Becky had a life changing Shared Death Experience and then a remarkable Spiritual Transformative Experience when she discovered the ability to talk with her 37-year-old deceased brother even though she had no psychic or spiritual experience at the time.
After 20 years, Becky finally gained the courage to share her spiritual journey. She sold her large rehabilitation private practice that had grown from a one-person operation to a staff of 350 therapists servicing over 100.000 clients. Karla Mans Giroux – Co-Director of the Radical Remission Project, Co-Founder of Health Navigators, A Virtual Cancer Wellness Community, and a holistic cancer health coach, educator, and speaker – is a radical remission survivor living with stable metastatic breast cancer (MBC). Karla was originally diagnosed with breast cancer in 2003 and underwent a mastectomy, chemo, and radiation. Eleven years later, in late 2014, she received a metastatic breast cancer diagnosis. This diagnosis did not align with her goal of living to be 100+, so she decided to do all that she could, to manage this challenge. Karla embarked on a holistic healing journey to help herself regain optimal health and longevity. With her integrative approach to healing, she is blessed to report “no evidence of disease” since 2016! Spring Washam, considered a pioneer in bringing mindfulness-based meditation practices to diverse communities, she is a well-known teacher, healer, and visionary leader. She is the author of two books; A Fierce Heart: Finding Strength, Courage and Wisdom in Any Moment & The Spirit of Harriet Tubman: Awakening from the Underground.
Spring is one of the founding teachers at the East Bay Meditation Center in East Bay San Francisco, an organization that offers Buddhist teachings with attention to social action and multiculturalism. She is a member of the teacher’s council at the Spirit Rock Meditation Center, offering teachings on Buddhist philosophy, Insight meditation and loving-kindness practices. Spring is also the founder of Lotus Vine Journeys, a one-of-a-kind organization that blends indigenous healing practices with Buddhist wisdom for transformative retreats in South America.
She has practiced and studied Buddhist philosophy in both the Theravada and Tibetan schools of Buddhism since 1999. Spring is also a shamanic practitioner and has studied indigenous healing practices since 2008.
