capabilities. And that includes the Lyriq, which I refer to as the older sister of the Optiq.

Though not as powerful as Big Sis, the Optiq has almost the same range and similar features inside the cabin.

There are only 4 minivans available in the U.S., and I have long recommended the Chrysler Pacifica should you be in the market for a luxurious chariot to schlep your kids around town.

The 2025 Limited version is no exception as I took it for a week-long spin. Probably could have lived in it (down by the river) as the creature comforts are second-to-none compared to others in its class. And don't forget about the built-in vacuum cleaner.
